Going Down Easy is book one in the brand new series, Boys of the Big Easy, by Erin Nicholas. Prepare to fall in love with Gabe, one of two brothers that own their own bar in New Orleans.

Gabe Trahan was smitten with Addison Sloan the first time she walked into his and his brother, Logan’s bar. She went home with him that night and spent the rest of the weekend with him. Then she went home to New York where she was a restoration architect. She had been in New Orleans that weekend consulting with a

GOING DOWN EASY (Boys of the Big Easy #1) by Erin Nicholas is such a fantastic start to this new series! This contemporary romance is super sexy and hot, but it also has so much heartfelt emotion. If you are or have been a single parent, there will definitely to be situations you will relate to.

I was completely CAPTIVATED from the moment I cracked open Erin Nicholas’ Going Down Easy and I did not put it down until I finished. This couple have a once a month weekend affair and then she returns to New York and he goes on with his life in New Orleans until one day he decides to send her flowers at the local office where she is consulting and follows it up with an in person meeting and finds out some truly interesting information that leads to a crazy, emotional journey between the two of

I went from ragey to smiling while reading this. I almost put it down because my animosity for Addison was unprecedented for a heroine and not a side character. She seemed cold, unyielding and self-centered. What she was planning on doing to Gabe was so crappy. To just disappear and leave him hanging, knowing that they both had feeling for each other?? It was irrelevant if they WANTED to have feelings for each other because they did. Her internal dialogue and rationalization around kids and marr ...more

This book was fantastic!!

It felt different from anything I’ve read from Erin Nicholas before but still felt true to her storytelling. The pacing was great and don’t even get me started on the character development!!

Gabe was SO alpha but in a unique and refreshing way. I wish that more authors would write heroes like Gabe. He was so damn sure of wanting more with Addison and he was even more confident that it was going to happen and he didn’t hide it from anyone. At the same time he never tried
Tldr: nah bad hero
I just wanted something light and fluffy after my drama laden last read and I loooove NOLA. But wow hero is like a psycho. And a jerk. He all but pisses on her leg making very clear insinuations in front of her brand new boss that they slept together and emphasizing that she was the reason they decided to go with the architecture firm, either ignoring or not caring the implication that she slept with him FOR the contract. She tries to break it off with him and he goes straight

Gabe and Addison have a good thing going in the Big Easy. She's in town for one weekend a month, and he puts his real life on hold to spend that one weekend with her.

Only, it's getting harder and harder to let her go on Monday morning, knowing there are no plans to see one another again, no plans to allow one another into their real lives. And, as this also allows both of them to avoid those real life complications, it works for both of them...or

Sexy, sweet, fun, heartwarming and very realistic romantic journey filled with hard choices, loving family and loyal friends.... could not get enough of the thrilling adventure and look forward to visiting again.

Gabe Trahan is charming, sexy, fun loving and a deeply caring father (just adored him) Addison Sloan is a sexy, smart, fun and fearlessly independent single mom doing it all on her own... until Gabe. Loved every witty banter filled struggle and eye opening revelation. Highly entertaining

Going Down Easy captivated me from the first page! I ADORED Gabe Trahan the romantic, smooth talking, charming hero. Addison Sloan and Gabe spend one weekend a month together in Gabe’s home town of New Orleans. Their chemistry sizzles from day one. They have sex, eat beignets and listen to jazz and have more sex. They don’t talk to each other between visits and really don’t know that much about each other. Gabe realizes that saying goodbye to Addison is getting harder – and that maybe, just mayb ...more

I have to say for me so far Erin Nicholas never disappoints. This is another great example of her outstanding writing. The characters are well written, believable, and fun. The story is hard to put down. So be warned once you start you'll want to read this one all in one setting. Fans of great stories, fun characters, and a setting will have you ready to make a trip are going to love this release from author Erin Nicholas! I highly recommend this one.

What a great start to Erin Nicholas' newest series. I love dirty talking, hot, alpha male Gabe. I adore strong, independent Addison. Then you add in their two wonderful kids, Cooper and Stella and you have a really fantastic page turner about two single parents. I'm looking forward to hearing more from New Orleans.

