I've been a loyal A.K. Michaels fan for years and never miss any of her releases. I'm also a Milly Taiden fan and totally addicted to her Paranormal Dating Agency Series. Don't get me wrong, I love all her work but the PDA is my favorite! I've read every single book in the series. When I heard the whispers across Facebook about the possibility of Taiden opening up her PDA World to other writers, I was beyond excited, but I did have some reservations. Several authors have syndicated their series and invited other writers to pen stories in their world, some successful and, unfortunately, some not. I'm a dyed in the wool Gerri Wilder/PDA fan and was somewhat concerned that another author would not be able to capture the true essence of this series, its world, premise, characters, and all the little details that make it great. But folks, Michaels totally nailed it! Her Purr-fect Surprise is a wonderful addition to the Collection! But let's talk a few details!
Her Purr-fect Surprise is an imaginative, well-crafted, fast-paced, easy-to-follow, standalone sexy romp filled to the brim with heart-stopping danger, nail-biting drama, laugh-out-loud humor, sweet romance, and steamy passion. This story is novella length and a relatively quick read but packs quite a punch. The narrative is beautifully written in the third person with multiple perspectives, which isn't at all unusual and one of the things I enjoy most about Michaels' writing. I enjoy knowing what's going on in the minds of all the primary characters. I counted four different points of view, the first from Connie Davidson, a bubbly, mischievous, little she-wolf from the Silver Streak Pack, the second from the infamous matchmaker and owner of the Paranormal Dating Agency Gerri Wilder, a third from our lovely heroine Cyndi, also a she-wolf of the Silver Streak Pack and Connie's best friend, and a fourth from our panty-melting hot hero, cougar shifter Mitch Mckay of the Blue River Pack. The dialogue is smart, snappy, well-executed, at times hilarious, and flows effortlessly. And the characters are an absolute delight! I was immediately smitten with the two protagonists, Cyndi and Mitch. Cyndi is a shy, sweet, but somewhat withdrawn wolf shifter who lost both her parents and has been informally adopted by her best friend Connie's parents, Abner and Selah Davidson of the Silver Streak Pack. Surprisingly, our swoon-worthy hero Mitch is a cougar shifter and not a wolf. That's why he's Cyndi's purr-fect surprise. Get it? lol... And OMG, Mitch is just the cat's meow! He's totally dreamy! Mitch may not be a wolf, but he's all alpha male and the Beta for the Blue River Pack and yes, I said pack, as in wolf pack. Sound a little strange? Maybe, but you'll find out in the story how a solitary cougar came to be a highly regarded member of a wolf pack, which brings me to another thing I love about Michaels' stories. They're always unique and imaginative. But make no mistake, Mitch is no pussycat. He's a lean, mean, fighting machine, willing to do whatever it takes to protect what's his, including his pack and his mate, even if it means squaring off against a group of rogue shifters. His mate? Oh, did I leave that part out? Why yes, as it turns out, Cyndi is his soulmate! Oh my! Gerri scores again! If Gerri Wilder says Mitch and Cyndi are purr-fect for each other, then you can bank on it. And Mitch and Cyndi complement each other brilliantly. Their attraction is immediate, their chemistry electric, their passion explosive, their connection soul deep, and their fate undeniable! Swoon!

Now, all she has to do is get them together, but a little finagling here and a called in favor there, and voila! Gerri has worked her magic again! But a wolf and a cougar? Oh my! Wolves and cats don't mix, don't get along, and certainly never mate, right? We'll see!
Did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Was it perfect? No. There were a few minor boo-boos, which is something you don't generally find in Michaels' books, but it was certainly nothing that truly distracted me from the story and didn't affect my enjoyment of this book. Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers, especially ones who enjoy sexy romance filled with cutesy humor, a sprinkling of danger, and a generous measure of sweet romance, steamy passion and lots of heat! Will I read this author again? Absolutely! And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Connie wants to see her bestie who doesn't even want to go out happy, so she enlists the help of none other then the Paranormal Dating Agency. If anyone can find Cyndi the love of her life it's Gerri! Even if she has to give herself up as a slave to get Gerri to take on her bestie's case, she will. As long as she doesn't have to sell her shoe collection, that would be a sacrilege....LoL
Cyndi has no desire to go dancing, or date any guys for that matter, doesn't matter that they all think her strange for a she wolf, she just hasn't felt it. Learning all she can about being a healer is all that's on her mind, until he catches a whiff and a looksie at the most sexy and hot bodied man she has ever seen, but he's not a wolf, what is this man who can make her body quiver, something that she has never felt before?
Mitch a very powerful were cougar and beta is sent to the healer at the Silver Streak Pack by his Alpha and he has no idea why. But when he walks into the healers cabin, Mitch realizes that the beauty standing in his sight is his lifemate and he's going to have her no matter how much she denies it. He swears to her that he is going to make her scream his name so that her whole pack know she is his mate.
Gerri does it again, but Silver Streaks has not heard the last of her because Connie is just as needy and Gerri has her sights on that one.

