This tight end is at the top of his game.

He’s good with his hands, even better with his sexy mouth, and the best at making me forget my own name. His—ahem—stats are perfect.

But I can’t fall for him.

He might be everything I want, all rolled into a glorious package of gridiron god, but there’s one teeny-tiny problem. The vile, loathsome team I’ve spent my entire life hati

I shouldn’t have gotten in his car, but his mouth had been too convincing. He was the devil. The seduction of his lips could make me do anything.

I have a confession to make. When I first first started reading this book, I thought I'd hate it. Put down that rotten tomato for a second, killer, and hear me out, mkay? What I mean is, I thought I'd find this whole rivalry thing trivial, juvenile, and kind of...well...cheesy. *cringes*

It was a "moody buy". I was featuring my favorite sportsromance couples on the blog when Michelle Chen recommended this one.

It was EXACTLY what I needed to read!
This book was fun, sexy, spunky, entertaining and I read it in two days. Yes I had to work to feed my family and you know... buy books 😉.

Rivalry is a sportsromance happening at college.

You have feisty cheerleader Kayla. She is smart, spunky and makes guys cry when she speaks about her passion: football.

I love Nikki Sloane books. I’ve read all of them and I’m so excited she’s writing a sports romance. Lately this has been my jam. The Rivalry is wickedly steamy and the banter between Kayla and Jay is off the charts good.

Kayla and Jay meet at a wedding and hit it off. The only thing, Kayla is a cheerleader for Ohio and Jay is a football play for Michigan. Did I mention those schools HATE each other? Cute right?

I enjoyed the premise of the book a lot. I liked that this book is

4,5 stars. I probably read all Nikki Sloane's books and this one is quite different. No less hot, in the end it's Nikki Sloane, but it's more New Adult story and is the perfect reading for fans of sports romances.

I’m not even sure where to begin with this review because holy wow that was perfect but I MUST /I> say that Nikki Sloane never disappoints with her books!

Received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Two teams, one huge rivalry.
When Kayla and Jay meet at a mutual friend’s wedding they have no idea what’s in store for them but they’re about to find out when they realise they’re from two opposite places with a massive rivalry, will they be able to overcome this or will things forever

YOU GUYS!!!! Sweet lawd I’m giddy as fuck!

I’ve just finished such a fun fucking read, so fun in fact I could read all over again.

I’m now a HUGE fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines!!

I can’t even pick a team I loved more because I loved Kayla’s passion for her Buckeyes ‘GO BUCKS!’ and then theirs number Eighty Eight himself, Jay Fucking Harris the Tight End for the Wolverines ‘GO BLUE!’

I thought going into this book it was going to be one of your typical Football Romance bo

It was cruel for the universe to show me this beautiful man, and then make him play for Michigan.

There’s something so irresistible about an author who shines in any genre she chooses to write in, captivating the reader with the sheer fluidity of her writing style and her keen eye for detail, and Nikki Sloane proves once more that she is a true chameleon storyteller. Her first toe-dip into the New Adult genre might be a considerable departure from her much racier novels, but as always, she de

I tried, I wanted to read something sweet and light but I couldn't feel the chemistry, the MC were ok, not interesting enough, though.

This is quite cute. I could totally understand Kayla’s hesitation in getting together with Jay due to intense football rivalry. I liked that they were both immature, so it was an even playing field I think. I loved the epilogue.
41/2 Stars.

A book that’s quick and enjoyable where you won’t be let down by it. I’m not one for college romance but hell this one definitely is fast paced sexy and just straightforward hotness. I enjoyed Jay and Kayla’s story with their rivalry against each other and friends and parents that will leave you laughing and loving the heck out of these two.

Rivalry.....a book of two people on opposite side of a football war.....a love that you have to fight for!!!

