⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Unconventional (stand-alone) by Aleatha Romig.

“If I tell the truth, will you fuck me and then punish me?”
I swear my cock doubles in size. “I could punish you for topping from the bottom.”

Unconventional (stand-alone novella) opens up to anchor woman Erika Ellis aka Kitten’s stale-mate existence. Her marriage is falling apart and every year proves more challenging to keep up in her career.

A little appreciation for what you have or don’t have…. goes a long way. Erika will learn that the hard way after working a late shift and walking alone in the parking garage.

Unconventional, told from dual POVs makes no apologies for its non-vanilla approach to Erika getting her libido back and questioning the direction of her life. Fast-paced! Sexy! Unconventional!

“Maybe it's because he's still mostly dressed, except for his cock, which is again standing to attention. No matter the cause, I'm fascinated by his presence.”

This was a really enjoyable collection of short stories and I was lucky to get an early copy so I have been able to come in and out of these. Sometimes, you really just want a short story to lose yourself in and this was perfect for that. There really was a little something in all these books and some I did love more than others but overall this was an enjoyable read.

Two of my favourites came from Nina Levine and MJ Fields:

Nina brought us a brand new story (The Risk) with new characters, Owen and Charlize. This was a steamy office romance that sucked me in to the story right from the start. Owen was your alpha bossman but he wasn't too much at all and Charlize was quirky and I loved that she was bright and intelligent. They had great chemistry and really steamed up the pages. This was witty, sexy and I know there's drama on the horizon. I'm really excited to read more from these two in the future.

MJ Fields brought us Terzetto. I'm already a fan of MJ Fields so I have previously read the Men Of Steel and Ties of Steel series and this story is a spin off from them (although you don't have to read either series to enjoy this stand alone short story). This was a bodyguard type story and I have to say there was some pretty smoking hot scenes in this one. I won't lie Valentina had me wanting to pull my hair out but she had completely won me round by the end. This was packed full of story and literally left me open mouthed at the end.

“I’m going to make you mine in every way.”

In this collection of short stories, the one I’ve read and am reviewing is Unconventional by Aleatha Romig.

Expect the unexpected with Unconventional! This novella packed a punch and really caught me off guard. I was reading, then all of a sudden we got that twist, and it made the story all the better! I loved Erika and Victor's relationship. Their chemistry was off the charts. It had just enough twisty darkness to be an Aleatha read, but it wasn’t too dark! And it was crazy hot!!! This story was intriguing and I enjoyed it a lot.

4.5 "Trust, Obey, Submit" Stars

Oh my,.........................

 photo notwhatgoodgirlsdo_zpsjxndhn3f.gif

Erika Ellis is all about her career as a news anchor, how to advance, how to get better ratings and keep the best figure. Her marriage has slipped into the comfort zone and it's become unfulfilling and lackluster.

Victor Cross is obsessed with Erika, he wants to control her and own every part of her.

I was so happy to be back reading Aleatha's twisted side, although this one wasn't dark it has a giant twist. The twist was very obvious to me but it took nothing away from the enjoyment I got from the story.

I can't go into the plot without giving anything away, what I can say is this was one edgy, steamy hot novella with a major twist. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a quick steamy read that's a bit different.

Unconventional - Romig Aleatha

This is one of these times that I get a whole book in order to read just one story from it.
What can I say? I just love Romig's stories.
This is also an awesome story with an interesting, unexpected twist in the end.

Review of Unconventional: The Vault by Aleatha Romig

3.5 my fantasies overpower my reality

“Trust. Obedience. Submission.”

Unconventional is definitely unconventional...This story will make you question what you believe in, make you reason with your self as to what is right and what is wrong. In my mind, I justified it from beginning to end, never really understanding what was going on, lost in the twisted mind games that are presented to us in this little novella. It’s hot as hell, so maybe that’s why I was all in, LOL! It’s definitely work the risk and the ride, but no matter what stick it out till the end. The ending was came hard and fast, but it was definitely one that made an impact. Give it a try, I dare you.

Unconventional by Aleatha Romig

Rated 4.5 Stars

I was intrigued from the first page and in love by the last despite figuring the twist out pretty early on. It did not take away at all from my enjoyment in fact it enhanced it so much so I need an interlude with Mr. Cross.

Although short the author managed to weave a well crafted tale that is not only off the scales hot but also gives a sense of who these characters are and their struggles. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hope the author writes more stories in this world.

I highly recommend this story to those who enjoy non-con and dub-con.

This is a review of Terzetto by MJ Fields.

5 Stars!

Fans of the Steel series will be head over heels that this little novella hits their readers. This story follows Valentina, Dominic's younger sister. We see previous story lines from her point of view and from her body guard, Franco's POV.

We get to see the mind set behind what drives Franco to not only do his job, but to also hold out his affection for Valentina. And Franco brings some super steamy menage to us. It suits his needs.
Valentina is nothing short of what we have all suspected, a spoiled brat. Dominic dotes on her and Franco picks up the pieces. What this story brings us is the chipping away at the walls of the hearts of two frenimies. When their walls finally get down and they can "see" each other--the union is glorious!

