Shelves: keepers
Of all the supernatural beings I encounter in fiction (especially romance), I prefer witches first and shifters second. This one has both! Extra points for the witch also being a necromancer. For this length story, it has good world building, both for the supernatural/political elements and for the Alaskan setting. The FMC/MMC are both appealing and have chemistry, and the secondary characters really flesh out the story well. You can tell that this is the first in a series, and the next couple i ...more
