Fluke My Life #2

Stumbling into Love

Rate this book
Mackenzie Reed has officially been stood up. Not only has she wasted two years on Mr. So Not Interested but now she doesn’t even have pizza and the Mets to keep her company. Then he walks into her life—more than six feet of rugged, hot stranger. Maybe, just for tonight, Mac can pretend to be a girl she’s not. After all, she deserves a little no-strings fun…

As far as Wesley Porter is concerned, one night with Mackenzie isn’t nearly enough. She’s a mystery he wants to solve—if he can keep her from running for the door every time they touch. There’s obviously some serious chemistry between them, so why is she fighting it?

As one sexy hookup turns into another (and another), Wesley is determined to prove they were made for each other. But Mac has been hurt before, and she refuses to fall for this sexy, ridiculously perfect guy. In fact, she has every intention of fighting it…unless he can convince her otherwise.

Stumbling Into Love is book two in the Fluke My Life series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway and have been excited to finally read it. It’s my second book by this author.

MacKenzie Reed has spent two years crushing on her friend Edward, only finally accepting that he would never see her as more than his good friend. So she finally decided to go on a date. Her sister dressed her and did her hair and make up. She agrees she looks beautiful but she doesn’t look like herself. She is usually in a tshirt and jeans and rarely wears makeup. But her date didn’t show up. She was stood up. So, she’ll have another drink, then call it a night. But then HE walks in, the hottest man she has ever seen. And when their eyes met, she could swear she felt it all the way across the bar. When he sat next to her, she was a nervous wreck. But two hours later, it was evident the attraction was felt by both so for the first time ever, she is going to have a one night stand.

beautiful red hair

After a one night stand, though, there is always that dreaded morning after. Should she sneak out? She has convinced herself that if he knew what she was really like, a tom-boy of sorts, he would not have been as attracted to her. So Mac runs. Only as she glanced out of the window of the subway, she could swear she saw him running towards the train.

Wesley Jameson can’t believe someone actually stood this woman up. Another man’s stupidity, though, is his good luck. He really likes this woman. And their night together was unforgettable. Until she ran. There is no way that this is going to be a one night thing. He wants to get to know Mackenzie. It just might take him a little time to find her so that he can.

“I don’t know if I want to curl myself up against his chest or kick him in the shin. Who am I kidding? I definitely want to do both.”

Wesley and Mac get off to a bit of a rocky start. But Wesley is determined to convince her to see where this goes. He can’t believe how possessive he already feels about her. She is a massage therapist and the thought of her putting her hands on other men makes him crazy. If he wants to win her over, though, he’s just going to have to calm down.

“I remind myself that she’s not mine. That still doesn’t stop the caveman in my head from growling. Mine.”

sexy policeman male

A surprise connection throws them together yet again. Wesley’s got his work cut out for him convincing Mac to give them a chance. And Mac just can’t accept that this man is really interested in her, the REAL her.

“She’s exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for.

I know without a doubt she was made just for me. Now I just need to convince her that I was made for her, too.”

This was a cute, very hot story. Wesley is about as alpha as a guy can be. I loved how he got all possessive of her. And even with all of Mac’s doubt, she really did like it. I do have to admit, though, that this author’s writing style took some getting used to. It took away from the story a bit for me. Still, it was a sweet, hot, fun little book and I did enjoy it. I especially enjoyed how the author gave us glimpses into their future so when you finish the book, you really feel like you know how their lives worked out.

Stumbling Into Love is the second book in Aurora Rose Reynold’s Fluke My Life series, and I enjoyed it even more than the first! This series focuses on the three Reed sisters- Fawn, Mac, and Libby. This was Mac’s book. Mac is the tomboy of the group. She’s fun, easy going, and I really liked her! She has spent the last few years of her life wasted by crushing on an unavailable man. Now she’s ready to get back out there.

She meets Wes at a bar after being stood up and sparks fly. What she doesn’t know, is that he’s her sister’s bf’s parter.

Wes is a great guy. The night Mac and Wes share together is full of chemistry and unforgettable for the both of them. It just takes Mac a little time to get there… Of course Wes feels that ‘boom’ with her and isn’t quick to let her go. I love that all consuming feeling ARR is known to write about. It always makes me happy to see the boom.
“She’s exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for… I know without a doubt she was made just for me. Now I just need to convince her that I was made for her, too.”

