Everyone is a stranger at some point, right?

Pulled by an explicable, undeniable thread of something Nick and Noah find themselves keen on becoming more. Hashtags and flights and late-night text sessions lead to a connection neither has experienced, or expected. Beyond the shiny veneer of social media, further than the shallow depths of a good selfie, down to the real,

This was my first book by Christina C. Jones and now Im kicking myself for never having read her before!! This book was a breath of fresh air!! LOVED!!

Noah and Nick meet at the airport by chance. Someone bumps into Nick and spills his coffee and Noah, seeing that he looks to be having a bad day, goes over to help him clean up. A little eye contact, a surprising kiss....and the journey begins.

Both come home to find their social media blowing up. Why? Well, Noah is a popular

Every time I think back to this novella, I end up smiling. M/F romance with two black leads, by a black woman author. It starts with an airport meet cute between social media maven / lifestyle writer / self-care advocate Noah (female) and hotshot filmmaker Nick, where their kiss is caught on camera and goes viral. They live in different cities, but Nick is convinced the spark is enough to buy a plane ticket and meet Noah properly. Their long-distance love affair runs into some snags, the first ...more

Lovely book. It felt like I was watching a romantic comedy movie. I like that romance novels are no longer shallow and now include real life issues. This book touches on the subject of dating with sickle cell disease. Kudos to the author for making this a fun and enlightening novel...

This book is EXCELLENT. Every single word and scene. I love how they met, how they spoke truth, the way they were reticent yet still trying. Christina C. Jones wrote the real life story of Noah and how love is beyond all that. This is SPLENDID.

Beautifully crafted

The author did an amazing job with this story. I had to take a minute to get myself together after reading a few scenes. Job well done.

This one made me smile.

If you never ever read a CCJ novel then this a good place to start. Eventhough this is a novella it reads as a novel. HOPEFULLY that make sense. This book just made me smile from start to finish.

For all thirty plus novels I have read by CCJ, Noah is one of my favorite heroine. I just love her tell it like it is mentality. I love that she true to herself and encourage women to be the same. Even with her dark past and strength to get through it says so much. Nick oh Nick. He

I really liked this. A lot. I may be able to be more coherent at some point. This was such a pleasure, and a balm, on a hard day.

The chronic illness rep (MC has sickle cell disease) was lovely, with just a couple moments that were a bit iffy in how the ill MC's love interest acts, and they were pretty much all challenged. One of the best examples of chronic illness rep I have read in a romance.

Relationship Goals was a very good book. It was referred to me by a friend to read.
The storyline was great. It was not a sappy romance novel. The characters were awesome and true to real like. I plan to read more books by this author.

#Sweet

That's how I would describe this book. Very sweet.

Noah Houston, a beauty journalist, motivational speaker and nutritionists life is changed by a chance encounter with a sexy stranger in an airport that ends with a passionate kiss and a great story to tell. Only with the power of social media and curiosity, the airport stranger doesn't stay a stranger for long. Nick Davison, an up and coming filmmaker is the sexy stranger and it's his curiosity and belief in

This was a very heartwarming read. I love CCJ's writing, the way she effortlessly manages to combine a sweet romance with some very gritty 'real-life' themes. #Relationship Goals is another great read.

Nick and Noah are two high-powered personalities unexpectedly thrown together by a chance airport meeting which quickly spirals. With this endearing couple, whose chemistry is off-the-chains, serendipity has definitely smiled. From word 'go', their attraction is immediate, but also so earthy,

Are You Willing to Fight for What Could Be Amazing?

Noah and Nick are an example of what can be waiting for you if you are willing to fight through. Many want a whirlwind romance story but dont realize that lasting love is built in adversity. We want a good man but are turned off because he has chronic health issues. We want to loved by a good woman but let practice relationships blind us to and make us leery of the real thing standing in front of us. Noah and Nicks journey is beautiful, flawed,

Refreshingly Different and Loved It!!

I am so happy that I did not read any of the excerpts, blurbs, or reviews about this book because I had no clue what I awaited me--and what awaited me was a gem. CCJ took an illness that plagues that African American community and thoughtfully weaved it into a refreshing love story. I really enjoyed Noah and Nick! From their first surreal encounter until the very last, I was intrigued and drawn into their love affair. I loved the bucket list concept, the

Definitely relationship goals!!!!

