This life-the-flap nature book takes the reader through eleven habitats around the world, each opening presenting a scene with much detail to examine. Lovely and luminous digital illustrations take center stage here, and avid naturalists can lift flaps to discover facts about animals. I appreciated the world map, at the end, showing where the habitats are located.

Each page opening's rhyming text adds little information. As with many "novelty" non fiction board books, it is high on visual appeal and low on facts.

Lots of animal diversity and lots of fun flaps - also pages are very sturdy and heavy paper.
