I actually enjoyed this non-fiction book of facts - a surprise, since I read it immediately after this one.
This book was more engaging because it attempted to explain bees (as opposed to the other book, which provided facts about sharks.)
I particularly liked the large pictures with the smaller, explanatory diagrams used to explain the illustration. And when the term centrifuge was introduced in the context of harvesting honey, and then briefly explained with a picture, I decided this book deserved five stars. (I find that often the science presented to children is just a bunch of facts, like in the shark book - no inquiry involved!)
