The Bible is a form of divine communication meant to lead us into a deeper relationship with God according to David Watson in this book. The book is founded on solid scholarship but accessible to any Christian reader. This volume would make an excellent basis for a small-group study on the nature of the Bible. I highly recommend this book.

This book is meant to inspire a person to seek out the depths of scripture and the many ways to engage it through the Spirit. Great read for the ordinary person.

Much more transformative than I expected. Chapter 4 contained the biggest surprise for me as I was convicted about the expectations I have of God. Great book and I highly recommend it.