Connie decides it's time for her best friend to have love in her life. So she sends an email to the shifter matchmaker offering everything even to be her slave if she can help her friend. Finding love for Cyndi isn't the only thing on her mind, as rogue wolves have been stirring up trouble locally. The whole pack is on alert and while they are off hunting the rogue wolves a stranger shows up at the pack. He's been sent by his alpha to speak with the pack healer but it's clear that something else is on the agenda when he see's Cyndi.
I like Cyndi she's this sweet girl next door type and Mitch is this powerful alpha shifter. They have this sizzling chemistry it's instant love but when you are shifters and meet your mate it just works that way. I'm not a huge fan of instant love but when you have a matchmaker pulling all the strings just right it takes all the work out. Her Purr-Fect Surprise is a fast-paced steamy read perfect for a quick read. This is my first book by the author I truly enjoyed every page. The concept was interesting and the characters are easy to connect with.

First of all A.K. Michael wrote this! That alone should tell you something. Cyndi was adopted by Connie's family..all wolf's...but she isn't happy...as her bestie Connie feels she needs to do something about this problem so what's a friend to do? Hook up the Paranormal Dating Agency they always come through. She just hope's she has enough money! But now they have problems...there are rogue wolf's out there causing problems. Now Cyndi is a practicing healer and the current healer is training her well...one day after rogues cause trouble a stranger is talking to the healer...Mitch a cougar shifter who's a beta was sent by his Alpha to talk with the healer of this other pack....he's not happy to be doing nothing while the rest of the pack's are hunting rogues. Cyndi walks up to them talking...he turns around and BAM! But trouble comes calling! Great characters and a better storyline!

Mitch has no idea why he's been sent on some trumped up trip to the Silver Streak Pack when he should be hunting the rogues with his Alpha, until he lays eyes on the reserved and skittish Cyndi.
Fate (and Gerri) have a way of placing you in the right place at the right time, when the rogues attack, Mitch is exactly where he needs to be, defending Cyndi and her pack but if he thinks his mate will hide from the danger then he's sorely mistaken, the mates make a formidable team as they hit the threat head on.
Another fantastic addition to the PDA world, I can't get enough of This series.

Her Purr-fect Surprise gives Gerri Wilder of the Paranormal Dating Agency the chance to work her magic once again. Best friends Connie and Cyndi couldn’t possibly be more opposite in personalities. Where Cyndi is quiet, keeps her head down and is determined to be the best Healer in training ever seen in the Silver Streak pack, Connie is exuberant, outgoing, grabs life by the tail and hold on tight. Yet their friendship is as deep as the ocean and just as enduring. Connie has seen Cyndi’s sadness, her reluctance to even think about dating or stepping outside of her comfort zone. And because of a love for the woman she’d claim as sister in a heartbeat, Connie has a crazy idea – it might not work, she might become an indentured servant because of this crazy scheme but she has to try. It’s said that matchmaker Gerri Wilder can work miracles in finding the perfect match for anyone… and now she’s determined that Cyndi is going to take part in that magic.
It’s impossible to not get caught up in Connie’s plan for her friend. And I got several chuckles from Gerri’s comments and her all knowing, devious plans for these best friends. With rogue wolves threatening the territory surround several packs, including the Silver Streak pack, the danger level is quite high. The first meeting between Cyndi and Mitch is charming, chuckle worthy and exactly what I’d expect from this no nonsense woman. She might take a bit to convince but once she is Cyndi discovers that she also can grab life (and her mate) by the tail and have that happy ever after she’d dreamed of but never thought she’d find.
I enjoyed Her Purr-fect Surprise very much, and with the introduction of several secondary characters, I hope to enjoy this series for a long time. Now I’m anxiously awaiting Connie’s story because her mate is going to have quite a handful to love. I would definitely recommend this story to any Paranormal or Shifter Romance reader.

