Donald Farr is a fantastic automotive author that has over 40 years of experience writing and photographing ford mustangs he has worked for many mustang publications and goes to Fords of Carlisle however I would highly recommend Donalds new book The Complete Book Of Classic Ford-Mercury Muscle Cars 1961-1973 to any ford or mercury enthuist and fan that loves the powerful and colorful muscle cars to come from Ford Motor Company wether it be a torino or a cougar or a mustang with a 428,429,351 or even a 302 ford and mercury produced some of the best cars for racing and for showroom compettion the best part about ford and mercury muscle cars is the history and there performance when compared to other muscle cars like the 1968 428 cobra jet mustang or the 428 eliminator cougar or even the boss 302 mustang and boss 351 mustang plus cars like the GT500 and GT350 and GT351 mustangs plus your more civilized mustangs like the straight six models and your grande mustangs and California specials plus the earlier models with a 260 V-8 and later 289 V-8 fords and mercurys muscle cars can pay homage to the earlier cars of the 1930s that came through the factory with a flathead V-8 and began the performance trend however if you love ford-mercury muscle cars and your looking for that ideal weekend cruiser to go to shows or to the race track this would be the best book on fords-mercurys muscle cars and I would highly recommend this book and give it TWO THUMBS UP .
