The first story, the only one I read in this collection, was disjointed and full of grammar errors. The concept was interesting but I didn't find it very readable. All the errors kept throwing me out of the story.

Pretty good

Has a good storyline, each story being different enough too so the reader doesn’t get bored by the 3rd book. Some editing errors that can be overlooked.

Sorta ok but not really

I couldn't finish this series after book 1. I'll be honest, it's extremely hard for me to not finish a book once I've started. I have a misplaced sense of guilt/obligation to finish out of respect for the authors but I just couldn't do it this time. Mad respect for authors, I know writing is hard but... I hated the fmc. I see where it should've gone but I was left hating the character. Instead of strong she was childish, weak, immature . Drugging the alpha because she didn't get her way? Should her name have been Karen because seriously she was the worse. I don't want to give it away but honestly I'm shocked the series got as many high remarks. The plot was rushed and really nothing more than scenes. This scene ends, no transition, this scene now. Look we've jumped days! Now it's weeks and what? Never once did she think to question the answers she was getting from the person she compared to her previous abuser and seriously that last scene? Suddenly they're like hell yea we'll do that! Um... no. No. Just no. The alpha kinda sucked too . He came off as whiny instead of put together. Just told her no without explaining the dangers. Just... I'm nearly talking myself into taking another star away but it's not as bad as some I've read. This book needs some tlc but it's got potential.

Wow what a brilliant box set

Completely loved this box set from the start with Darian and Clara who climbed the wall and got to see how the shifters where like and Darian found his life time mate in Clara then Killian who swore he’d never have a lifetime mate found Angeline who has visions of the future. Angeline sees a vision that Errol will see his life time mate again Onyx but with his twin brother was tortured he was left with bad scars on his face and neck off the pocket they used to torture him. Ian hates that his family look on to see how his face is healing he prefers to spend time in the human town as they don’t look at his scars they have enough of their own this is where he finds Nora but she has come to bring the pack down but has a change of heart when she realises the pack have feelings and are not vicious like others. Victor has a lifetime mate Nichola but they where separated years ago when he got flung out of their pack. Angeline has a vision that victor needs to find Nicole and bring her back as she is being used by another pack and this will destroy them.

>Book review – A Rizer Wolfpack series
>I am an independent reviewer. This set contains all 5 books in the Rizer Wolfpack series, with all the books ending in an HEA. Each book in this series is very similar, plot-wise. The stories take place in a time period where shifters are known to humans. Why humans decided to act like the earth is post-apocalyptic is never addressed.
>The main theme in all of the books is prejudice and how to overcome it. The characters are fun to get to know, but their reasons for prejudice are not addressed either. This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this set 3 stars. More could have been done with the plots and character development. Too much of the plot was given to a “Seer” and just told to the reader, with no surprises along the way.

Great stories, well done Amelia!

Believable characters, challenges fillBelievable characters, challenges filled each book. Overcoming each challenge to build a life was not what you expect. Well wrtten and refreshing reads. The books flowed right into each other. No cliffhangers HEA & the ending was well thought out & a nice surprise . it's a book that showed each book. I enjoyed reading this series!

First I will say I understand what other reviewers were complaining about when they spoke of the editing. It is true, the editing desperately needed some work, but the stories more than made up for it in my opinion. I have read a number of books that are horrible in editing and storyline, but each of the four books in this series had a different story with different enemies and contained a Alpha male lead and strong female lead as well.

To the author, I would gladly review your books and aid in editing.

This is a fun quick read.

There are a lot of grammatical errors that for me took away from the story and flow of the books.

I think the stories had a lot of great ideas, but just need to be spit cleaned up a bit.

While I enjoyed them, I didn’t love them. Each book had something that annoyed me or took away from the story.

All that being said. I read these when I just wanted to relax, not overly think, and get a quick PNR fix between all my dark contemporary ARCs. This did just the trick and was what I needed.

Good story but...

The stories themselves were quite enjoyable. HOWEVER there are quite a few editing issues that really take you out of the moment. From the occasional punctuation error, to calling people by the wrong names (at one point Nora is called Alexandra and on more than one occasion Onyx's cousin is called Vlad instead of his name (starts with a P can't remember how to spell it))
There is also some weird inconsistency with past tense versus prestent tense, and the PoV jumps from 3rd person to first person and back again.

Good plot but it hasn’t been edited

The stories are interesting and the characters are likeable. The problem is the editing has not been done, which is very distracting. The tense changes from past to present and back again. Most of the story will be in third person point of view and then for part of a paragraph be in first person. Where there should be a comma, a period is used instead. The quotation marks seem to be randomly thrown in. Character names are not consistent, and the list goes on. This is typical of this author, both the good plot and the terrible editing.

Hmmm

There was such promising plots in each novel but then they became repetitive. Male finds untrusting female, sleeps with her in some form or fashion, something bad happens, then all is well again. Seriously, after the first novel and a bit of the beginning of the second novel, I started to skip to the end for the rest. But really though, this author needs a new editor as the story about Nora and Ian, Cara was called Cora. Kinda funny, sorry.

