I am reading it at the moment and wonder if anyone can direct me to a quote in it that says "A person is only violent when his/her identity is diminished". I read it some time back and this quote has stayed with me ever since but can't find it in the book again. I borrowed the book the first time that I read it and couldn't bookmark it. Can anyone else help me with where it is please?

Third time of reading. Sermonic, if there is such a word. Written by a priest and theologian. But as in the manner of Tillich, I do believe many of the insights into human existence would appeal to the nonreligious too.
