The Coldest Love Ever

To me this was a good book. It caught my attention from the beginning to the end. I'm ready for the continuation......4 stars because it could've done a little less with "a nigga this a nigga that". It was a good read none the less!

OMG Sha of course you did it again. From the title, the beginning to the end you did your thing. From the first page you had me hooked and my heart went out to Madonna, I swear I wanted to reach into the book and grab her to give her some love because no one deserves that. When Regina did what she did that was a proud moment and I loved every minute of it. Wale on the other hand was involve with a crazy person who I don't wish on no one. I was so ready for Wale to bring out his savage ways to show Dreka that just because he changed don't mean you could treat him however. Dreka made me want to come through the book and struggle her myself, pregnant with a baby or not she was just down right crazy and needs to be taken care of. I'm so ready for part 2 because I just know its gone be good. Excellent job Sha Jones!!!

OMG I really loved this book
This book about Wales and Madonna struggles and pain. Dreaka crazy baby mama from hell would stoop so low to keep a father from his kids so she can control him and his life because he has moved on with his life. It starts off with Madonna getting raped by her own father at sixteen her stepmother Regina killed him and went to jail for 12 years to protect the girls from harm. Madonna had a hard live her mother pretty much left her on her own the state took her and separated her siblings. Then she ending up becoming a stripper and ended in a abusive possessive relationship with crazy Chauncey who she felt like she deserved to be mistreated because that was ever relationship she ended being abuse in some type of way. Then she meets Wale Willis at the stripped clubs and talk to him for hours she had a connection with him and she didn't have with any other man. She didn't think he would ever see him again she went to get sorry women beater Chauncey from the barbershop. Which Wale owns he heard a commotion outside in front of his shop. Chauncey was hitting Madonna he recognized her from the club and tried to intervene and told not to put his hands on her again then Larenz was Wales best friend he got in the passenger seat and beat her and accused of cheating with Wale and took her car for 3 days. Meanwhile Wales baby mother Dreaka left him and told him the twins weren't his she was with. her side dude after he proposed to her. To add insult to injury she kept his kids away from devastated him she like playing games with his head and heart she was extremely jealous and vindictive and manipulating . Dreaka set him up and had drugs in his car he was arrested and in jail she also accused him of touching his girls their only two years old. Meanwhile he goes and check on Madonna to see she alright Chauncey comes to Madonna apartment she confronts him he starts to attack her Wales steps in a whoops his tail and put him out of her apartment he saw Chauncey putting his hand on her it angered him so he almost killed him. Madonna and Wales started talking on the phone and just good friend Wale stopped answering his phone a Dreka didn't like that so she went back home trying to trap him get money from him. She didn't count on him get with another woman she noticed the changes and glow in his eyes she know someone else had his attention she definitely didn't like that she was extremely jealous and wanted his attention. Wale was getting to know Madonna she was different from any woman he ever met he was getting to know her she was emotionally damaged by controlling abusive toxic relationships. Wale treated Madonna with respect and listen to what she was saying he told her about his baby mama Dreka immature self. Wale mother Shelia couldn't stand her Dreka because she wasn't good enough for her son and she was a gold digger conniving vindictive person who had some screws loose. Wale and Madonna relationship was developed slowly he treated her well she was use to abusive relationship. Then his mother did a DNA test on the twins Dreka took the twins again . She didn't like Wales ignoring her and use the babies to make him feel guilty. Wale and Madonna get closer and starts dating he developed feels for her she the one he wants to be with. Wale files for full custody for his daughter she also pregnant with his son she pissed that file court papers on her. Madonna and Wales have a intimate relationship he said key words that have and affect remind her of the rape she endured. From her father she freaked out she ended tell him about a private things she hasn't even told her family she felt comfortable with Wale he felt a strong connection with Madonna. Dreka tried to sabotage Wale she didn't want him to get custody of the kids she was playing to many games and obstacles in his path and life. I didn't understand why she would fake a rapes of her own kids to cause him to lose custody of his kids that he would do anything for them because she couldn't accept the fact he was in love with someone else and he take care of his kids. Wale won custody of his kids and Dreka was pissed and hate him she tried to shot him and got arrested for assault and goes to jail. Dreka and her mother Margaret are two miserable women he love causing problems. What kinda of mother devious plan to set up ex-fiancee to accuse him of molestation charges to cause him lose custody when she doesn't even want her kids. Why would you go thru such lengths to sabotage his reputation and play with his freedom because you are bitter and unstable. Because she think this will break him he a good father why do this mean mess hurting your kids because he has someone new and you rather he miserable and unhappy.