Major spoilers if I go much further. Read this fill in story because all my fingers and toes a crossed that MJ is going to give us some more awesome along this story line.! #MenofSteel

4 Stars for RISK by Nina Levine

What a great little fast moving read!

Charlize is a is a quirky, nerd of a heroine who knows her place and fights for what she wants. Snarky wit and an awesome sense of humor. What she doesn't expect is to bump into Owen in the ladies room of all places. Something about him draws her in. Owen in all his glorious alpha maleness looks at Charlize with fresh eyes. When she applies for a job at an investment company, she never imagines Owen will be her boss. The story fast forwards from there. Forbidden romance. Steamy hook ups. Falling in love.

Ahhh... but the kicker is....the story doesn't end. The author teases us with all this goodness and has us begging for the rest of the story! Never fear--only a few months to wait. I think it will be worth it!

I love when authors come together and create a book filled with amazing talent. It gives readers a chance to experience and find new authors.
The Vault: A Sinfully Sexy Collection an example of a collaboration of talented authors--twenty-two writers together with different styles all on in one. There is differently something for everyone.
I have read two of the stories so far and am excited to read more.

Unconventional by Aleatha Romig was full of surprises and a shocking ending. Never believe you have figured out the web of deceit Aleatha seems to bring to her books. Nothing is ever what it seems and what you seem to think rarely is the case. I loved this story, Aleatha never disappoints!

Sundown by Tia Louise was suspenseful and sexy. A second chance love story with a twist. Love is never what it seems and hidden agenda never stay hidden. Bonds are tested and loyalty questioned--what would you be willing to do for the love of your life. Once again, Tia gave us a story to warm your heart.

Dear Reader,

This collection of books was created with one person in mind: YOU. This fabulous group of authors agreed to join me on this quest to bring you the very best words we could find in the English language, string them together, and create characters who can transport you to several different worlds. If you feel what they feel, if you laugh and cry with them, if you revolt and get angry on their behalf, we’ve accomplished what we set out to do.

I want to thank every one of you who have spent your hard-earned money to take a chance on yet another anthology – that actually ISN’T an anthology – because these full-length novellas will be around forever, and we’ll deliver a second book in 2018. We, the authors, appreciate every minute you spend reading our books and leaving reviews to let us know how they made you feel. Our characters guide the plot, determine what happens next, and take us down paths we didn’t plan—but we spend countless hours writing and planning ultimately to reach you.

SPECIAL THANKS

To my host of author friends who joined me on this crazy endeavor, you have all my love and respect. I’m thrilled you wonderful people agreed to be in this and to give a part of yourselves in the form of a book. Great things come in small packages, they say. But this was no small feat, and it truly does take a village to make the magic happen.

To our formatter, Deena Rae with Ebook-Builders, you did a fantastic job with the formatting of this monster. I want everyone to read on their device’s intended platform to experience the full beauty of your imagination. Thank you for the late nights, early mornings, and all the laughs!

To our promotion experts, Lisa with The Rock Stars of Romance, Emily with Social Butterfly PR, and Kylie with Give Me Books, I’d be lost without you. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

And last, but most of all, to our cover designer, Dana at Designs by Dana. The countless revisions, the small tweaks, the complete scrapping of one idea to try another, you have our gratitude, love, and respect. You’re the most patient and kind person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I am privileged to call you a friend. Thank you for agreeing to take on twenty-two covers for authors who are as picky as they are indecisive. We love you and couldn’t have done this without your help.

Dear Reader, there are over half a million words in this collection. Read them. Enjoy them. Savor them. Then when you’ve finished every book, we invite you to stick around for more. We’re just getting warmed up.

All my love,
A.D. Justice

Sooo I have read three books out of The Vault Collection so far and man I have really enjoyed reading them. They are quick reads, some do end in a cliffy, which I had no idea about, kinda bummed about that...lol Cuz I need the whole shebang!!!! Goodness, I pretty much read each in one sitting. There is soo much action, adventure, mystery and Sinfully Sexiness that I couldn't put them down. I first started off with:

Kathy Coopmans- Parole

So this book was about Tara, she is married to one of the most ruthless attorneys around. He is very mean and abusive to her and instead of her running to the police and turn him in, she ends up running into the arms of a ex-con she has been pen palling with over the past several years.

Y'all, I am like crazzzy in love with this story, the drama that ensues is a bit cray cray so get ready for a wild ride!!!

