Got It Bad bring us to the last Maguire brother, Kellan, the "good guy" out of the three. Throughout the series we've seen him flirt hard with the U.S Marshall protecting him and his brothers and now we get to see what happens when Delaney finally gives in to his charms. Their attraction could mean not only the end of Delaney's career but the end of the Maguire brother's protection. Yet it's too strong for either of them to ignore.

I was so excited to get this book
I wasnt familiar with this author or series, but I liked the synopsis and was curious.

I liked Delaney and Kellan well enough. Theyre both good people in interesting situations and I was intrigued. Sadly, that didnt last too long. I didnt see the chemistry between them or the jump from lust to love. Their conversations and attempts to get to know each other were very shallow. And Im not sure what to say about Kellans brothers.

Plot wise, it was boring. I was expecting mob trial drama and it didn

They've never kept secrets from each other and his brothers' lies still weigh on his mind. To make matters worse, the girl he was entranced with turns out to be their handler from the US Marshals. Now stuck between a rock and a hard place, Kelly has decide

The Pros:

1) *Sings "Anticipation!"*

I've been waiting for this book since the first book of the trilogy. Kellan and Delaney have been flirting and sniping since day one and I couldn't wait to see how their relationship played out and how Barth handled the inherent conflicts in their relationship. Barth didn't disappoint, mostly. More on that down in the cons.

2) Kellan and Delaney's flirting and sniping was fun and I loved that they understood each other so well and respected each other.

Im a big fan of Christi Barths Bad Boys Gone Good series. The series is about three brothers who turn states evidence against the Chicago mob and go into hiding with WITSEC. Well actually, only two of the three brothers have mob ties. The youngest, Kellan is ambushed with this information merely months before he is set to become an attorney and life as he knows it will never be the same. Kellan Maguire aka Kieran Mullaney is the good, law abiding brother. In his 25 years, he never knew

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

Kellan was always the brother that I was most curious and excited to read about in this series. Since I started that first book, I couldnt wait to read all about the cocky, flirty youngest Maguire brother.

Ladies and gents, he did not disappoint! I loved getting to know Kellan and Delaney in this one, and theirs was the story I was hoping would come about. Whilst Kellan is the good one out of the three boys, he and Delaney and

At last Kellans story!! Good lord, Ive truly enjoyed these Bad Boys Gone Good series tales, but Ive been dying to read Kellans storythe younger brother who knew nothing about his older brothers real workand who they worked for! And holy moly, add in the attraction to a Federal Marshall and the sparks fly!

No, really, there are fireworks boomingespecially with Delany and Kellans meet-cute. Poor Kellan, though it sure as heck was laughable after the fact!

Christi Barth wraps up her Bad Boys Gone Good series with Got it Bad, the third story about three brothers whove ended up in a witness protection program. Youd benefit from reading the first two books in order to obtain a more thorough background of how they got from big city Chicago to small town Oregon, although the author does a good job of filling things in if you start here. So far Ive found lots to enjoy in the previous books, and have been looking forward to finishing off the series and ...more

Best one so far!

I couldn't wait for this book to be out, I was really curious about his story. And it didn't disappoint (not really). It's definitely the best book of this series (although it might have to do with a kick-ass female characher rather than the male one, this time).

These two were really cute together, they had amazing chemistry (and for a romance, that's the best thing you could hope for).

It's a book worth reading, especially if you read the previous ones.

That twist ending! It was so good! And everything was so nicely wrapped up neat and tight in that epilogue.

Ok so I always have to start out with the bad because I'm a Negative Nancy. My main complaint is that some of the plot points felt a little predictable. But that was easily outweighed by the numerous surprises and the fact that those few predictable plot points still felt natural to theme and flow of the story. So while I nodded along and thought "Of course that happens!" I was still
3 brothers, all in Witness Protection and their ways of coping with new lives foisted on them when they run into trouble with the mob: thats what Christi Barths Bad Boys Gone Good series is built on. Not having read the entire series, Got it Bad does take time getting used to, though its clear that Kellan Maguire has the hots for the US Marshal in charge of his and his brothers case, an attraction which starts just as he is forced into Witsec.

But the story went off the rails for me about a

Got It Bad ties the Bad Boys Gone Good series beautifully. Kellan and Delaney have been on a collision course from the very beginning, although Delaneys position as the US Marshall assigned to the brothers puts her in an off-limits position.

Kellan has had to adjust to a lot over the last few months, having his whole life ripped away from him and learning that his brothers have spent his whole life lying to him in order to protect him is a lot for anyone to come to terms with. On the surface,

Following a memorable meet-cute, where Kieran Mullaney and Delaney Evans, debate grammar in some stunning banter and we quickly discover that Kieran is now Kellan Maguire, and Delaney is not just some hot co-ed looking for a lawyer to be. Nope, Delaney is the now the Maguire mens' handler as they enter protective custody and the Witness protection program, which is a huge surprise to the youngest Maguire. Now in Bandon Oregon, the Maguire's continue to draw the ire of their handler - they just ...more

3.5 to 4 star review of Got It Bad (Bad Boys Gone Good #3) by Christi Barth

I struggled to connect with this book, probably because I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series which in my opinion should be read in order based on my experience with this book. (Just my opinion though).