I listened to the audio book of this story and the narrators (Carly Robins and Alexander Cendese) did a nice job voicing it. It was an easy, quick listen. I love ARR’s books because they are usually light, fun, with just a bit of emotion, and leave me with a smile on my face. After the build up in this one, I can’t wait to read Libby’s next!

descriptionI don't really have much to say about this one. I enjoyed it a lot. After reading a couple books heavy on angst and emotion it was nice to dive into a simple sweet typical ARR fluffy read. It was well written and well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. The sex scenes were hot and plentiful. There really wasn't very much angst and no OW/OM drama. There was a great cast of secondary characters. I can't wait to read about Libby (and I assume Antonio) and both main characters were very likable. Westley was your typical ARR hero. Alpha. Hot. Possessive. He had a few shit for brains moments but he was quick to apologize and make things right. Mackenzie was slightly annoying to begin with. I didn't really understand her reluctance with Westley. That said, I warmed up to her pretty quickly. Last, it was all wrapped up in a super sweet ending. All in all, this was a nice way to spend a few rainy hours, and yours truly is giving this one two thumbs up.description

Audio "re-read" 1/20/20.
Can't say I was a big fan of the male narrator doing female voices, but this was still a fun book to listen to.

Full disclosure, I didn't like the previous book in this series. I actually debated on requesting this arc because I was so nervous about the story but in the end the fact that it was ARR, one of my favorite authors, gave me the courage to just dive right in.

I'm really glad I didn't let my nervousness stop me from reading this because I ended up thoroughly enjoying Mackenzie and Wesley. Mac was a great heroine that I quickly became a fan of. I loved that she was so comfortable being who she wanted to be and despite a few moments where she had hopes of being a little more girly. It was fun to read about her so at ease with Wesley and it made me pay a lot more attention to the chemistry between them, which ended up being my favorite part of this book.

Wesley was more of mystery than Mac was and wanting to know more about his character had me captivated. We didn't get to learn too much of his past until the end but I liked that the not knowing added such an intrigue to the story.

Overall, this book took me back to the old ARR stories and reminded me why she's one the first authors I recommend whenever someone is looking for a new-to-them author to read. The story was well paced, intriguing, and had characters that were very easy to like. I'm already dying to get the next book in the series and can't wait to see how it turns out.

I am a big fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds and even though the previous book in this series was not my favorite of hers, I enjoyed it non the less. So of course I had to read this second one as well, and I am glad to say, that I loved it more than I did book 1.

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor thumbs up gif

I actually really liked MacKenzie (the heroine) in the previous book and that didn't change. She is one of the three sisters that this series is about.  For me it's always a bit of a struggle to appreciate the heroines in a book, and the fact that I liked MacKenzie so much, is one of the reasons this book was a succes for me.

That's not to say that Wesley was a bad hero....he wasn't. He was quite HOT to be honest and I was huge fan of his dirty talk :P

701c13a4-b93d-4c39-94b6-8aafb61d94a9_O.gif (500×219)

These two definitely had chemistry !! For me this book reminded me a bit more of the "Until" series, which was fine by me, because I love that series !!!

If anyone knows how to write the HOT ALPHA'S it's Aurora Rose Reynolds.

I am very much looking forward to the next book of the last sister ;)

Oh AAR, you and your trite stereotypes. The ‘not like other girls’ energy continues in this series with a ‘pick me girl’; the Tomboy, who doesn’t wear make up, likes sports and is friends with men. Again the male protagonist is an alphahole red flag, so no changes there. The story in this one was a little more of a stretch from her usual fare, I mean neither character had a dog, so that was different. I enjoyed that the hero had issues to deal with regarding the loss of his partner and that there actually was some conflict between the couple that needed worked out. Usually these books are just about sex and take-out.
One thing that was hard for me to stomach though was the completely irresponsible and cavalier attitude towards birth control. That to me just reeks of stupidity. They have unprotected sex multiple times, one time during the act the hero thinks ‘I should really get a condom but I just can’t get over how this feels’. Ya it feels good to recklessly bring another human into this world, or to knock up some woman you just met with no regard for her body or her plans. This isn’t just failed birth control, this is no birth control. And she could EASILY have gotten the plan b pill, but I guess those don’t exist in romance novels...
One other thing, this woman didn’t seem to work. I love when authors have a character be self employed and then all we see is her having lunch with friends, sleeping in and shopping. I guess she’s never met an entrepreneur before, because in my experience they never stop, take days off or breaks. But I digress. I rated this one higher because the smut was good and the heroine only cried a few times and that was after she was pregnant.

I'm a huge fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds and her books are always at the top of my reading list. She's an exquisite storyteller and I love so much her steamy, stimulating and emotionally charged stories full of heart. Stumbling Into Love was no exception and I can't wait to read the next in the FML series.

Aurora Rose Reynolds knows alphas. She didn't disappoint with Wesley at all.

HERO~ Wesley. Hot, alpha police officer. He knew Mac was something special the moment he met her. I love that he was as patient as he could be, especially when Mac pushed his limits. He never truly could get her out of his mind.

HEROINE~ Mac was a little tougher for me to warm up to. I'm not crazy about a lot of pushing away. She had been burned in the past so understandably, she was apprehensive of trusting Wesley. She wanted to. I was so happy when she finally gave in to her feelings.