Rivalary is a book that I bought on impulse thanks to some great feature posts and reviews, and I just knew that I needed this in my life and I doubt that it's a coincidence it is released on the week of the game that the story revolves around. Now Rivalry is a story that anyone that is around one of the bigger rivalries in the colleg

If there were ever a story that was right in my wheelhouse, The Rivalry is it! First off let me say if you are a fan of any sport and understand and appreciate a long standing rivalry you are going to enjoy this story. If you are a die hard sports fan of any kind I think you'll appreciate the hilarity of Kayla and Jay's predicament. Being an Ohio State fan myself I adored this story and claiming some kind of sorcery by Nikki Sloane because damn if she didn't make me l

How did I miss this November 21, 2017 release? But thanks to my friends at TotallyBooked, I’m thanking my lucky stars for their facebook post recommendation. This might just be the best overall sports-related romance I’ve ever read – and if you follow my reviews, you know I’m an avid football fan and that I read tons of sports-related romance.

Nikki Sloane is a brand new shiny author to me. I am in awe of her clean and straightforward writing style. She knows her football, too, and her knowledge

I swear sports romance is kind of my thing. I adore it and am always looking for my next favorite but I swear minutes into The Rivalry and I knew this was something special! I was SO hooked. It BLEW my mind!!! It was sexy and addicting and had the most incredible banter!! I am IN LOVE with our heroin

I had to read The Rivalry, Nikki Sloane never does anything halfway so I knew this new release from her would be amazing. The Rivalry puts every other Sports Romance to shame, with main characters Kayla and Jay the best kind of sports fanatics. My boyfriend is all about Michigan, so opening up a book about the great Michigan and Ohio State rivalry was the best. On top of that, the characters, setting, the sports was all so perfectly college. That's right, it reads just like a college aged romanc ...more

Fantastic freaking book. That was the first thoughts that came to mind when I finished this story. It was an amazing sports romance, especially for a football fan like myself. The details given throughout made everything more realistic and drew me in to the storyline.

The premise was interesting with two people from rivaling colleges meeting and being mentally, emotionally, and physically attracted to each other. Their many interactions with each other as well as friends and family while trying t

I really like it !! It was a fun, hot, quick read!!
I like reading NA sports books but I always set my expectations low when reading NA books - so this one ended up being better than expected! 😁 There were some really funny parts which I loved. This book was pretty fun, although it got a little cheesy at one point, and some parts were kinda dumb. But overall I thought this was decent. This was my first time with this author and I'd try more from her.

After 6 months I can wholeheartedly say that I won't finish this book. Not in this lifetime.

That's a pity, though, because I really like the basic idea, the dialogues are great and I love the H.

What really sucked, though? The h. I've already forgotten her name but I know that I hated her with all my heart. Imagine the most unpleasant woman in the world and you know what we're talking about here. She was vain, arrogant, loudmouthed, unsympathetic and tot

I like Nikki Sloane. I like the steam and fan-myself moments in all of her books. But this book? With the female MC, Kayla McCarthy? I was ready to commit murder!

So the title pretty much sums up what the main bone of contention is going to be between the two MCs - a rivalry. Not knowing much about football I found myself Googling the two schools used in this book. Kayla comes from OSU. She's the captain of the cheerleader squad. Jay comes from Michigan. He is their star linebacker. When they mee

I highly enjoyed Nikki Sloane's previous novels Sordid and Torrid so of course I needed to get my hands on The Rivalry. I was seriously hyped up for this book because 1) the MCs were from rival schools (OSU vs. Michigan--greatest college football rivalry EVER) 2) my favorite trope: forbidden romance--an OSU head cheerleader falling for a Michigan star football player? You know there's gonna be some sneaking around, and 3) it's by Nikk

4 stars. This book was sexy and fun! This is Kayla and Jay's story. Kayla bleeds red and white. She is a die hard Ohio State fan. Her father was a football coach there and her mother a football fanatic as well. Kayla has continued the legacy and is the head cheerleader at the university. She happens to meet a really great guy, Jay, at her friend's wedding. Sparks fly between them... until she discovers that she is consorting with the enemy. Jay plays football for Michigan, Ohio State's bitterly ...more
This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I will be loading my TBR with her books! I thought by reading the blurb I knew what I was getting, wrong. The blurb doesn’t do it justice! I was hooked from the first page! I hoovered through this book so fast, I couldn’t put it down.

Kayla is a senior at Ohio State University. She is captain of the cheerleading squad and a die-hard OSU fan. Her dad was the defensive coordinator for years at OSU and her mother even gave birth to Kayla