Kellan Maquire is the youngest of 3 Irish brothers who are all in Witness Protection thanks to the other 2 being part of the Mob. I can only imagine how frustrated and annoyed Kellan would be being forced into the

The "good guy" has it bad for Delaney, the woman who is tasked to keep him and his brothers safe. And of course, Delaney has it bad for Kellan, so sparks fly. I am a fan of all kinds of forbidden romance and this one falls into the category since Delaney is not supposed to have any kind of relationship with the people she is protecting and they have to keep it a secret. Keeping secrets is the theme of this book. Everyone is keeping secrets from someone else and no one is happy when they find out ...more

If you have never read a book from this author, then, you are in for a real treat. Instant love for the characters; especially Kellan and Delaney. They were good for each other. I don't blame Delaney for breaking the rules where Kellan is concerned. He was hard to resist and I don't mean just on the eyes. He had a sweet side to him as well. Example is when he carved a heart with their initials (Ooh/Ahh). Yet, this book is not just all about Delaney and Kellan. Not that I am complaining. There is ...more
Im ridiculously sad about the Bad Boys Gone Good series coming to a close. This trilogy by Christi Barth about three brothers from Chicago who move to small-town Oregon as a requirement of their witness protection program has been one of my favorite series of the year. Ill miss these boys immensely.

In Got It Bad we get to see former law student turned WITSEC enrollee, Kellan, and his U.S. Marshal handler, Delaney, explore their uncontrollable chemistry. Really quickly in this book Delaney and

What a great wrap up for this series! I admit I teared up a bit while reading this a couple times. Kellan and Delaney were sweet together. And the bind between the Maguire brothers was fantastic.

This is the third and final book in this series. I really enjoyed these stories, especially the 3 brothers and their strong bond.

Kellan Maguire was ALMOST a lawyer. Though he had a different name then. He was thisclose to finishing law school in Chicago, when his life was ripped away from him, due to the actions and choices of his 2 older brothers. They were in the Chicago Irish mob, and his older brother agreed to testify against his boss, in exchange for the 3 of them being placed in WITSEC,

From the first time they met, there was a spark between them, even though Delaney Evans was just doing her job to get Kieran Mullaney out of Chicago and into Witness Protection as quickly and quietly as possible. With every meeting they have, their chemistry grows as their verbal sparring acts as foreplay for their forbidden romance.

What happens, though, when the two people who dont break the rules suddenly do? Kieran, now known as Kellan Maguire was completely innocent and had no idea of the

This probably sounds crazy, but I love an author that leads me to love a character that I really didnt like when I first meet them. Christi Barth does it with Kellan in Got it Bad and I admit I was surprised and really pleased when it happened.

Got it Bad is the final book in the Bad Boys Gone Good trilogy from Barth. I somehow missed book 2 in the series, which takes place concurrently with this one. Im pretty sure that overall I wouldve had a richer experience having read Never Been

And now we come to Kellans story. I really felt bad for Kellan. Hes the baby brother and as such, his two older brother kept him in the dark about so many things. He had no idea they were in the mob. He had no idea the details of his parents death. He was in law school with one semester left when his entire world was ripped from under him. He finds out his brothers are in the mob, Rafe has turned informer, they have to get out of Dodge pronto and oh, that law degree hes been working so hard for, ...more

For me, surprisingly this has turned out to be a great series. Let me explain, I wasn't sure how I felt about heroes that were with the mob. Bad guys turning good? Not sure if that would work.

The author did a wonderful job of making you see that there was more to the brothers then what meets the eye.

My Review:
The final book in this series that I've loved.

Kellan is the final brother, the one who was the legal one. In fact he was on the cusp of earning his law degree when he was whisked away with his brothers and placed into WITSEC. He didn't have much choice or any warning of the matter, and yeah, he remains a little bitter about it all.

What he's not bitter about is their Marshal handler, Delaney. He's seriously crushed on her from the very beginning, but she's rebuffed his advances at

From the start of their stint in witness protection, Kelllan's had it bad for their handler, the dedicated Marshal Delaney Evans. And she's maybe got some feelings for Kellan too, except getting involved with the client you are trying to protect from the mob will land her out of a job.

But Kellan is persuasive and when Delaney gives in, she realizes a whole lot about what she's been missing in her life. I really loved their relationship -- Kellan is serious about Delaney and Delaney has to make

Kellan Maguire's been on the run for sometime now, just when him and his brothers start to set down some roots, the Witness Protection program notifies them that the mob is close to finding them again, which means it is time to relocate again. Kellan has a hard time with all the life uprooting, and constant moving since he really had no ties to the mob to begin with; being that it was something his brothers got themselves tangled up in, but the mob doesn't care about that, so he doesn't have any ...more

What an ending to this series!

Many aspects were nicely tied up--all the "bad boys'" HEAs were solidified, Kellan and Delaney's relationship that we were teased about for Two. Whole. Books. finally came to fruition (I really can't re-read their meet cute too many times!), and Kellan managed to overcome his youngest-brother hangups/insecurities and both stand up to his brothers and figure out a life path for himself. All pure awesomeness.

The good guy has finally gone bad! With the final book in her Bad Boys Gone Good series, Christi Barth brings us the story of the straight and narrow brother Kellan. I had hoped for a little more drama surrounding how the series would end, but it was entertaining none-the-less. Kellan and Delaney didn't forge the connection that his brothers and their ladies did in the previous two books, maybe because she had been an on-going character throughout and wasn't just being introduced. Overall the ...more

It is finally Kellens turn to have his story told. He is the one who has to have his life uprooted alongside his brothers due to their misdeeds even though he had no part in them. The only good thing about being in Witness Protection is their sexy handler Delaney.

Delaneys career has been her main focus in her life. She has a need to help others but trying to keep the MacGuire brothers in line is not an easy task. The situation is further complicated by the feelings that Kellen raises in her and

I'm giving this somewhere between 3.5 and 4 stars because overall, it did a good job at telling the love story and also wrapping up a series, however, I just wish that the action in this book would've been a bit more mob related. I was expecting a huge blow out, the court case, etc. BUT we didn't get that.

We did however, get cute date scenes, a secret relationship, Delaney opening up, and all the relationships wrapped up in a cute little bow.