I gave Parole 5 iScream Cones!!!
******************************************************************
A.M. Hargrove For The Love of My Sexy Geek

Well...Are you ready to read about a sexy geek god that will make you clench your thighs together?
Then this book is for you. For the Love of My Sexy Geek was soo not what you expect. You think he is a computer geek, but ohh you are sooo wrong, that is just his cover. And every time Michelle tries to figure out more about him, he is very quick to change the topic or have her jump in the sack so he can keep his secret...well...a secret..lol

This book was a lot of fun!!! I just loved reading about this Sexy Geek. I gave it 5 iScream Cones! Make sure you read to find out what the heck this Geek is covering up..lol

*****************************************************************
A.D. Justice Warning

Ohhh lawddd-What happens when your in a auto accident and the owner of this company comes to your rescue and he happens to be Damon-the son of the Marchetti Family Boss and the nephew of the underboss. He is mafia capo and a ruthless killer. Well when Damon comes to your rescue, he will now be making you his, he will now be your protector, your savior in and out of bed!!! lol

I just love me a good Mafia book y'all and this one right here didn't disappoint!! I gave this book 5 iScream Cones!! I could not read it fast enough..lol This is one of those books that I really wanted to skip to the end and find out what happens next..lol

Soo as you can see, these books are really good and I can not wait to read some more of these authors!!! I have not read any books by Authors AM Hargrove or AD Justice, WOW just WOW. I just loved their writing styles and will definitely be adding their books to my TBR lists!!!
And of course I am a huge Kathy Coopmans stalker so I knew I would love her story!! <3

Review for Redemption by Kate Benson.
5🌟
A novella it may be, but believe me when I say Kate Benson definitely knocks it out of the park with this one.

I loved Adam and Isabella's chemistry it totally heated up between the pages. Adam has a little arogance around him to begin with but Isabella soon breaks that down. You can't help but hope Adam and Isabella find a way to be together, and if you've read The Promise Series then you most definitely need to read Redemption!

The Plan by Katie Ashley
4🌟
A great read from Katie Ashley. The Plan is a spin off from the Proposition Series and features some great characters, old and new.
Jenny is a sweet and sassy young lady, she's giving her friends Jeff and Connor the ultimate gift and been their surrogate. When she meets hot and sexy cowboy Brett she has no idea how her world's are about to collide.

Raw by C.A Harms
5 🌟
I absolutely loved Alec and Brynn's story. I'm a big fan of C.A Harms and this story is very different to anything she's has written before but she absolutely smashed it!!
I can't wait to to read the rest of their story, roll on February.

Honey by Terri E Laine
4 🌟
A great single dad romance from Terri E Laine. Jake and Honey are great characters with sizzling chemistry, add an adorable little girl Jamie into the mix and it definitely makes for a book not to be missed. I can't wait to see how their story unfolds early next year.

I'm a huge Aleatha fan, she can twist the story into a pretzel and you'd savour every bend , every curve. This book is quite a jolt packed drama. Erica Ellis's marriage is hitting speedbreakers and she's getting dulled into boredom. Her fantasies are getting louder in her head. The adage - Be Careful What You Wish For comes true and reality maybe not entirely what you expected
#JustSaying !
Very intriguing turns
I had Deja vu in the plot and the dialogue.
For me , Aleatha has set the bar so high , it just didn't meet my expectations.
But please go ahead and enjoy this juicy sinful , ultra sexy book by her

As a whole I really liked this box set, there was only a few stories in it that I just could not get into. For 22 stories I think that is very good! I strongly recommend this set! So many new to me authors that I fell in love with. Below is my review for each story.

Not The One by Toni Aleo ~ 5 stars ~ Holy cow! This book was amazing. I love reading about Authors real life struggles, where this wasn't a true story it was still about an Author struggling for balance and support. Not to mention we got a story inside the story, that was so original. I have not read anything by Toni before, but you bet I will be looking her up.

The Plan by Katie Ashley ~ 4 Stars ~ This was an emotional journey about being a surrogate. The truly selfless act. Jenny had her ups and downs but in the end she still got her HEA. The only other books of Katie's that I have read was the Vicious Cycle series, so the Cowboy instead of biker was new! Very well done, I will be reading more!

Redemption by Kate Benson ~ 3.5 Stars ~ I liked this one. Adam was a jerk in the beginning. Threatening all the wrong things, instead of just asking. Nothing about Isabella says submissive, but things can change! Boss/Employee romance.

Declan's Demand by M.C. Cerny ~ DNF ~ Not really sure why, but this one didn't grab my interest. I don't know if there was a back story to it or not but it just wasn't for me.

Parole: Part 1. by Kathy Coopmans ~ 4.5 Stars ~ The evil twin! Getting to see Trent grown and mature after his prison time was great. Does he get his happily ever after? I guess we will have to wait and see! The ending, aaahhh. I just wish it was longer, I can't wait for the next one.

Uncuffed by Michelle Dare ~ 4 Stars ~ This was different! I really enjoyed it. I don't recall ever reading anything by Michelle before, but I really like her writing style.

Terzetto by M.J. Fields ~ DNF ~ This one started off all over the place. Age 17, then 3 years ago, and 7 years before that and she is going to university, and supposed to keep an eye on the sister who is 5 years younger? Very hard to keep up. Moved on pretty quickly.

For The Love of My Sexy Geek by A.M. Hargrove ~ DNF ~ I really wanted to like this one, being married to a computer geek and all :) But I just couldn't. The characters were very childish, I made it about half way before moving on.