**SPOILER ALERT** If Ms. Jones wasn't already one of my favourite authors this book would have definitely solidified her spot. This book hit home for me, I don't get to read about people who go through what I go through health wise, this illness far from fun. Shout out to you Ms. Jones for shinning a light on SCD, I was surprised and elated when I realized what was going on. Noah and Nick are definitely relationship goals and Nick is getting added to my list of

#ILovedIt!

From the scene at the airport I was hooked. Beautifully written and I love the characters Noah and Nick's story. Nick gave a different insight of someone dealing with a chronic illness and finding love and some of the obstacles that relationship will Intel or go through. I also definitely got the message that communication is key in a relationship and sometimes we will think it's one thing because of our past relationships but it can really be not about us at all. #Relationship Goals!

This was a novella??!!

Well, CCJ has done it yet again. She's given us a beautiful love story, with lovable, relatable characters, that took me through all the emotions. I loved everything about this story, from the way they met (which was the cutest), to the way their relationship progressed, and everything in between. The story was full and rich and didn't feel at all like a novella.

Shine on, CCJ! Your writing continues to be top notch. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your gift

Omg

Mrs. Jones you gave my chills. Nick and Noah, might be my favorite book by you and this is saying a lot! Noah is tough, sassy and not looking for love. Nick is strong, but so sweet. He has a medical condition that makes women run away. When he kisses her in an airport it it sets up #realtioshipgoals. Can they make it work with his sickness and her past? Mrs. Jones you made me teary for all the right reasons. I felt the love pouring out of this book. I easily could have read another ten

Friends and Strangers

This story began with the usual unique flair by this author. Mrs Jones has grown tremendously from the first book to the 30+ books to date. In this story readers met another strong black woman who knew just what she wanted in her life. Noah was a nutritionist and motivational speaker. Nick was an independent filmmaker. When she and Nick bumped into one another, and shared a brief yet passionate kiss, neither knew one kiss would evolve into a magical relationship. This was

Well Done

I don't usually purchase books, but after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance on this title. I have read numerous books by this author and once again she didn't disappoint. I loved the story line and the main characters. This story seemed so real and not some fairy tale that us book worms like to get lost in while reading. Job well done. Maybe we can catch up with them in another book probably one with Arizona or Sav.

I loved her name

I have to say I was thrown off at first when I seen the name Noah at the beginning. I liked that. This was a great story. Nick was a great guy who took crazy risks, but wasn't too keen on giving his heart away. It was refreshing to see Noah was willing and Nick was cautious. Nick's situation was unexpected, but it was a welcomed development that not a lot of stories tackle. I would love to read more about them!

Started with a kiss

I absolutely loved this read! I am ridiculously curious about comes next because Im sure there will never be a dull moment between these two. I appreciate when authors take the opportunity to use their platform to educate readers and in this case on something that is near and dear to the African American community. I am more informed, more aware and better prepared having this insight. Great Job as always👍

Perfect Little Love Story

Ms Jones is great at crafting a love story, Ive read enough of them to be confident in saying that. She writes fully formed characters who are complete persons before they meet their happily ever afters. She writes two complete persons growing together, sharing, encouraging one another while falling in love.

This is a particularly sweet story. Its perfect cold weather, cozy up with a warm story material.

Goals

Noah and Nick were two of a kind. They both had an art that made people fall in love with them. Though Nick suffered with his illness, Noah made sure to ease the pain away. I thought how they met were so adorable idc if they were just strangers lol but my favorite scene was when Nick bought Noah her birthday gift and she went into detail explaining why she loved it so much I was touched and smiled the whole time. Noah and Nick were definitely goals

Got my life with this one

I was not ready for the profoundness of this book. I always think of novellas as these quick and light stories. This one had me rethinking my approach to things in my own life. The love was beautiful as it often is with Mrs. Jones. I also liked the little detour back to the serendipitous neighborhood. I'm guessing Dani's or Savion's story is next. Either way, I'm excited!

Good Ole Bucket List!!

Relationship Goals is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. This book was selected by me from a blurb I read in a blind date with a book. I was not disappointed at all and intend to read more by this author. Nick was very brave at the chance he took in the airport, not sure how that would of went in real life, but I am glad Noah gave it a chance.

Beautiful, Absolutely Beautiful!

This story was so loving and beautiful. Nick, I fell in love with immediately, but Noah, omg, loved her honesty, her love of herself, and her desire to help other women love themselves. I loved that Nick was so concerned about opening his heart for someone who because of his issues, would not do the same for him. Whew, Christina you get better and better. I loved this book!
