3½⭐. The Luchetti family series is a good series for those of you who are into romance, with a happy ending, as are all Mills and Boon and Harlequin type romances - which I do enjoy, as much as I do other genres.

4.5 stars . I loved the characters and their stories. I had a few laughs and that always makes me like an author even more. This is probably the 5th book I’ve read by Lori Handeland (first from Luchetti series) and won’t be the last.
Jane and Bobby were entertaining from start to finish; I loved how nothing was rushed and the action in the jungle was just right for this action romance book.
As for the series... I’m most excited about Deans story, however, I will read the others because I have to see how he ended up in the situation that he’s in. I believe it will be a very interesting ride and I will be looking forward to reading all the books about the Luchetti family.

This may be my favorite story of the series. I'm a big fan of romantic suspense and this one checked the boxes. I'm so glad I found these audiobooks from my local library's online subscription - I've had this series on my to-read list for a couple years but I'm not sure I would have gotten the chance to read them anytime soon. It's been great to get through them while exercising each day or doing my household chores!

WELL THEY FELL IN LOVE, AND GOT MARRIED, AND NOW HAS THEIR SECOND CHILD ON THE WAY. BOBBY HAS COME TO ASK MARLIE TO MARRY HIM, AND IS DEVASTATED TO FIND OUT THAT HIS BROTHER IS MARRIED TO HER, WITH CHILDREN ALREADY. SO HE ACCEPTS ANOTHER ASSIGNMENT IN ORDER TO GET OVER MARLIE. Sometimes what you think you need isn't what you really need
We finally get to meet the elusive Bobby. He comes home and finds things not exactly as expected. Then there is Jane what starts as a mission turns into so much more. A little more action but what else would you expect with who Bobby is. Bonus catching up with the rest of the family

June 2, 2021DNF - no star rating. I found myself over 50% into this thing and realized I wasn’t enjoying it. I just had no emotional connection to the characters and found their romance...boring. This one’s just not for me.