Raw by C.A. Harms ~ 4 Stars ~ Brynn was not what Alec was looking for, not really. Is she enough to make him happy in more ways than he is looking for? He doesn't want himself to feel any emotions, what's going to happen with them? I guess we have to wait to find out! The ending, blah! :-D

Mister Prick by Scott Hildreth ~ 3 Stars ~ This wasn't a horrible story, but kind of unbelievable. It ended kind of abruptly, didn't even go into the problems that we were shown in the prologue.

Warning by A.D. Justice ~ 4 Stars ~ Jillian's simple life takes a turn when she gets side swiped by a dump truck. Who would have thought she would meet her match. But there are so many secrets, can they make it through them? I guess you will have to read it to find out! Or maybe we will have to wait to find out.

Honey by Terri E. Laine ~ 5 Stars ~ I loved everything about this story, except the ending! AAAHHHHHH January can not come soon enough. Terri is a new to me author but I love her style.

Inferno: Part 1 by T.K. Leigh ~ 4 Stars ~ AAAAH another horrible ending! Ok so not horrible but what a cliffy! You ladies are killing me. I just hope I can remember to get all these books when they come out. T.K is new to me and I will for sure be looking up her other stuff.

Risk by Nina Levine ~ 4 Stars ~ This one was pretty good, I really liked that there was no real cliffhanger. Where it clearly will have more to the story, it wasn't a kill me now, I can't forget this moment ending. I can't wait to see what Owen ends up doing about his ex.

Sundown by Tia Louise ~ 3 Stars ~ This one was different. Not bad but not great. The time frame is a bit confusing. Not that there were inconsistencies but the "when" is unclear. I kept picturing that this was all historical, then they would talk about no cell reception in the mountains.

Adjusting the Deal by S. Moose ~ 4 stars ~ I liked how this played out. Connie seemed to be a filler, unless she plays a part in one of the other stories. I wish there would have been more about Sadie. I can't wait to see how Blake and then Jarod's stories turn out.

Sweet Seconds by Liv Morris ~ 4.5 stars ~ Second chances are the best! I don't want to say too much but this was a sweet story about reconnecting with your old high school friends 14 years later. I loved it.

Innuendo by Katherine Rhodes ~ 5 Dark Stars ~ Woah, this book! Katherine is new to me but I just noticed Club Imp has it's own series, totally getting that. This story was a bit unexpected after reading this far into The Vault. The suspense! It had a Law and Order feel that I loved. It sure kept me on my toes!

Unconventional by Aleatha Romig ~ 4.5 Stars ~ Aleatha is new to me, her writing style was good. The story line took a bit to get into but she sure made up for it (and yes she even warned us!) I loved it. Unconventional is sometimes the only way.

Ridin' Dirty by Hilary Storm ~ 5 Stars ~ This is the first thing I have read of Hilary's, I have heard so much about her work though. I am regretting not getting around to her books sooner. I LOVED her style. I can't wait to read more.

In His Arms by M. Stratton ~ DNF ~ I really tried, I made it to chapter 36 before giving up. This seemed like it would have been a good story but it was really drawn out, it didn't hold my interest.

Stilettos and Broken Bottles by Gina Whitney ~ DNF ~ I just couldn't get into this one.

I read Unconventional by Aleatha Romig----
I wasn't sure what to expect out of this, but as always Aleatha has outdone herself with her contribution to this collection. Never underestimate the talents of this extraordinary author. Nothing, and I do mean NOTHING is ever as it seems. Once more she has taken me to the highest of emotional heights and then dropped me, only to catch me right before I shatter. Stunning work and I can't wait to dive into the rest.

Absolutely a must read. I enjoyed every story I read and have discovered new authors that I will be sure to one-click there books. An amazing anthology that you won’t want to put down.

Not the One Toni Aleo

I absolutely loved everything about this book, well besides Montgomery. Genevieve thought her & Theo has forever until he went to jail and breaking her heart. Years later Gen is engaged to Montgomery and wants to finish writing her book in her favorite place Spring Grove but learns that Montgomery thinks her writing isn’t a career. Their relationship is on the rocks and when Gen goes back to Spring Grove she knows that’s where she belongs. I really enjoyed this story and love the characters and hopefully there will be more in this series

The Plan Katie Ashley

This was my first read of Katie’s and it won’t be my last. Jenny is going to help Connor & Jeff’s dream come true by being their surrogate. Knowing she will be pregnant soon her friends tell Jenny too have one last fling and she has her eyes on the sexy cowboy Brett. Never did she think it would be anything other then a one night stand but seeing Brett weeks later changes everything. Reading this story my emotions were like a crazy roller coaster, because Jenny finally finds someone that she can see a future with but being pregnant with another mans baby could ruin her HEA. Amazing story that had me reading nonstop and wanting so much more.

Redemption by Kate Benson

Really good story and I loved Isabella & Adam together. Their chemistry was through the roof and when they finally hooked up it was scorching hot. Definitely will be reading more in The Promise series.