I enjoyed Her Purr-fect Surprise very much, and with the introduction of several secondary characters, I hope to enjoy this series for a long time. Now I’m anxiously awaiting Connie’s story because her mate is going to have quite a handful to love. I would definitely recommend this story to any Paranormal or Shifter Romance reader.
On a side note, I am so grateful to authors who have Kindle Worlds books in the Kindle Unlimited subscription program. I can now read your books without having to pick and choose which one I’ll get each month. Connie loves her best friend Cyndi so much that when she notices how sad she is, she decides to find her love to fill the gap in her life - no matter the cost. So she contacts Gerri at the Paranormal Dating Agency online and offers everything she owns - including herself as a slave - in order to make her friend happy. Mitch Mackay arrives at the Silver Streak Pack both angry and confused - as Beta he should be hunting rogues not visiting the pack healer at another pack. Then he smells her - she is his soul mate who is both skittish and innocent - then she faints. Can he get her to recognise that he is her fated mate even though he is a cougar and she is a wolf? Then rogues attack the camp while the Alpha and others are away - can they beat them and survive?

Cyndi is quiet and reserved while Connie is outgoing and bubbly. Connie and Cyndi are best friends and Connie is concerned that her BFF is not happy. Taking it upon herself, Connie decides her BFF needs a man, love and a white picket fence so she contacts Geri at the paranormal dating agency to give her friend a hand. Intrigued by the sincere request, Geri sends Cyndi just what she needs. Mitch is not sure why he was sent to the Silver Streak Pack to talk to the healer, he is a beta not a healer. When he encounters Cyndi he understands his alphas odd request. However, Cyndi is not on board with the idea of a mate and Mitch will have to convince her they are meant to be together. This was a fun story and Connie is an awesome BFF to want her friend to be happy. The story was easy to follow, flowed at a good pace and had great characters. The whole concept of the dating agency is really a fun idea and the authors in this kindle world are doing an amazing job of keeping the readers entertained. Even though there is always a series undertone, there is humor, friendship, love and the mysterious Geri to keep you turning the pages.
I look forward to more in the paranormal dating agency and can't wait to see what is in store for Connie.

A wolf and a cougar find their HEA
I absolutely loved it! Connie feels bad because her best friend/adopted sister has been sad lately. She decided to email Gerri Wilder to help find her mate. Since she probably won't have the fee for Gerri's services she is willing to do anything including being a slave for Gerri.
Rogues have been attacking randomly in Cyndi and Connie's area. So their alpha heads out to hunt them, along with several other alphas and the strong men of each pack. Mitch is the beta of one of the packs but instead of going out to hunt with everyone else, his alpha sends him to some healer in another pack.
When Mitch who is a cougar first smells Cyndi, he knows his mate is near. Cyndi fights it to begin with, but then realizes the truth. Cyndi was sort of whiny to begin with but then she seemed to mature and gained self confidence.
I recommend this book and look forward to reading Connie's story.

Another rollicking read from the pen of AK Michaels in the PDA World!
Cyndi and Connie are best friends, more like sisters really after Connie's family adopted her. They may be poles apart on the out-going scale but Connie just wants her BFF to be happy. So she underhandedly contacts Gerri Wilder, she just hopes she can rustle up whatever fee is levied!
But with rogues attacking nearby packs, Cyndi feels honour bound to have her Healer training up to date.
Mitch is a cougar shifter who has been sent to seek the help of Cyndi's pack healer, when he would much rather be getting rid of the rogues. But when he finds his mate she becomes his priority.
Hugely entertaining and really wonderful story and fascinating characters!

Another Smash Hit
I have to admit this might be on my favorite list right now. This was the purrfect story with friends, enemies, and true loves. This story gave us a mix of a lot of drama and it kept me interested to the point of have it read in no time because I couldn't put it down. It was so sweet that it even brought tears to my eyes. The rogues put everyone on edge, but will they ruin everyone plans or will the soul mates prevail in the end and find their happiness?
Please enjoy this read with me, I promise you will not be disappointed because once again Ava knocked it out of the ballpark.

