"Project Body - Awaken The Power of Insight" - after reading the blurb and checking cover design can give you an impression of the futuristic sci-fi novel. Though it is futuristic fiction, it is more targeted towards learning. I appreciate author Hosein's creativity to write a boring considered (by youth) in such a wonderful strong format. This book reminded me of Goal by Goldratt who has delivered complex concepts of the supply chain in a nice story.

The book is written in the year 2029 where AI

Project Bodi by Hosein Kouros-Mehr is a unique science-fiction book that not only tells a story but also imparts knowledge of subjects not commonly talked about.

Despite being a high-tech science fiction book, I liked the reliability of it to the real world. Science fiction books that have their roots in the reality of the real world are always very strong, and this book was exactly that. The author did a great job describing and explaining and even in spreading awareness about

Project Bodi awaken the power of insight by Hosein Kouros-Mehr combines two fundamental truths about human nature. Creation and destruction.
Even that the plot of the book is being unfolded in the year 2030, it addresses a plethora of present social problems. Issues like drug abuse, distraction, and loss of focus because of the use of our mobile phones and the social media, the ability to calm the conscious mind so it w

Some of the problems we face in life are truly hard to solve with our normal way of thinking alone. Sometimes the answer we’re looking for is right there in our own heads, sitting and waiting to be plucked, but then life’s distractions, various barriers, and our own egos make it impossible for us to know what it is. Project Bodi: Awaken the Power of Insight by Hosein Kouros-Mehr is more than just some future tech science fiction novel. This book, divided into three parts, challenges successful i ...more

How many science fiction books you have read on the future of out species? Out of them, how many are dystopian? Recently, I watched Blade Runner and I liked the cars. What if the occurrence of changes are dystopian not as the society but for the large corporations of the world of today. What if Apple becomes obsolete?

Project Bodi: Awaken the Power of Insight by Hosein Kouros-Mehr is unique in two ways. First, is the scope of reality in next 15 years will seem realistic enough to a reader to lure

This book is a unique combination of a science fiction story and self-help book. The story shows that as society gets more and more into technology, we are less present in our minds and bodies. It does not portray technology as evil, but shows how it helps us. It does show how some aspects of technology and addictions can be distracting and how we can use mindfulness and meditation to focus. Members of the team practice mindfulness and have insights for innovation from this method. Other themes ...more

Not a Science Fiction book at all!

Captured by a great looking cover and intriguing synopsis, I read this book expecting a hard, tech savvy SciFi, high on innovation. It’s not that!. It’s a self-help book expounding the benefits of the currently popular mindfulness craze, wrapped in a thin (very thin) veneer.

I don’t read self-help books and I know very little about them. My site however is dedicated to SciFi and fantasy so I’m going to review this book purely as that. Sending the book to me is a

Visionary and enlightening!

Science fiction books that involve awareness are extremely rare. This one does it, and does it well. Includes meditation techniques, but they are integrated into the story. The technology aspect of the plot is visionary, would love to see this product! Finally the CEO of Google is focused on doing only good with their products - if only we could see that in the real world!

Interesting premise

It's a technological eye opener, and it has some great insight into the mind. The book provides a lot of exercises for self-improvement. It was an easy read and flowed well, but felt like that it was part self-help and part sci-fi. It did have an interesting perspective, and those looking for a way for self meditation when you're bombarded with tech, may enjoy this book.

Project Bodi is at the upper end of the interesting books of the year chart but isn’t science fiction, so can’t be a sci-fi marvel. I just have to consider it out of the context of the genre I expected when I accepted it. Terrestrial sci-fi involves tech developments enough leaps forward from the present day to dazzle us like magic and change the context of living life, but these developments are surely almost ready for market and could appear next summer. Yes, they will change the way we intera ...more

It was a very good book, very interesting to read.
It’s about Google in the far future. Google has many people working on a new project that they call Project Bodi. It’s a pair of smartglasses that is similar to a smartphone, but it’s a portable device that you carry with you, and it has many apps.
Austin is put in charge of the project, with his boss Beth giving him deadlines and checking on his progress as he works.
Does he make it? Do the apps get approved? Who works on it? Does the project