Declan’s Demand by M.C Cerny
I was hooked from the start. This is my first book by M.C Cerny and it won’t be my last. Sydney will do anything to clear her fathers debt and asked Declan to help but he refuses and now a rival has Sydney and has is own proposition for her. I can’t wait to get more of Sydney & Declan especially how it ended.

Parole by Kathy Coopmans
I haven’t read the Contrite series but I will now after reading Parole. Trent & Tara story was short and I loved reading their story and can’t wait too read more about them and see where the story goes. Can it be March yet lol. I will be patiently waiting for Pardon too release.

Uncuffed by Michelle Dare

Absolutely love Rowe & Hope. Rowe is a cop & Hope is a thief, but Hope has her reasons for why she does what she does. When they meet it isn’t love at first sight but maybe lust. When they are together they are smokin hot. Another amazing read by Michelle that I didn’t want to stop reading

Terzetto by MJ Fields

Another amazing story by MJ that I couldn’t put down. I absolutely love Valentina & Franco & the history that they shared. I’m not going to give anything away, all I’m gonna say is this is a must read and I can’t wait for more of Valentina’s story.

For The Love of My Sexy Geek by A.M Hargrove

I really enjoyed this story and definitely will read more of A.M books. Michelle got one look at Oliver and knew that she wanted to take him home. Oliver knew he shouldn’t get involved but one look at Michelle and he couldn’t resist. But when Oliver dodges question Michelle grows suspicious. Will Oliver be her Sexy Geek or will the lies ruin it all? Love the characters and story and I’m looking forward to reading For the Love of English since this is a spin off.

Raw by C.A Harms
This is my first book I read of C.A and it won’t be my last. Brynn is young woman who has to take care of her sister and desperately needs a job and starts working at Erotic Nights. Alec is a man who has certain taste and once he sees Brynn he wants her as his submissive. The chemistry is scorching between them but Alec has a past that leaves him closed off to ever having any type of relationship. The ending wtf I need to know what is going to happen between Brynn & Alec

Mister Prick by Scott Hildreth

Warning part one by A.D Justice

Damon sees Jillian and immediately wants to claim her, Jillian doesn’t know anything about the mafia or the rivals family but learns soon enough when her life is in danger. I’m dying for part 2 asap because I absolutely love mafia reads and I desperately want more of Damon & Jillian

Honey by Terrie E. Laine
This was a good story that held my attention from the beginning. Jake comes home after serving and meets Honey. They only had the one day they spent together and after went their separate ways until, Honey shows up to help take care of Jake’s dad. Honey is surprised Jake is a single dad and things he will turn her away. They can’t deny the feelings they have for each other and when they finally connect, Jake’s ex returns. I like the banter between Jake & Honey and Jamie is so precious. Can’t wait until Sugar is released to see what will happen next.

Inferno part 1 by T.K Leigh

This book is titled perfectly. Dante & Ellie meet on accident or is it fate. Ellie just left her cheating fiancée and meets the sexy stranger Dante. Ellie wants to feel free and Dante is the one who can make her feel things she never has before. The ending omg I’m dying to know what is going to happen next.

Risk by Nina Levine
Short & sexy and I’m dying for more of Charlize & Owen. I love Charlize and her kooky antics and how she is who she is and she’s not changing for no one. Owen has it bad for Charlize but is ex wife could stop him from making Charlize his. Can it be January yet? Can’t wait too read more

Sundown by Tia Louise

Mark a sexy detective who has never forgot about Larissa meets by chance again and there reunion is hot & sexy but short lived. Mark will do anything to find Larissa and when he does he will get a surprise he never expected.

Adjusting the Deal by S. Moose

Absolutely enjoyed this read. Liam an older man has always felt something for Chelsea ever since she sent him pics of her. Now Chelsea offers herself to Liam to pay her fathers debt. Liam & Chelsea are sweet and sexy and definitely Liam will become your next book boyfriend how protective and caring he is of the people he cares about. Can’t wait too read more about Liam, Chelsea and of course Liam’s brothers Blake & Jared.

Sweet Seconds by Liv Morris

A sweet story of getting a second chance and regretting letting the love of your life go. Colin & Kristen we’re young when they were together and of course Colin while in college did an unthinkable thing and broke Kristen’s heart. Years later they are reunited and Colin will do anything to make up for what he did. Good story Colin at first I didn’t like because I what he did but now him being mature, he will melt your heart.

Innuendo by Katherine Rhodes
This was my first book that I have read by Katherine. It was an interesting read. I love the friendship with Peter & Whiskey but you could tell they both wanted more. I liked the other characters and will have to read the other books in the Club Imperial Series

Unconventional by Aletha Romig
What have I been missing. I loved everything about this book. Erika & Vic were absolutely phenomenal. There marriage was in danger until Vic took control and now they are happier then before. In His Arms by M. Stratton
Absolutely an amazing read that had me hooked from the start. Mya & Nate I absolutely loved them together. From friends to lovers Nate didn’t want to wait any longer to make Mya his, but someone else wanted Mya all too himself. There was a twist I didn’t see coming and love that this story kept me guessing about who was after Mya. Great read with amazing characters that I couldn’t put down.

