Holy Smokes! (hee hee, see what I did there?) Fierian encompasses all the things you love about the Abiassa’s Fire series. The characters. Prophecy. Fights. Mystery. and Romance.

Seriously, this book has it all and one cannot help but try and devour it in one setting. It was impossible for me to do, because I was taking my time, letting the details sink in from the Nine. And my number one thought while reading this was: why isn’t this a movie? Seriously, anyone have contacts in the film industry?

Fierian was an amazing conclusion to this powerful fantasy series! I highly recommend reading all three books in order, otherwise you will not know what is going on! I also suggest that you have the next book in the series ready to go for when you finish each story. You are going to want to know what happens next as quickly as possible!

The author did a fantastic job creating this fantasy realm. I was definitely pulled into this story of ultimate good vs evil, truth vs lies, and power vs sacrific

At last!!! It has been quite a wait for this final book in the Abiassa’s Fire trilogy, but it is finally here, and every bit as fantastic as I was expecting it to be. If only it wasn’t the end! I’m really not ready to let go of these characters yet. Two in particular... But more on that in a minute.

I said it in my review for the previous book in this series, but it bears saying again: Boy, can this gal write! And it’s not just the words themselves; it’s everything they give life to—the character

A good book is one which ignites deep emotions and feelings in you; so much so that when you finish the book you can’t think about anything but the book, and what you experienced.
Some of the most treasured classic books which have this ability are by JR Tolkien’s, The Lord of the Ring Series and CS Lewis’s, Chronical of Narnia Series. These books bring about questions and lessons which we can apply to our lives today while painting a captivating and compelling story.

Engaging. Heartfelt. Stunning imagery. Battle of good verses evil...this epic conclusion to Abiassa’s Fire is good beyond words. Stepping into book #3 without reading “Embers” and “Accelerant” would be akin to starting in the middle of “Lord of the Rings” by Tolkien. You would be lost and lose too much backstory. Plus, it is an amazing series! I found I had to go back through the last book to stay on top of the characters, relationships and landmarks. The first part took me a bit to catch on as ...more

Fierian would've reached 5 stars for me because it is complexly written, thought up and beautiful, with unique and compelling characters. Everything Kendig writes is just mind-bogglingly creative and epic. Only reason it didn't is because...I WAS CONFUSED. So confused, for such a great portion of the book/series that I got frustrated that characters were being plopped in, left, right and centre, and they had no backstory.
Seeing as that the names are all quite different, I couldn't keep track of

I'm going to try my best to do this book and the series justice here, so please bear with me.

I'm not a huge fan of the fantasy genre. It takes a story that is so mindbendingly epic to hold my attention, and such treasures are rare and precious finds.

I can count the number of such series' on less than two hands. But Abiassa's Fire and Fierian give me hope for more.

When I do discover such a novel, I get swept up into the world the author has created. I become completely invested in the outcome o

This review was so hard--I love Kendig and her Abiassa's Fire trilogy! Fierian switched focus from the protagonist to two side characters (as they were portrayed in the first two books), character reactions did not consistently ring true, and there were a couple sensual moments that didn't fit one of the character's moral compass (these scenes almost felt contrived, like someone told her to "up the rating"). This book just didn't always make sense overall to me. Despite that, Kendig is a super c ...more

A really good book is not only well written and creative, but also reaches off the pages into the reader’s reality. This book did that for me. I remember the exact moment when one of the main themes of the story hit me like a ton of bricks in the middle of my day. It was beautifully encouraging when I realized that Haegan’s struggles (and therefore his potential victories as well) were the same as mine. I’m always impressed when an author gets into my head, and Ronie Kendig did that big time. We ...more

This boooook. Oh my goodness. This book. I have loved this series so so much!! The heart of grace and passion that’s so evident in the writing just overflows and sticks with you. Like a hearty meal, there’s so much to take in and be nourished by. I’m in absolute love with the world and the characters. What a journey. I will be reading these again and giving them to everyone I can. I would go on on and except there would be spoilers. Suffice to say it’s a fabulous book and a well written trilogy. ...more

Fierian, a book I have eagerly been waiting for: the final installment of one massively complex series – almost too complex. I had a lot of difficulty starting into this book. Mostly because I could hardly remember who anyone was. There are a lot of odd and sometimes similar names in this book. There was a glossary, but it didn’t always give me enough information to remember what had happened involving those characters. I highly recommend that if you want to read Fierian, go back and read the la ...more

I think this author is a fantastic writer. She sure knows how to build suspense and then keep it on a slow boil. She's, also, good at tossing in some hot, yet clean-read, romance. This, her first fantasy series, is a highly believable winner with an epic climax. What a page turner; it took extreme will power to set this book down!
