Billionaire roughneck Knox Price finds himself twisted by desire for a yoga teacher in this new romance by the New York Times bestselling author of Dirty Scoundrel.

Knox Price has always fallen short in comparison to his brothers. Boone is the ambitious one. Clay is the nice one. Gage is the handsome one. And Knox? Well, he's the cynical one. The odd man out in the ultra-we

➳An unexpected encounter between two people who are known to be the complete opposites, make it change their lives for a turn of events that will forever bound them together...

➳I have never read this author before, and I am so glad I finally got the chance to do so since I DEVOURED this romance novel in one sitting/sleep time for me (I'm going to be dead at work today...) At first, when starting the novel from the guy's point of view, Knox, I was confused as to how the story was being led on b
I’m a little unsure about my own feelings when it comes to Jessica Clare’s roughneck billionaires. Yes, these Price brothers from different mothers are similar in their crude, blunt ways and as they’re the opposite of smooth and sleek and schmoozy, they’re refreshingly different from the suit-clad businessmen with their ability to get everything they want. But these brothers are also sometimes unavoidably simplistic and they do in some ways, remind me of Alexa Riley’s heroes who fall hard and in ...more

As previous Jessica Clare books, the steamy is very steamy. So on that department, this book cemented her signature. However, the story is... off. The insta love is not believable. How can someone knows they want to get married just from first glance? That is really throw me off.

And I do not like Knox. I was expecting he is going to be cynical. But he turns out to be pessimistic character. It does not fit with his possessive alpha male behavior. And Lexi? I can not connect with her at all. I do

While there were parts of this story that I thought were cute and entertaining, I found myself so distracted by the elements that irritated me that I had trouble truly enjoying myself.

In Dirty Bastard, we meet Knox Price. One of several brothers that have come into money, yet refuse to let it change them or their redneck ways. Because why give up living in a tiny trailer or drinking nasty cheap beer just because you can afford more? Knox is one of the more reserved brothers, observing and conte

I’ve been a big fan of Jessica Clare’s books for years, but I have to admit I’m not enjoying this series as much as previous ones. However, on the surface, this one looked like it was going to be a winner. Knox is a lot less rough and arrogant than the rest of his brothers, while Lexi is delightfully weird.

I really liked Knox; he’s definitely my favourite Price brother so far. He’s a watcher, a quiet man who doesn’t need to shout his wealth to the world. He does perhaps have a bit of a chip on h

I loved that Knox and Lexi are both different kinds of heroes/heroines. Romantic heroes are usually perfect, with no flaws and few quirks, they are the "ideal" of romantic heroes and heroines are thin, and pretty, and perfect.

Lexi is quirky. She is a yoga teacher, her studio isn't successful, she dresses in all black, is intentionally off putting to men, forgetful (at times and about certain important things)...oh, and she has a stalker.

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

If you like men with a beard or men who know what they want and who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty to get it, then you will like the Price’s brothers. These Roughneck billionaires may be very rich but that doesn’t mean that they are gentlemen. On the contrary!

‘Dirty bastard’ is the third book in the ‘Roughneck billionaires’ and is the story of the third eldest brother Knox. If you have read the other

Dirty Bastard by Jessica Clare, we meet Knox Price. He is one of several brothers who come into money, yet refuse to let it change them or their sexy redneck ways. Knox is the more quiet and contemplative brothers. He sits back and watches before he actually does anything. He meets this unique woman who enchants him. She, to some, is off-putting and flawed. Not to him though. Lexi is a yoga teacher though her studio isn’t at all successful. She dresses in all black, is forgetful at times and abo ...more

Jessica Clare is one of my favourite authors. She's one of the first authors I started with when I started reading romance. The Roughneck Billionaires series is no exception. Can't wait to see if she brings out more in this series. Her quirky characters never disappoint and these two are no exception.

“You don’t have to be good at all relationships. You just have to be good at one of them.”

I find myself a little conflicted in the wake of Jessica Clare’s Dirty Bastard. I want to tell you that I loved it—and I did, in many ways—but I also had some misgivings, which became more apparent after I closed the book.

First, though, it has to be said that Knox Price is book boyfriend perfection. He’s funny and quirky, alpha enough to make a girl swoon but understanding of a woman’s need for independen

Knox was so dang sweet! Omg this guy was wonderful, so freaking sweet and just, dang.
While Lexie was, ha, not a people person. She was goth, she liked to scared children, she spoke her man. She was a sarcastic prickly thing. I liked her.

He is 23, she is 28. She is jaded, and well so is he in a way, but he makes up for it by sheer enthusiasm. She is friends with his brothers gf and so they meet and get it on.

