I have finally trapped a Sex God. He is mine, miney, mine, mine. There is a song in my heart and do you know what it is? It is that well-known chart topper "Robbie, oh Robbie, I . . . er . . . Lobbie You!!! I Do I Do!!!" Georgia Nicolson is now the girlfriend of the Sex God (aka Robbie), and everything should be perfect. But whether it's because her loony parents drag her off to Och Aye land (aka Scotland) or because she accidentally snogs old flame Dave the Laugh at a party, Georgia's life never turns out as planned! In this edition that combines the third and fourth volumes in the hilarious #1 New York Times best-selling series, Georgia may be about to become a shameless vixen! The hysterically funny third and fourth volumes of the best-selling Georgia Nicolson knocked out by my nunga-nungas and dancing in my nuddy-pants.
Louise Rennison was the bestselling award-winning author of the phenomenally successful ‘Confessions of Georgia Nicolson’ series, translated into over 34 languages and to the stage and big screen as ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging’. She has won the Nestle Smarties Book Prize, the Michael L. Printz Honor Book and the Roald Dahl Funny prize for ‘Withering Tights’. Louise sadly died on February 29, 2016.
This is the fourth or fifth time I have read this book (or rather books as two books of the series have been combined into one here). It really only takes a few hours to read and is incredibly funny. Georgia can be an incredibly annoying character and at this point in my life I am not sure I would be friends with her, but her adventures are still hilarious.
This contained the third and fourth in the Georgia Nicolson series, Knocked out by Nunga Nungas and Dancing in my Nuddy Pants. I liked nuddy pants better than nunga nungas. It was a tad more reminiscent of the first two in the series, with more laugh out loud moments. But I still enjoyed them both a lot. I'm going to listen to number five and see how that changes my experience with this series. But so far I'm enjoying it and I really want to watch the movie version of Georgia's high jinks.
Hilarious and lighthearted, this book is a great read when everything else is wearing you out. The short diary entries make it perfect for filling in a few minutes of free time, and as always Georgia is funny and dramatic.
