If you are planning a trip to Scandinavia and you want to make sure you hit all the must-see places, this is a great book. You won’t find anything off the beaten path but for my 11 days in 3 countries, I will stick to the standards.

preparing for a trip to Norway.

On comparing the maps of Oslo with Fodors, I like the colors used in this book light/shade green
somehow it makes things stand out more.

I got this book for my recent trip to Norway. It was better than the DK book but not as good as the Rick Steves one. Also, I actually read the 2023 edition but that one wasn’t listed in Goodreads.

Brief overviews of selected regions, mostly cities, in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, and Finland. More breadth than depth, but the maps should be helpful.