Love the shifter reads, and this was a good start to the new year. 5 shifter stories, with different couples finding love within the Rizer Pack. Each book was about each couple but all characters took part making a really good series. Good plots, stories and characters, and a good finale. My only negative is the grammatical errors, there were quite a few making the sentences fall out of sync. Getting past that these make good reading and I did enjoy this box set.

Good series. Bad editing.

I'll be honest here: the story lines and the tie ins between each group are great. The editing however, could be much better. Incorrect names that make a nonsense of the sentence they're in; bad grammar, and spelling mistakes let the series down for me. One character Cara, was called Cora for almost one complete book in this series. Otherwise very good plotlines. Good character descriptions too. Worth a read.

I did not care for writing style of this series. The timing and pace is strange. So much time is spent laying the groundwork of the main characters, but then the climactic parts are hurried and rushed. The sex scenes are over-the-top and gratuitous; they do not "match up" with the two characters involved. The resolution is short and abrupt. Boom! Then you are into the next book of the series.

I did enjoy the character development; they had a great deal of potential.

Good stories, but...

I liked the stories, but I'm a former English teacher and proofreader. If not for my OCD, I couldn't have finished such poorly proofread and edited material. The books seem to have been originally written in first person/present tense, then partially changed to third person/narrative past tense. I spent more time making corrections than actually reading the stories.

Fairly good story line

The story line is good, poor editing and proof reading ruin books 2 thru 5. So bad almost didn’t bother reading them.

The story line is very very similar to another series of books I read.

Those giving rave reviews for these books are doing the author a grave injustice.b my $ to us q
I She needs better beta readers.

The story line went from third person narrative to first person to a sounding like my 5 year old granddaughter when we play pretend.

Great stories

I chose this rating because each book tied into a family bonding feature with common goals but complete different stories and paths to accomplish a way to deal with evil and to promote goodness. Some of the sex scenes were unnecessarily long and repetitive especially when the reader is trying to get back into the gist of the action to find out what happens next.
I would definitely recommend this book to adults only. Good read!

Love it

The story, characters, plot and seeing are great. But I've read several grammatical and typographical errors, even mentioning to Wyoming character name that I can't completely immerse myself in the story.
It just needs abut of editing and I'm sure it'll be even better.
I can't decide which couple is my favorite and that's a good thing.

Good story

I enjoyed the story line. The characters were well developed. But the mistakes in grammar, tense, and computer error were very distracting. The work needs a group of good proofreaders to go over it to clear the mistakes. With a little bit of work this could be an excellent collection.

The entire series is very good!

I liked how each book in the series focused on one set of characters, get still moved the theme of the series forward. However it is riddled with poor editing and proofreading; Missing words, mixed verb tenses, wrong word usage , etc. If you can overlook these things it is a great fun read!

Love It

Wow this is the first time I read about this author and let me just say that I love her writing. I could not out down this box set. I felt in love with the first book all the way to the last one. I love each couple and couldn't have enough. Can't wait to read more of her books

Very good series

This was a good series. It's a complete series. The series starts off with wolfs and humans but slowly shows you a few other shifters. It's everyone fighting and trying to fight for peace through love. I would reread this series and other books by this author. There are several grammatical errors, but not enough to intervene with the stories. 6 stories

Shifter Apocalypse

I loved this game on post-apocalyptic world and shifter romance. I loved it.

Character development and world building up to a happy ending for all= A+.

It was all over before I knew it. Way too short. I wish I'd seen more glimpse into before. I loved it and can't wait to read this author's other series.

I liked it a lot

Other then some typos and in the 4th book calling Cara , Cora near the end of the book which is just a petpeve of mine. I loved the primis of it and I think their could of been more world building but the story easy to the point which is something I personally dont mind.

DNF 13%

I really wanted to look past the issues with this book because the premise was unique but the poor writing quality just made that impossible.

There are grammatical errors, missing words, and POV mistakes throughout.

Most annoying is the actual writing. The prose is a play by play of what happens. All tell and zero show. Just no skill in making the prose sing.

Shifter life

This series was fantastic. I fell in love with so many characters and followed them throughout the book as they worked through their problems. I also ranted at the bad guys. Each shifter's story was incredible. They each had to overcome giant obstacles to get the life they wanted. Lots of action and heat.

The River Wolfpack series

It was an enjoyable series. Flowed well with good storylines. The sex was a bit to much at times. Would have preferred less sex and more story. And there were some editing Issues. I would be cruising along and come to a complete stop while trying to figure out a sentence.

Outstanding

This series was very enjoyable to read. The Rizer Pack had beliefs and they stuck together and stay together like a family suppose to do. Having family is truly a Blessing. Rizer Wolf pack accept others and accomplish things other couldn't do and it brought Peace to the WORLD