Gabe and Addison were HOT! Their story flew off the pages and I couldn't put it down. After a chance meeting via text, when Gabe gets to meet Addison in person he just knows...he knows that this is going to be something special. And he's not wrong. And Addison thinks she can keep Gabe as a "friend" but she's can't resist his 'Nawlins charm! Sexy, hot book. Erin Nicholas is off to a great start with her new Boys of the Big Easy series!

Going Down Easy is the latest swoon-worthy romance from author Erin Nicholas. Told from dual points of view, Going Down Easy follows the story of Gabe and Addison. When Gabe and Addison first got together, it was just supposed to be for one night. However, one night quickly turned into a fun, flirty, no strings-attached fling. No promises of tomorrow, just mind blowing sex. Gabe and Addison have had the best time together, and lately Gabe has been feeling like he needs more. He wants a real rela ...more

Absolutely loved this story and I'm excited that it's just the start of a new series from one of my favorite authors. This book is super sexy and fun with a great setting in the Big Easy. Gabe and Addison's relationship may have started out as a once a month booty call but things get real when Addison moves to New Orleans permanently. Since their prior relationship never involved much talking and definitely no personal details they are both surprised to find out they have more in common than eit ...more

I LOVED this book! It was sexy, fun, and a bit different with both Addison and Gabe being single parents. Gabe was a hero you will be falling for in no time. Addison. Oh Addison. She drew so many emotions out of me all at once. While there were moments that I wanted to throttle you, in those same moments I wanted to go hang with her, because I’ve been where she’s been and know how she’s feeling. I enjoyed watching her grow in that aspect, and seeing her realize how much is really out there and t ...more

WARNING*: CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR. DO NOT start this book without having plenty of time to read it all the way through and then wallow a little and reread all the parts that made you smile and sigh and laugh. If not, you may find yourself trying to convince yourself that it'd be OK to let the thirteen-year-old drive to practice just this once, since MarioKart is close enough or resenting the fact that the other members of the family cannot actually prepare meals (well, is two really too early to use ...more

My Review:
Wow...I really, really liked this book. From page one I was completely engrossed with the story. The author just perfectly wove the story so that it was engaging and intriguing and I didn't want to stop reading. I loved this slowly developing relationship between Gabe and Addison (although the sex was there and HAWT from page one) and their two five year olds. This book was everything that made me happy.

For six months, Addison and Gabe have been engaging in a hot fling once a month whe

I loved the premise of this book. After a series of weekend flings in New Orleans, suddenly Gabe & Addison find themselves living just blocks from each other. This should be easy right? Well , neither one mentioned their 5y/o child during the flings.
Now taking this relationship to a new level is not so simple. There are children and parenting styles to account for.
I really liked how some of the challenges of single parenting were addressed ( loved the support group) and how both G & A

This is the first book in a new series, and I have the next one on my look out for list already. This is a lovely read, with a good mix of humour, super hot chemistry and a romance with a twist.

I like the premise of the story, and the fact that both of them have to adjust their perspectives, and their expectations for the future. It is a very cleverly written book, with some really sweet and heart rending moments, as we

In the beginning the story was mostly average. MCs are constantly hooking up when h is in town once a month, it all began as a one-night stand that constantly grew into seven month stand. Then h is permanently moving to the city where H is living and they found out that both of them have a five-year-old kid. H is pulling her close, h is pushing away and blah blah blah. Pretty standard. Then we meet those kids and your typical story turns into a good one.

I loved both MCs as parents, I

Are they permanently in lust or accidentally in love? With a steamy backdrop like New Orleans Nicholas' works her magic. Going Down Easy is meant to be memorable and with a duo like Gabe and Addison, it certainly is. When a booty call becomes the real deal, there are tough choices to be made and long withheld truths to be revealed. If the spice of life serves as the food of the heart, Erin Nicholas' has cooked up a tempting treat.