Man I am trying...am really trying to give this author a chance!!!
Ok, so I am on my second series from this author and really trying to give her a chance but it is very hard. Is story is a slight better than the first series that I have read "thug loving from a white boy" but it's so hard because my issues of her main male characters acting like a softy, sissy boy, mama's boy, cry baby while the female main character is playing the Martyr, victim, low self-esteem and letting people walk all over them is so strong and so present, that I still can't figure out why can't one become strong in her books.
As of now, even though this is the first book, and I am trying to keep an open mind, it's putting me in a bad boring disinterested mind frame to give it another chance...but will push thru... Did started it out with a 3 1/2 stars so let's see...

Quick read but...
The book had some missing words and some sentences out of order, which although is common in most ebooks I read, I still dislike when that happens. The book is a quick read, it flows, but the storyline is nothing new basic without depth. This book probably would hold a young teen's attention. I started to say that only reads these types of books, however, there are tons of books in this genre that are outstandingly written. However, for an avid reader, no.
I also felt that the book ended too quickly. By the way, where is the info for part 2?
On a last note, congratulations to the author for her accomplishment! If she uses less than stellar reviews constructively, while working on her craft, she will grow in her literary skills.

A Very Emotional Charged Read.
From the very beginning I knew that the author was going to have me on a emotional rollercoaster. Madonna had been dealt a very bad hand in life starting at a very early age beginning with her father and the abusive men in her life. Then she meets Wale a good man that only want to raise his kids and be a good man to her. But Wale kids mother Dreka whom is total unhinged psycho is making it a point to make Wale life a living hell even though she doesn't want him, she doing everything she can to destroy him even if it means mentally and physically harming her own kids. I can't wait for the next installment of this must read series.

Full Of Drama
I couldn't do anything but shake my head at the mess Madonna was dealing with her relationship with Chauncy and the mess Wale was dealing with when it came to his trifling baby momma Dreka. Madonna had a traumatic childhood that affected her well into adulthood. One chance meeting set her free but there was still drama. Wale was going through hell dealing with Dreka being vindictive and conniving. Dreka was low down and dirty for the stunts she was pulling although she put herself in the situation she was in. I didn't ty think she could stoop any lower. However her bitter behind proved me wrong. I can't wait for part two.

This was a different type of read. It had things like rape, pedophilia and fatal attraction going on. My issue with the story was with Wale. He was way to soft of a man supposedly having been in the streets. I felt like he was doing too much crying and he seemed like a mama's boy too. It's one thing to be sensitive but he was a little too soft. Dreaka saw his kindness as a weakness and took advantage of it. It wasn't hard. I felt bad for the babies because she really didn't want them and she's nuts. I hope Wale gets free of her and makes it with Madonna. Also, Wales should've taken care of Chauncey because I'm thinking he'll be back. So far the story is good.

I read this for inspiration as I was hired to write a similar story. This is your typical hood romance story and for the most part it’s enjoyable. I got a sense that it’s the writers first book and for that I was willing to overlook many of the books pitfalls.
Even though the author is still developing her writing style, she does a great job creating characters that you begin to care about.
The story ends on a cliffhanger and then at the end we’re presented with a short story with different characters. I could tell that the author’s writing had improved significantly during the short story, making me think the sequel to Coldest Love Ever will be way better.

Crazy
Unbelievable. I have to be honest the beginning almost mad me stop reading. Twice I actually did stop and didn't get back to the book for days. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. It deals with some serious issues. I give it to the author her approach was on point. She highlighted quite a few issues that most often sweep under the rug. So glad that Madonna was able to find a real man and get away from Chauncey and his simple minded self. Wale was exactly what she needed to help her build her self esteem back up and see her worth. Dreka is just a special brand of crazy.

