Sweet little book about a goat having trouble falling asleep. Paisley the goat puts on her sleep mask and attempts to count sheep, but she can't find a spot for herself and takes a walk on the beach. She finds items that she counts and by the time she reaches ten, she is relaxed enough to fall asleep. Charming and calming, this book would make a great read right before bedtime to settle down the wildest of critters. Perfect as a wind down time read, that reinforces numbers one to ten. Paisley the Goat by Rocio Monroy is a colorful children's illustrated story for kids who are learning their numbers. A goat named Paisley cannot sleep, no matter what he tries. You can probably relate if you have kids and the little ones won't lie down or unwind. After counting bighorn sheep, Paisley decides to walk along the seashore, perhaps simply to explore what adventure awaits. Throughout this short journey, Paisley identifies obj

In Paisley the Goat, by Rocio Monroy, a wonderfully colourful paisley goat finally manages to catch some zzz’s after taking a late night stroll along the beach to count the magnificent things she sees.

I love the beach setting and what Paisley chooses to count.

As usual, Eugene Ruble’s illustrations are full of personality. The artwork matches up well with the author’s eccentric and humourous story. Having a paisley coloured goat adds a wonderful dimension to Ruble’s already energetic drawings.

Paisley the Goat is a fun little story to help with counting. It also makes a great bedtime story. Paisley is having difficulty sleeping so she decided to talk a little walk along the beach. During her walk, she finds multiple items that she can count to help her calm down for a nights rest. My little ones loved this vibrantly illustrated story and I loved the opportunities the book provided to teach counting skills. A great story for little ones!

This is a wonderful children’s story by author Rocio Monroy. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book with my grand kids and it brought more than a few smiles to our faces. They loved not only the story, but also the amazing colorful illustrations by Eugene Ruble.

Paisley the goat is having trouble falling sleeping. She puts on her sleep mask and even tries counting sheep! It doesn’t work so she goes for a walk on the beach. Along the way she discovers a variety of objects and creatures that incorp

Ms. Monroy has written an entertaining and educational counting book about an oddly-hued goat's adventures. So wondrous, children won't even realize they're being schooled! Eugene Ruble's artwork suits the hippy goat's adventures well and are lovely to look at.
