This book was designed by a teacher/author to teach art to school children. I'm an adult and I enjoyed reading it too!

Ellie is 12 and bored learning about art in school. She wants to travel the world and have an adventure. She is transported back to 19th Century Paris and the world of French Impressionists. Ellie inadvertently loses her friend's dog and begins chasing the dog all around Paris. Along the way, she discovers Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Paris Opera House.