Madonna, Wale, and Dreka
Let me start off by saying, I hope Dreka dies. Secondly, this is the first book I've read in a long time that had me ready to smack the author for the sequel. The title is what drew me in initially, and the character's names made me want to read it, and the plot...well, clearly I have it five stars. This is definitely different than any of her other books, but I loved it so much. Now where's part 2 at though 🤔

I am so mad that there is a part 2, I hope it's out already. She was repeatedly raped by her own father for years, then she was in one abusive relationship after another until she finally found a good man but he got problems with his crazy baby momma who doesn't want him until he don't want her, now baby momma is doing everything in her power to destroy him including accusing him of raping his own baby

This author graduated from the first page,, not only is this storyline on 1000 but the characters will well defined and well written the way she bring you all the way up that is Drica trick is crazy I cannot believe she got away with things but she always got found out I can't wait to get the pot to see what happens next I love Dee's characters storyline is bananas this was out freaking standing

I love Madonna and Wale together. I’m glad Wale rescued her from Chauncey. Madonna endured so much hurt at the hands of her father and Chauncey that she needed a real man to cherish her and that’s Wale. That dang Dreka was something else, how could you stoop so low. She is even more determined to hurt Wale, but oh Karma is something else. Dreka has to be stopped. Larenz and Trina are a trip, they are made for each other. Starting part 2 now.

Great book
The book was everything I love it from 1,2 and 3 I couldn’t even work I was in my kindle ready love it great job. Donna and Wale the best couple and that damn Dreka crazy ass got just what her funky butt needed. This book felt so real lol I was all it like it was real. I recommend my friend to read this book because I like it so much and I will Love to read more of your books .

OMG so much was going on. I want Madonna to be happy because she deserves to be. Wale is a good man but he is real naive. That damn Dreka irks me so bad. Oh my I love this book! This is my first time reading anything from Sha Jones. I love it straight page turner. I couldn’t put it down. I want to beat Dreka tale so bad. I’m glad Madonna is experiencing something different. On to book 2. To all of the negative reviews y’all some unhappy tricks this book is the bomb. Try again!

Took a while to get into, once I hit around 25% it was a fast read, then I hit 87% and it was over and giving a preview to another book, I wish it was more like 95% then a preview but the book was definitely good enough to keep going esp since I grabbed all three to read the whole series.
I cannot stand Dreka, and I adore Wale and Madonna.

Crazy baby mama drama
I can't believe how far dreka evil behind will go to destroy Wale . I don't understand how and why Wale keep being naive towards dreka . I would of never let dreka have unsupervised visits with the twins after the stunt in court . I gave this story 3 * cause of the grammar issues and at times when it didn't flow right .

I read up until 52% of the book and I could no longer stomach the writing.
Writing and publishing a book is hard work so kudos to the author for achieving that goal, but the writing was choppy, poorly detailed, and contained numerous grammatical mistakes.
I gave 2 stars because the plot seems like it has potential.

Life throws to many curves
I gave this a rating of 5+ because I was hooked from page one. Every body has a motive in life, some of us are helpers and not takers. When you do wrong to kids and real dad's that's when God show up when you ask him too.

I loved it!!!
This was my first read but this author and The Coldest Love Ever was everything! I really loved the pace of the book. It didn't drag or leave anything unanswered. Wale is bae and I'm so happy for him and Madonna. Now if Dreka could just kick rocks and leave them alone that would be great, lol. Good read Shae Jones. I'm excited for pt 2!
This was my first read but this author and The Coldest Love Ever was everything! I really loved the pace of the book. It didn't drag or leave anything unanswered. Wale is bae and I'm so happy for him and Madonna. Now if Dreka could just kick rocks and leave them alone that would be great, lol. Good read Shae Jones. I'm excited for pt 2!

Omg.. I can not stand Dreka... She is one trifling woman. Madonna and Wale both went through hell from people who was suppose to love them. I hope they fund out Dreka is lying and she end up rotting in jail. Can't wait for part two..

Unbelievable
The plot and storyline are interesting. However, too much is going on that is horribly unbelievable. Both main characters are good hearted individuals but can't seem to catch a break.
