I’m living with a ghost.

I’m in a place I never thought I’d be: adrift in a sea of confusion and unfulfilled dreams. My life, my career, my marriage.

When my husband, Dan, asks me to join him on an island for an extended work project, I hope it will be enough to salvage our relationship.

So I go. Then Dan gets pulled away for his job, and I'm left alone in this unfamiliar pl

description This book was so impressive for a debut novel. It was beautiful. It was original. It was heartbreaking. It was sweet. It was romantic. It was fantastically well written. The pace was very good. The plot was so engaging and imaginative. I loved Jos and hope she gets a HEA of her own. I am not sure how I feel about Dan. Most of the book I just felt like he was a very self-centered douche, but I also think he did genuinely love Ros. It was complicated. I adored Archer though. He was so sweet. So

A pretty unimaginative read given the plot and all the directions and scenes that could have occurred. It felt like a marriage falls apart and heroine Netflix and chills with ghost then gets an hea ...

Wow! This story was amazing! Beautifully written and unique! I loved this book! This was unlike anything I've ever read. The chemistry between these characters was intense and I loved the connection between them. From the moment you meet the hero of this story, you'll wonder how this can ever work out. I had no idea where this story was going to go or what was going to happen - how would I ever get a HEA that I would be happy with? This author did an amazing job of bringing the this story togeth ...more

GAH!!!! So freaking good!!! Yes!! This is how a debut book should be written!! I’m so freaking excited for everyone to read this book!! I am in love with finding new authors and this new author BLEW MY MIND!!! I love a good paranormal book but I haven’t read many that has all of my undivided attention to where I lose track of myself. Things would happen in my life but I wasn’t sure if it actually happened or if it was a moment in the book that I thought was my own.

Ros (Rosalind) was everything

What can I say about this book... man oh man what a beautiful read. The fact that this is Cece's debut novel is astonishing to say the least. The imagery I got while reading this book was stunning. I felt like I was walking along side Ros through everything, almost like I was watching things as they happened. There are very few books that are able to give you that beautiful visual ams this book did not disappoint one bit in that area. The relationship between Ros and Archer is classic yet modern ...more

I cannot believe this was a debut novel. It was absolutely fantastic. The storyline was well written and addicting from page one. I found Ros to be so relatable to me in many ways that I felt as though it was my life I was reading (between mother, father or moving away from it all). The emotions were all over the place and I loved how the characters were so relatable. Everyone deserves their happiness no matter what the cost and what she found with Archer is absolute magic. I cannot wait to wait ...more

Wow! This book was incredible and I am stunned that it's a debut novel. It was heartbreaking and yet so breathtakingly brilliant. The characters were so believable and the story was perfectly paced. I don't want to give too much away as it's the kind of story that you should discover on your own but it's a beautifully written book that will give you all the feels!

Definitely recommend!

This book was simply stunning. I am speechless. Paranormal romance isn’t my thing, but this book was sincerely EVERYTHING.

This book was truly moving, in a way I can only say that you have to read it to experience it. The writing was so visual that it reads like a movie - and the emotion this book evokes, while overwhelming at times - proves to be cathartic for many readers I'm sure. The Prologue & Epilogue were so touching and unexpected - truly a game changer. For anyone worrying about a paranormal romance being believable - DON'T. The story leaves enough to crave a sequel - for a debut book a can only imagine ...more

The h and her husband have shifted to a new place for his work purpose. He works on some secret project and he is always away. They hardly spent time together. We can see that she comes second to his career. She is also getting bored and paranoid day by day.

“I realized we were nearing a breaking point. The cracks in our foundation were becoming fissures, and I was holding on to the hope this time together would repair them before the damage became irreparable.”

Already the h is sad after her moth

This was a really beautiful love story. It was different and I think that’s what drew me in. It is paranormal-ish but it didn’t feel that way. Yes there was a ghost but it was so much more then that. I loved Ros and Archer. They were amazing by them selves but together just epic. I don’t really want to go into too many details of the story because it would spoil but when you read the blurb you will get an overall feel for the story.

With this story I had the giggles, my heart broke, the author d

When Ros agrees to move with her husband Dan to a somewhat remote island for his job, she hopes that this will be the thing that enables them to reconnect in their relationship. Things do not work quite as planned, and Dan ends up spending way too much time away from home. I must say, for quite a while I was rooting for this couple to finally get it together and rekindle their love. At the same time, Ros is noticing some strange happenings in the historic house they are staying in. This part of ...more

It was a fantastic PNR debut novel...The
author did an amazing job with this book.
It flowed well and it intrigued me, also making you
feel like you were there. I think that we need a little
more info on all the characters...e.g. What the heck
was Dan doing, and who was his boss, and what's with
all the secrecy..?? I want to know how they lived HEA
with him being a ghost?? And more on the bff, she was
definitely interesting.
Well it was definitely an original plot for me. It was
heartbreaking at times &

Wow what a wonderful book. This was Cece's debut book and it blew me away. It was full of love, warmth and so much amazing emotion. You can tell the author really wanted this book to be perfect when it was released. I was amazed. Plus I loved the characters and the depth of them. Job well done!

Arc was kindly given in exchange for an honest review.

Simply the best

I've read a lot of novels and I have to say it was hands down the best I've ever read. I even shed some tears. I'm always looking for something different and this was definitely it. Amazing.

This book was beyond amazing!! It was the perfect angsty little ghost story to satisfy both your sweet and spooky sides. A definite must read. These characters are multidimensional and the story is complex. I loved every minute! I could not put this book down.

Cece Ferrell wrote her first short story at the age of eight and has had a passion for the written word ever since. She developed a love for romance while pregnant with her first daughter, though admits the love affair likely began when she started sneaking her mom's Danielle Steel novels at the ripe old age of twelve. An intense fascination with stories from the past, art history, and history led