Anything and I mean anything that comes out of A.K.Michaels imagination is guaranteed to grab your senses, give them a thorough mix and voila', you have a myriad of emotions clamouring inside you. The author's take on shifter mates is sweet, sassy and unforgettable, just like her books. I sailed through the pages nad came out the other end with a big grin on my face. Cyndi and Mitch are purr-fect for each other. We all need a Gerri Wilder in our corner most often than not. This was A.K.Michaels contribution towards Milly Taiden's 'Paranormal Dating Agency ' series and what a contribution it was. I need more.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This book dose not disappoint unfortunately I have read only a scant few of the PDA since it went to KW as I live in the UK. However this book was fantastic.
Cyndi is set up by her best friend who notices shes been quite down and upset so unknown to Cyn her bestie calls on Gerri Wilders help.
Mitch is also set up when Gerri calls his Alpha and calls in a favour.
However as always trouble is on the horizon in the form of Rouges. Can the packs band together and take out the Rouges and will Mitch and Cyn finally seal their bond find out in this brilliant book

Cute story
I really liked the idea of a friend being so worried about her friend that she offers her services to the Paranormal Dating Agency. Cyndi is a real cutie, and Mitch is great. The interesting part of this story is that they didn't meet until about half way in, so we got to see a lot with Cyndi and her best friend Connie. This was my first time reading a PDA story. I know I will be going back to it. Hopefully Connie's story is already out. If not I will have to get something else from the series while I wait.
I loved the characters, the action, the steamy scenes and the whole idea of a dating agency for shifters. This was a fun, quick read. Try it and enjoy!

This KU library selection is a great addition to the PDA series and is a quick and easy read. It features two best friends, Connie and Cyndi,who are opposites. Connie is fun loving and outgoing. And she's concerned about Cyndi, who is quiet and focused on her training to become a healer. Connie decides to submit her friend's profile to the Paranormal Dating Agency to help her find happiness. But when Geri receives the email, she sees it as two applications, with Cyndi as the first match. And a great match it is, even with the mayhem of rogue wolves. I can't wait to begin book two, Connie's story, which I've already downloaded.

This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book is part of Milly Taiden’s Paranormal Dating Agency series. Connie hires Gerri Wilder at the Paranormal Dating Agency to help her friend Cyndi find true love and a mate. The story flowed very well and was very enjoyable. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

What an amazing story of love and loyalty, Connie a friend and sister to all intense and purposes realises her friend really needs her mate to flourish and grow she contacts the paranormal dating agency, begging and pleading and selling herself to the whims of the matchmaker to make it happen, a stranger is sent to the pact a beta in the form of a cougar, and his mate faints there and then right in front of him, she is timid and easy spooked, can they survive the rouge attacks and find happy ever after , wil she be to scared to take the chance. Yet another purr-fect book from a great author.

This is the first book I've read in the Paranormal Dating Agency series and it certainly won't be the last!! A.K.Michaels is one of my favourite authors and again I was hooked from page one. I loved the idea of there being a dating agency for paranormal creatures and this added something new that I'd not read about before. I cannot wait to read more of the stories from this series and hope they are just as great as this one ones, five stars from me!!

You can't go wrong with a story that has Gerri Wilder in it. She makes any story fun to read. This one is no exception. A good shlrt paranormal romance. A wolf and a cougar is an unusual combination. Sweet hot romance with a good backup storyline to keep it interesting. Great writing, good well developed characters and some really hot sex to spice it up. Both recommended

This is Mitch and Cyndi's story . I love PDA and let me tell you A K Michaels does and outstanding job writing this story !! I love the Gerri seems to be able to make these matches !! Mitch seems so understanding while poor Cyndi just wants to hide lol . If you love to laugh and love to read romance then I strongly recommend buying this book !! This is so well written and I can not stress enough that A K Michaels is an awesome author ! Thank you so much for the gift of your work !!

I made this mistake of starting this book just before bed. BIG mistake!! This is a page turner and will make you lose sleep. It is action packed, can not put down till the very last word is read!
I got completely wrapped up in the story and love sassy Cyndi and Connie! The implied threat of book 2 is also great as you read along with these more then real life folks. A.K Michael has a way of writing that drawls you in and makes you want to keep reading.

This is a cute installment in the Paranormal Dating Agency which different authors contribute to. The story starts out light-hearted and soon turns intense and it pulls you into the drama and hot sexiness that unfolds!! I definitely recommend this book that only takes around 2-3 hours to read and it's full of everything that makes a story good!! Enjoy!!

Good story.
This book was a quick fun read. I really enjoy visiting this Kindle World. Gerri makes a quick appearance, and the storyline is engaging. I would like more stories with the characters mentioned in this book.