Stilettos and Broken Bottles by Gina Whitney
I enjoyed this short story and I’m dying for more of the sexy Irishmen Rory. Georgia & Rory meet at a bar and connected, I couldn’t wait to see where it would go. Georgia has it ingrained in her growing up that wealth was everything, but when Rory can’t give her wealth will she let her heart decide to give him a chance. Love it, but so wanted more.

I read Raw by CA Harms
Alec and Byrnn's story knocked me off my feet. CA Has never written a story like that so it was a little out of her wheel house. It was amazing.
Byrnn just a shy young lady who has been hit hard with alot of pressure that includes her very sassy little sister.
Alec is Tall, dark, Handsome and a mystery. He has always had a certain lifestyle and for him that means no emotions and no strings...Basically he wants a good time then SEE YA....BUT with Byrnn he seems to have a change of heart...Warning this is a cliff hanger

**REVIEW WRITTEN FOR UNCONVENTIONAL By Aleatha Romig**

Wow. Romig has once again floored me with her snap twists and sexy wordsmithery. I can only hope to see more from Victor Cross and Erika Ellis because...wow.

Hot is an understatement. It was dirty, raw, and gritty in all the best, heartfelt ways. I can't go into detail because I don't want to give anything away, but I will say this.

Sexy strong female lead...needs more than what life is currently offering her. In her job. Her marriage. Everything.

Quiet, creepy watchman...knows the ins and outs of his desire's life, and a perfect plan to make her his.

Draw your own conclusions. Or pick up this entire collection of stories to devour again and again. I look forward to reading the rest!

Reviewing UNCONVENTIONAL by Aleatha Romig
This book looks amazing . some pretty good authors have decided to write this sexy collection .
In Aleatha's book Unconventional three word make up the story TRUST . OBEY SUBMIT . Erica Ellis marriage has hit a bump in the road. She is a news caster that is obsessed with getting into the big markets . Her husband is a sweet guy and they are falling out of love . Until the day that Erica is taken and all her desires come true.
The twist in the book is great at the beginning you are wondering who this stalker is and when you find out you are like WHOA didn't see that coming . When fantasies come alive you wonder why you weren't like this from the start . Love reblooms and marriages are saved . Gives new meaning to the old saying Be careful what you wish for . Cause sometimes it will come true
The characters are well written and you will be on the edge of your seat until you figure out the twist . This was a great fast read and I loved every second of it . Going to read the rest of the stories in the anthology now

A fantastic collection with a little bit of everything I love. Bikers, businessmen, alpha men or sweet men, feisty women or broken women you will find them all here.

Not The One by Toni Aleo

I enjoyed the story of Gen and Theo, young lovers who were torn apart. Theo never thought he was good enough for Gen he was the town bad boy whereas she’s the quintessential good girl,

Ten years pass before they meet up again but there’s a complication Gen is engaged. Theo never gave up hope that they would reunited.

I liked Theo’s character he was the guy all the girls fell for but with a sweet heart when it came to his girl. What Gen does for a living was inspired I loved getting in her head,

Enjoyable sweet second chance love story.

The Plan by Katie Ashley

Oh I just loved this novella, what a fantastic theme for a story I’ve never read a book about this subject and felt it was dealt with very sensitively.

Jenny is one of those beautiful people inside and out she really is the sweetest soul what she does is so selfless. When she decides to have a little fun she meets a hot cowboy Brett who she as an unforgettable passionate night with.

There’s a complication to any future with them but I can’t tell you what you’ll have to read the book to find out. With great supporting characters, fun crazy friends and a loving family to support her.

A good unusual story.

Redemption by Kate Benson

Adam and Isabella are a scorching hot couple that chemistry is off the charts. I enjoyed reading their short story. Adam is an idiot when they first meet, I laughed so much when he was pushing her buttons it was fun reading her reactions.
I look forward to reading more about these two.

Declan’s Demand

Sydney is a young woman with a dad who can’t keep out of trouble he owes money to some bad people so she goes to Declan to plead for her dad.
Declan is not a good man and he enjoys toying with her almost as much as he wants her. This is a quick story that introduces us to these two in preparation for their book next year.

Parole by Kathy Coopmans

This is a short story to introduce to Tara and Trent and her ruthless maniac husband Lucian, if you’ve read the Contrite duet you know who he is, yes that Trent!!. Tara strikes up a pen pal friendship with Trent when he’s in prison but over time the letters they exchanged changed and they fell in love. When she finally leaves her husband they meet for the first time when secrets are revealed and nothing goes to plan. Now I’m anxiously waiting in the full book.

Risk by Nina Levine

I love everything Nina writes whether it’s her crazy bikers or in this case a short funny read that introduces us to new characters Owen and Charlize.

From the moment they meet sparks fly, the banter between them is laugh out hilarious. They start as colleagues friends/antagonists to red hot lovers.

I’m looking forward to seeing how their relationship progresses because I just know drama is on the horizon.

