Jag and Ivy are one crazy couple. They grew up in the mc family. Jag loves Ivy and she loves him however she fighting it. She knows what comes with being an ol'lady and even though it's an honor she don't wanna be anyone's property. Can Jag convince her and show her his love?? Will they over come the trouble headed their way and find peace?? Read and find out how one sexy alpha shows what it means to be a badass biker who loves.

This book was a mess and for most of it Ivy was a complete unlikeable bitch.
She was brought up in the DAMC but doesn’t want to be the property of any man. Plus she knows how the club views and treats women. She’s attracted to Zak but he’s taken. She’s also got a thing for Jag but treats him like crap through most of the book.
She complains about the women Jag has but then has a revolving door on her bedroom.

We’re also told repeatedly how smart she is. Yes she went to colle
Alright, this book wasn't well thought out at all. I'm going to outline why so my rating makes sense which might be spoilery but whatever.

1. Ivy (heroine) was born into the MC, is a "member" weather she likes it or not. Mostly she loves the MC. What she has a problem with is the misogynistic mindset of the male members.

Contradiction: Ivy has had a "crush" on the ex "Prez" Zak her entire life and would have banged him/tossed her "no bikers" rule aside in a heartbeat had he been down

A great second installment of the Dirty Angels MC series. I love Ivy's strength, brains and determination to NOT become an Ol' Lady. She wants more for herself. She wants more for Jag. Their chemistry is hot and real and the sex is steaming. It took me a while to warm up to Jag, but in the end, he won me over and I was rooting for them. Anxiously awaiting the next book... come on, JSJ, give me Diesel, you know I want Diesel!

****I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntar
Jag and Ivy are club kids, born and raised in the club environment. They're not teenagers, they're late twenties. He's always loved her and, to be honest, I couldn't tell if she's always loved him. I don't think so. He really grovels. That's not to say he's done anything wrong to grovel for. Yes, he had sex with a club ho before they committed but she had a steady stream of guys (non-bikers) in and out of her bed. He pursues her until he really lost all of his self respect. She came across as a ...more

I am going to say it…. MC books are usually not my cup of tea because of the male standard, some authors do it and can do it well. Jeanne St. James is one of them I loved this book!

Ivy doesn’t want to be claimed nope no way. (You go girl) She fights her feelings only because she knows it’s a man’s world so to speak in the MC but her heart feel before she did and Jag was just too irresistible.

Also for me, I don’t like drama for the sake of drama so this book was perfect nothing felt forced, the

drew me in and kept my attention. I really love Ms. St James’s style of writing, she packs such a punch into her characters.
Jag and Ivy are so meant to be together. Jag has wanted her forever and is frustrated when she refuses to commit to him. All she wants is a physical relationship. I loved how Ivy was feisty

Jag is book two of the DAMC....I enjoyed this story; main characters were interesting and their storyline was perfect. Ivy is stubborn, demanding and listens to know one. Jag has loved Ivory for years and he finally steps up to make his claim. Ivy will fight him every step but she cant seem to resist his charms.
Things are getting crazy for DAMC...rival clubs want their territory and DAMC is preparing for war.
Overall if you haven't read Down & Dirty...Jag I suggest you get
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Love. Love. Love. Jag and Ivy are an intense heat. Erotic passion and heat with a bite of danger.

Ivy had her taste of MC life and she had no plans on going back in to it to be someone whore or ol’ lady. But there was something about Jag that tempted her. Jag dreamed of only one woman. She just so happens to want nothing to do with the MC. Now, Jag on the other hand seems to stir something hot, primal within her. She does what she vowed not to do.

Jag and Ivy together was passion, hea

This is the second book of the "Dirty Angels MC" and all I can say is that I want a Dirty Angel of my own! I really felt like I was sitting in a room watching as the well written story was unfolding between the characters! I totally felt engaged with Jag and Ivy as the story continued to progress as I turned each page! I thought that Zak was my book boyfriend, however, Jag is where it's at!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I really liked this one. Jag and Ivy. .... and Jag's secret was awesome

Growing up in the club, Ivy was determined to NOT be an old lady and dated anyone but a biker. Jag had been eyeing Ivy for some time, but until one night he got everything he wanted only for it to be over the next day. There is a lot of push and pull between these two. We get some more drama with the MC in the continuing story line arc.

I will definitely read more of this series

it is as the name implies ... down & dirty. it is essentially a romance set in the mc world ... heavy on the bad boy and sassy girl. not a lot of story just the who we are, how we got here and where to we go from here ... but i loved it

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
A must read if you enjoy a hard core biker romance. This one has it all, romance, suspense, thrill and an independent woman that doesn’t want to fall for the bad boy. This book will keep you up way past your bedtime!

DNF 30%

Not as much fun as the first book. A lot of baggage between these characters and a lot of setting up relationships for other books.

This is where this series ends for me I'm afraid.

