My thought process: Okay, an interesting tex-mex-style recipe... "Chili powder or cumin"? I believe you mean AND. ...What? There's no garlic OR onion in this recipe?! If garlic and onion are bad for my cholesterol, we might as well give up and put me on Lipitor right now. Okay, here's an Italian-style recipe...with no basil or oregano. Were spices not discovered until the early 90's?
I'm sure the recipes are great for cholesterol, and if you actually know how to cook, they can be modified to be appealing, but, dang, this is pretty much the epitome of bland, boring, beany diet food.
