Razer Station is one of the most notorious stations in the galaxy. Criminals, con artists, freaks, rebels, junkies, and smugglers inhabit the space station that floats at the outer edge of civilization.
It's Roak's kind of place.
But, Roak isn't on Razer for a little R&R; he's there on a job.
For Roak, it should be an easy job- track down an old tech that has been targeted

It’s amazing how JB manages to keep up the same level of general mayhem and violence throughout all 3 books so far. I’m loving the ongoing plot line - these books, when read back to back, mimic a single longer novel, but without the pit-fall of chapters that drag on in an effort to fill up a word count. One main theme that’s a little hard to ignore is the expendability of “secondary” characters in a Roak storyline. I actually liked several in this 3rd book. I swear, if Ally dies in the next book ...more

This. Is. Insane! The best one yet, it is an explosion of violence yet still maintains the humour that I love in this series.

You want chaos? I'll give you chaos."
The chits from his last job are gone, stolen, so Roak intends to relax and enjoy his time with Allie whilst his partners track them down. But a job offer comes up worth twenty-five million chits: Risk can't resist. But it's never easy and his last best hope of tracking down his quarry is at Razer Stationn where there is a lot more happening than a simple manhunt.

Non stop action from start to finish, colourful characters and surroundings,

Starting To Go Stale, Like “Day Old Bread”

“Razer Edge: A Roak Galactic Bounty Hunter Novel,” authored by Mr. Jake Bible, is a quick read, continuing storylines started in earlier books. However, the blandness of repetition, following a previously established formula, creates the sense of staleness, as in “day old bread.” It’s a bit of a letdown for this reviewer.

Roak (once again) gets maneuvered into taking a high risk, high payout bounty, on a space station, “Razer Station,” near galactic edge.

In this the third book of the Roak series we find Roak needing some chits( money) hence when an easy job to go to an outlaw station to pick up a well known old time technician is offered , Roak goes after his Bounty.
Now if your new to this series or a fan then you know there is no simple job without some snag or " 8 million god damn" reasons why things can go wrong so much, but in this bounty even Roak is finding this one difficult as he eats through money, enemies and ammo and weapons as he att

[My review is for the Audible audiobook format.]

This scifi adventure story was a lot of fun. Roak, our hard-to-kill galactic bounty hunter, has a bit of an attitude, and so does his ship's AI system. Plenty of snarky banter abounds between those two, whenever Roak isn't shocking every poor soul he meets with brutal honesty and a piece of his mind. Hoping to make fast work of a bounty job on Razer, Roak will uncover the truth about his client and fight his way off Razer to escape hit men coming f

Roak’s latest job is to capture a tech and return him to the contract originators. A simple enough job. The problem is that the tech currently resides on Razer Station, one of the most dangerous places in the galaxy. All sorts of misfits and ne’er-do-wells hang out here and guarantee that Roak will have his hands full. The story chronicles Roak’s efforts and is full of action and excitement from start to finish. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchang ...more

Third outing for Roak, finds him desperate for chits, after his secret stash is stolen. Tricked into a bounty, he finds himself trapped on a space station that is already a dangerous place, without the current hostile take over and pending destruction from two other forces. This is a fun book, that moves at a fast pace and doesn't take its self too seriously. The continuing relationship between Roak and his AI Tessa, is developing well, looking forward to the next installment. ...more