Enjoyed even more than the 1st! Well written series 2date, w great characters & storyline - Highly Recommend

For adults only (18+ years old)

I am really enjoying this series, although it can be tough to watch the females have to deal and / or fight the roles and stereotypes of misogynist males, but the storyline and overall plot is enough that I can write it off and enjoy the story. This wouldn't be the case if the male characters underneath it all weren't loving, caring and protec

This is another installment of the MC crew of DAMC. This story covers the relationship between Ivy and Jag. These two have been striking sparks off of each other forever. Ivy while attracted to Jag doesn’t want to become a biker’s lady. She despises how the crew treats them as useless ornaments. Jag would love nothing more than to make Ivy his, however he knows that her family would probably end hi
I just finished the book, and unfortunately, I've already started to forget it. It's not that it's bad, it's just very...

First, we have Ivy. Although a better heroine than Sophie in the first book, she's still not that great. She just goes back and forth between trying to prove she's not DAMC property and separating herself from that lifestyle and then hanging out at "church" all the time and trying to help the club.

And Jag, he's nice and all, but not really hard or tough like you'd expect a hero in a MC romance to be. He's really just a big ol' softy.

I wanted a bit more of this:

But he felt a bit too much like this:

I did like this book more than the first one, but it definitely feels more like biker-lite. It's not really gritty or tough. And like the first book, there were some interesting plot points that just weren't developed as well as they could have been. If more time had been spent on Ivy's "mission" to get info about the other club, for example, I think this book could have gone in a better direction and Ivy could have become a better character. And, honestly, the fight thing at the end seemed so out of place. It would have fit much better in the first book, which really needed some kind of ending and didn't have one.

So, did I love it? No. Will I continue with the series? Yeah, sure. It's enjoyable, just not super awesome amazing.

This is the second book in the series and just WOW! Ivy is a strong woman who was raised in the MC and is well acquainted with the ramifications of becoming a biker’s old lady. It is something that she has made her mission to avoid at all costs. There is only one hitch, she is highly attracted to Jag and made the mistake once of sleeping with him while under the influence. Jag has known Ivy since she was a teen and has been crazy for her. However he knows that she is not ready to give herself to ...more

As the name implies, this book is down and dirty! Ivy was born into the DAMC, but has a real problem with the roles women play in the club. Set not to be an "Old Lady" she does her best to ignore the advances Jag makes on her. They have known each other forever, and Jag is ready to stake his claim. But will Ivy be willing to give him more than friends with benefits? I love this series. Jeanne St James has created a group of strong alpha men, which is impossible not to fall for, but I have to say ...more

One drunken night Ivy dragged Jag into her bed, an action she now regrets. Jag has been in love with her for years & she gave him hope they could work. But Ivy was raised in the MC and cannot stand how they treat woman. The last thing she wants is a club member, so she has been busy dating geeks & nerds but it hasn't been working out for her.
Jag just wants Ivy & he won't take no for an answer. Ivy protests and she is often a raging bitch to him but that just seems to get him ho

There's a lot to like in this book. Some of the dialogue is absolutely hilarious ("Hold my beer." "Nothing good ever comes of that saying'."). Jag is a wonderful alpha male - strong, silent and dedicated to the club. The scene where he ramps himself up to violence against a rival club is really well handled. I could feel the rising adrenaline.
Ivy as a character was tougher to like. She's spirited and independent, like Sophie in the previous book, but I didn't feel she had much love to give

I voluntarily reviewed and advanced reader copy of this book. Another amazing addition to this series. I loved Jag and Ivy. Ivy is stubborn, feisty and set in her ways and no way anyone is going to change her mind about what she wants or doesn’t want. One night, one bad drunken decision and Ivy and Jag have their night together and neither can forget about it. For Ivy no one is even coming close to measuring up to Jag and all Jag wants is her. Jag headstrong, knows what he wants and he wants Ivy ...more

Ivy was born into the Dirty Angels MC. All she's ever wanted was to find a nice normal guy, one that won't treat her like property. Jag has been wanting Ivy for a long time and he even gets her one night after they both had been drinking. Ivy wants to forget it and stick to the geeks and nerds she usually dates. She definitely doesn't want to belong to Jag, cause he is part of the MC and she doesn't want

Great second book in the series. Jag was a harda$$ biker breathing and living DAMC in every minute of his life. But he also was a guy deeply in love with Ivy thus capable to put up with her absolute need for independence. There was a hard lesson Ivy had to learn though. It doesn't matter if you fight tooth and nails, you simply can't ignore love. After realising the fight against her feelings was pointless Ivy took a leap of faith, gave up a good dose of her pride and accepted her fate of loving ...more

OMG Jag and Ivy story has set a new bar for MC stories. Ivy is stubborn and very independent and does what and who she wants. Ivy was raised in the gang she knows how the women are treated and she is not having any to do with the brothers. Jag has loved Ivy since they were kid and now that he has finally got a taste for her he is not letting go. Jag and Ivy are like a time bump waiting to explode and when they get together man is it dangerous. Jag knows what Ivy needs he knows how much her indep ...more

Down & Dirty: Jag Dirty Angels MC is the second book by Jeanne St James. The series continues with a new couple Jag and Ivy who we met in the 1st novel, but the underlying story continues in this book.
This couple was meant to be together. Their chemistry was intense, their steamy scenes hott and they just fit together perfectly. I loved Jag through out the story. I loved Ivy's feistiness and independence but I really disliked how she treated Jag.
The tale was well-written and well-pace