Ridin Dirty by Hilary Storm

Hilary has packed a lot into Harley and Slaters story it’s full on action right from the start. We find out Harley is on the run and jus when it looks like it’s all over Slater comes to her rescue. I loved Harley she’s a strong woman who doesn’t rely on anyone and certainly doesn’t need a man to look after her. Slayer is a biker who has more secrets than you can count. We know he’s on a job to keep her safe but from whom we’re not really sure.
It doesn’t end on a cliffy as such but it’s at a turning point in the story. I can’t wait till we get the full book.

Some of these novellas I loved, some I did not. Some are standalones, and some are only part one of the story. Several of the authors were new to me. Below is a short review of each novella included in this anthology.

Risk by Nina Levine - 4 stars
I was expecting something dark, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story is a light and fluffy read with some light humor. I connected right away. I love Charlize and Owen. The sexual tension between them is hot. The story is fast paced, but doesn't feel rushed. I can't wait to see how Charlize and Owen's story concludes.

Sundown by Tia Louise - 3 stars
This story had some surprises. I found most of the story to be meh, but I really liked the epilogue.

Adjusting the Deal by S. Moose - DNF
I made it about halfway. This novella just didn't work for me. First, I am not a fan of the trope (dad's best friend). I made no connection with the characters or story and it seems very cliche. I was struggling to read so I stopped.

Unconventional by Aleatha Romig - 4 stars
This was an interesting combination of light and dark with a surprising twist. I'm not always a fan of darker stories, but this one kept me reading.

Not the One by Toni Aleo - 3 stars
I loved the prologue. The rest of the novella was meh. After connecting in the prologue, I lost the connection for the rest of the story. Gen and Theo were likable characters, and the story was decent enough to keep me reading.

For the Love of My Sexy Geek by AM Hargrove - 3 stars
The writing felt a little choppy, but it was a cute story. I really liked the prologue, but the rest of the story felt a little cheesy. There was a secondary storyline involving the MC best friend that was left incomplete. The rest of the story was satisfying in terms of all questions being answered. Edited to add: I didn't realize this was a spinoff of For the Love of English. That would explain the incomplete secondary storyline. I'm not sure I feel invested enough to go back and read the original book.

Raw by C.A. Harms - 4 stars
I loved this story. It reminded me a little of Fifty Shades. There was heat, humor, and some feels. The chemistry between Brynn and Alec was hot. I can not wait to see how their story plays out.

Mister Prick by S.D. Hildreth - 4 stars
I found this story to be rather entertaining. It was also quite hot. I can't wait to read about the rest of Jessica and Vince's adventures.

Warning by A.D. Justice - 4 stars
I love mafia stories, and this was a good one. I fell in love with Damon immediately. He and Jillian had great chemistry. I can not wait for the rest of their story.

Honey by Terri E. Laine - 5 stars
This novella managed to give me all the feels. I could not put it down. A few years after a chance meeting, Honey and Jake cross paths again. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them.

Inferno by T.K. Leigh - 4 stars
This was a fast paced, hot read with a surprising twist. I can not wait to find out what happens next.

-----

Stilettos and Broken Bottles by Gina Whitney - 2 stars
Good idea for the story, but I didn't like the writing. The characters were likable. Overall this wasn't a satisfying read.

Ridin’ Dirty by Hilary Storm - 4 stars
Love the characters. The story was good. It hooked me from the start. The flow was very good. Left me wanting more.

Innuendo by Katherine Rhodes - 3 stars
The beginning was hard to follow. The deeper in the better. But the many names per person was hard to follow. In a short story I don't think it's fair to the reader.

Redemption by Kate Benson - 3 stars
This was an easy read. Good flow. The characters were likable but I didn't connect.

Parole by Kathy Coopmans - 3 stars
I liked the story line but not the way it was written. But I still want to know what happened.

The Plan by Katie Ashley - 4 stars
I liked the story line. It flowed nicely and I connected.

Sweet Seconds by Liv Morris - 3 stars
I liked the story and how it progressed, but I didn't connect with the characters.

Declan's Demand by M.C. Cerny - 4 stars
I liked the story and I connected. I want more.

In His Arms by M. Stratton - 2 stars
The story idea was good. Flow of writing was hard to follow sometimes. Fear was there. I didn't connect with the characters.

Uncuffed by Michelle Dare - 3 stars
The story idea was good. I liked the characters but I couldn't get into it.

Terzetto by MJ Fields - 3 stars
This was a quick read. I liked the story, and it was hot, but I didn't connect

I've just read 4 so far but need to shout how wonderful they are!!

The first is from Scott Hildreth: Mister Prick.

