Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought this story of an easy chair following its owner to the store to get more cheese puffs was funny. What's more, the chair gets heavier and heavier as it swallows up the people who try to stop it's search for cheese puffs. Maybe it's because Mrs. Piccolo so loves sinking into her easy chair (as I do) to nap!

This would be great for personification at a younger age than fourth grade, like third or second.

Loved the irony. This was no "easy" chair!