As the blurb does not say more I will not spoil things. But he wants her and he will try

Dirty Bastard (Roughneck Billionaires, #3) by Jessica Clare
Happiness is not determined by what a person has, but who they are inside. Knox is a man who has more money than he needs, yet he still feels empty. Lexi has nothing to offer, but herself. Dirty Bastard may seem cliched, but some of the best life lessons are. Clare pours out the desires of the heart while speaking to an ingrained sense of humanity. Beauty comes in simple heartfelt packaging.

Loved Knox, especially getting to see his vulnerabilities and the way he unfavorably compares himself to his brothers.
Absolutely detested Lexi - which I guess was intentional in the way her character is depicted BUT I really detested her to the point I just couldn't understand Knox's obsession with her or continue reading without wanting to punch her in the face :D

I loved this book!!! I think it’s my favorite of the series! There were so many heart racing situations that I could literally feel my palms getting sweaty and my blood rushing in my veins. Clare’s ability at making you feel just as much of a part of the story as her characters is astounding! It is the main reason Clare will always be on my automatic buy list.

I think Lexi and Knox were my favorite characters because they were just so odd!!! Lexi was just so weird and funny and Knox was so willi

I really liked this book. It only took me a few minutes to remember Lexi from the last book in this series. Knox is the kind of guy every girl wants. Lexi's personality can't help but make you laugh. Truly enjoyable.

Knox and Lexi are the BEST! I love this rough cowboy billionaire and his goth woman! I wanted to smack her for trying to take care of her problem all on her own, but I just loved the two of them two much to hold a grudge. He is amazing and just the right amount of sweet mixed with all of that sexy! A great read!

I had a less than happy reaction to the second book in the Roughneck Billionaires series, so I approached Dirty Bastard with low expectations which were immediately blown out of the water. Lexi is the prickly, goth, yoga instructor who likes to scare small children and sleep in haunted houses. Knox is the trailer living, bearded, cynical, roughneck billionaire who decides she's the one for him.

Their back and forth banter was funny. Their chemistry was undeniable. Lexi was frustrating and infuri

Lexi isn't like other women, the girl says what's on her mind, “most doctors have patient portals you can access and pull lab results.” She pats the edge of the bed next to her. “Go on. I’ll wait.” Knox is finding more and more interesting things about his woman, “dunno, but if reading gets you this hot, I need to do it more often.” I liked this book, I loved how well Lexi and Knox went together.

I’m really looking forward to Knox and Lexi’s story...

Knox Price has always fallen short in comparison to his brothers. Boone is the ambitious one. Clay is the nice one. Gage is the handsome one. And Knox? Well, he's the cynical one. The odd man out in the ultra-wealthy but rather unique Price family. It's not that Knox hates people--it's that humanity always disappoints him. I love how this third installment dovetails nicely out of the 2nd book - really picking up mid-story so that we see how the scenes intertwine when Lexi and Knox first meet.  when it was mildly amusing in the Nat/Clay's story - it's really full on entertaining here.  Who knew that Knox had it in him to be as dark as Lexi?

This story takes us on a slightly different path than the others - where the reasons that the couples weren't together before were self imposed, it seems like there are other fac

Knox Price isn't your average billionaire, he knows what it means to be dirt poor, and after having become a billionaire overnight, and seeing the way money changes people, he has his reservations about embracing that lifestyle. So he chooses to live more simply, and keep his wealth under-wraps, because he learned quickly that people treat you differently when they know you have loaded pockets, especially women who want to lead a lavish lifestyle. These days those women are a dime a dozen, all h ...more

Before I started reading this series, I would have said I wasn’t a fan of a redneck, especially one with a scruffy beard. Annnnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddd then I read about the Price brothers. This book is about Knox Price and Lexi Brandon, friend to Natalie (who is the girlfriend of one of Knox’s brothers.) I won’t try to lay out the relationships in this series as I can’t do it justice but the author really does a great job of putting it all out there so this story stands alone. My Review:
Overall, I enjoyed this story. In fact, I've enjoyed all the stories in this series. This one is really different, though, just because Lexi is so different. She's goth and dark and really doesn't like people. And I LOVED the way that Knox got her and immediately related to her. They were really fun together. There were several laugh out loud moments in this story.

But there were also several serious moments. Lexi has a stalker and hasn't had a great history with men in general. She se

Oh wow! Normally I am not a fan of billionaire stories, in fact it turns me off a book rather than on. But this one caught my eye somehow and the blurb read fascinating so I gave it a try and boy, did it deliver! Knox is just too good to be true. There are no men like him in real life, not the whole package but I'd love for them to be. And all the ladies that wish for a Christian Grey could get one of those (so they are off the streets and don't bother innocents) so the Knoxes are for the good g ...more

I liked the idea of Knox and Lexi from the second book. They had interesting personalities and I was curious about how their story will unfold. That was until I realized how childish and annoying Lexi was. She was supposedly older than Knox by five years (That she never got over, by the way, because it always, always came up. I mean, there’s really nothing you can do about the age difference. Move on will you?), but Knox showed more maturity in the entire book.

I almost gave up on this because I