I am loving the fact that the author's writing has just gotten better and better with time. This novella starts the wild ride between Jessica and Vince Devoe and it is one spectacular one. The car salesperson and her best customer. Neither saw the other as more than just business partners but one very fast test drive and everything changes in an instant. Secrets are slowly revealed and Jessica realizes her life will never be the same and she's more than ok with that. We're left at the end wondering where this new life will take her next and with her Mister Prick by her side, it's anyone's guess just how exciting it is to become. He's more than meets the eye in every way shape and form and I for one, couldn't be happier. As a modern day Robin Hood of sorts, his penchant for wanting to do good under the guise of being a bad ass has me craving so much more from these characters. Clearly one of the author's best to date, I give this one 5 stars all the way!

Honey by Terrie E. Laine.

My first from this author and I'm kicking myself for not finding her sooner. A great single dad novella, Jake Turnball never thought he'd see the one night stand he had 5 years prior. But when he's in need of an aide for his ailing Dad, in walks Honey Hunter and his life is turned upside down once again. I loved that they tried to avoid each other and the simmering heat between them. These are addictive characters, from Ford to sweet Jamie to both Honey and Jake. I got all wrapped up in their seamless rhythm and I was certain they'd become a family as they enjoyed a slow burn romance. But then the end comes way to quickly and now I'm desperate for the conclusion in Sugar, hoping they can all find their happy. A huge 5 stars!

Risk by Nina Levine

A different kind of story for the author (who I adore btw), this is a fun and flirty story about Charlize and Owen. Meeting at the most inopportune time while Charlize's dress comes undone at her bestie's wedding, these two have a heat almost immediately. They are soon employer and employee with Charlize tempting the boss almost every minute of the day. They are fire and more fire when together and it's enough to make my ereader melt! Although they have a ton to contend with, including a nasty ex-wife who happens to be Owen's business partner, I'll be very curious to see how it all turns out. Charlize is very no-nonsense which I love to read and Owen has certainly met his match. With smoking hot sex, this one is a keeper. 5 solid stars!

Sundown by Tia Louise

Another new to me author, Sundown was an adventure I only come across once in a great while. A bit of a mystery as Larissa and her 'sister' Molly board a train in the snowy wilderness to exact revenge when they were poor and abused in the French Quarter. And when Larissa meets the eyes of Mark Fitzhugh after what seems like a lifetime apart, her plan just got a bit muddied. I love the adrenaline-fueled rush felt as a very colorful cast of characters adds to the plan hatched by both Molly and Larissa. It's like riding on the Orient Express and these two very carefully find their mark and don't stop until they get what they are after. Mark being thrown into the mix adds a bittersweet romance that neither were prepared for. Their unexpected trysts were wildly sexy and held deep-seeded emotion from years before. With a conclusion that has me craving so much more, I look forward to the next part of the story that is sure to be as intricately appealing as the first.
A huge 5 stars!

I can't wait to read the rest of this anthology. It is truly one of the best I've read in years!

This is a review for THE PLAN by Katie Ashley

Jenny O'Malley is about to embark on a life changing experience in order to help her friends, Connor and Jeff have a child. But she wants to have one last fling before her body is on loan, and it is either the best or worst timing that Brett walks back into the bar where she works. He is a hot, charismatic cowboy and he makes no secret that he wants her. After an amazing night, she bails. But she has no idea that she might see him again.

Jenny is sweet, sassy, caring, and devoted to helping her friends. Brett is an added complication she never planned on. They have a connection and chemistry, but there is just so much more going on their lives. And he is confused and conflicted about the delicate situation, that gets even more complicated once everything is revealed.

What happens when your plans go awry? When the best laid plans could cost her the chance of her potential Mr. Right? Will they be able to work through their timing issues or are they doomed to be in a right-people-at- the-wrong-time-situation?

This brings back old friends from The Proposition series, but can be read as a stand alone. I love all the dynamics between the friend group, and I always liked Jeff and Connor so I am glad they are getting to be part of this spin off. Even though it is a short novella for an anthology, I felt like it told a full enough story and I really liked the characters. It is a fun, sweet, romantic, and humorous story of love, friendship, and life's surprises.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the best anthology I've ever read!!! Each individual story in this book is just as great as the next!! I love that how it's jam packed with all these sexy, sassy, and hot as all get out books and that there will be more!!! If you read one anthology at all this is the one to read. And if you are one of those that doesn't like anthology's I promise you that you will like this one because it's just like these ahhhmazing authors just decided to stick these novella's together and give us this great deal. I mean 22 authors here guys with all their books that are all 4/5 stars individually!!! Truth be told I have never never read an anthology where at least one or two of the stories wasn't good at all but not in this book. So I really recommend this one. I will be putting up individual reviews on each book once I reread each one again, that's how great they are!!! So go pick up your copy now!!!

I read Unconventional by Aleatha Romig from The Vault. Aleatha has a way of writing that even a short story feels epic.

Erika is a career driven woman who feels her marriage is over. To her work is life. Everything else is second. Including her husband. But someone is watching. Someone is waiting. Someone is going to show her what’s more important than career.

I was unable to put this down. Like I said this book reads like a full seven course meal. Add extra spicy to that main course. This is by far the hottest book I have read in a while and of course it has those twists that only Aleatha can write.

I love her dark. I love Aleatha’s light and wow do I love her hot and spicy work.