SEXUAL HISTORY~ Neither were virgins but neither had been with anyone in a while. Thankfully, their sexual history was not harped on

OM/OW DRAMA ~ None - a guy Mac had crushed on was her friend but once she met Wesley and felt so much for him, she realized she never really cared for her friend like that.

VIOLENCE No violence

STEAM Steamy

SAFETY Safe-neither were with others after they meet

ENDING~ Great ending with a good epilogue.

4 Don’t Run! Stars

Mackenzie Reed has always been more comfortable around men than women. Unfortunately for Mac, most of the men she hangs out with consider her one of the guys, even though she wishes a few of them would dig a little deeper and realize she does indeed have girl parts. When she gets stood up by her blind date, Mac decides she can either head home for another night in front of the TV or flirt a little with the hottie that just walked into the bar. Like the intelligent sex starved woman she is, Mac picks the hottie.

Wesley Porter finds himself attracted to the beautiful red head across the bar from the moment he lays eyes on her. After a couple of hours getting to know each other, Wesley can’t believe his luck when Mac agrees to come home with him. What he doesn’t expect is the disappearing act she pulls the next morning.

Luckily for Wesley, fate has other ideas about keeping these two apart.

I don’t know if I want to curl myself up against his chest or kick him in the shin. Who am I kidding? I definitely want to do both.

The Fluke My Life series by Aurora Rose Reynolds continues to be a fun and frothy bit of goodness. There’s a little build up for Mac and Wesley in the last book and I couldn’t be happier with the way their story played out.

I have to be honest and say I was worried at first about how I was going to feel about Mac as the story moved on. In the beginning I wanted to smack some sense into her for avoiding anything serious with Wesley. I mean, come on?

As the story progressed and her vulnerabilities became more obvious, I enjoyed how she started opening up to the idea of Wesley in her life, regardless of her insecurities. Wesley’s almost too good to be true, but those few and far between asshole moments lent him the believability I needed.

Stumbling Into Love was just the easy going bit of fun I needed. The Reed sisters and their men have yet to disappoint and I can’t wait for Olivia and her pizza making fireman to tell their tale.

Sweet!! This is what I all the softer side of Aurora Rose Reynold. The characters aren't as over the top as I'm used too, but this was a satisfying read. If you're into men in uniforms and quirky heroines, this might be your jam.

The main characters aren't as over the top as previous books by this author. The storyline is cute. Mac takes her sister's advice and decides to dress up for a night of fun, which is the complete opposite of her general personality. She meets a handsome stranger and has a night of steamy passion. Little do they know, Wesley is her soon to be brother in law's partner.

This is one of my favorite tropes - BABIES!!!! Thouth there's a lot of back of forth in this one. Mac is all over the place and takes a while to see what's right in front in front. Luckily, Wes is deteremined and doesn't give up.

All in all, it was a cute story written by an amazing author. Aurora Rose Reynold is in my Top 10 of Favorite Authors. If she writes it, I'll read it.

Mackenzie Reed is a massage therapist in New York. She grew up in Long Island & is the oldest of three sisters. She’s had a crush that wasn’t returned, and is going on her first date in two years. She’s at the restaurant, & finally realizes she’s been stood up. She’s about to leave when a sexy stranger offers to buy her a drink. This man is absolutely beautiful, & Mackenzie decides since she’s all dolled up, she’s going to go for it. She has an amazing night with Wesley, and then leaves his apartment thinking she’ll never see him again.

Wesley Porter is a detective with the NYPD. After an unforgettable one night stand, he’s desperate to find his mystery woman, & explore their crazy chemistry. He finds her only to continue to lose her. She’s always running and fighting what’s between them.

Mackenzie is a tomboy who loves baseball. She’s always felt like one of the guys. She can’t believe this great guy would be so into her. She thought he was too good to be true, but soon learns he’s genuine, and wants more with her.

I really enjoyed this book & love this series! Each one is about a different sister, & we get more of the first couple in this book. I can’t wait for Libby’s book up next.

Mac is recovering from the loss of hope after learning the man she’s best friends with and has had a huge crush on for two years is now engaged to another woman. When her blind date stands her up she meets Wesley. They hit it off and are soon enjoying a one night stand with Mac running out the next morning. She suffers from some insecurities and it’s better to cut and run than wait around until her sexy ONS realizes the woman he met the night before isn’t the real Mackenzie.

Wesley is immediately attracted to Mac but when she keeps running he can’t help but wonder what it is about him that she doesn’t like. Eventually he earns the chance to take things to the next level with her and he couldn’t be happier. He just has to make her see that this is the real deal for him while making her fall in love with him along the way.

I absolutely loved this couple. Their relationship was fun and easy but overshadowed with something from Wesley’s past that he can’t talk about. Initially, he worried that she would run again and yet it was his actions that pushed her away.

This was one of those feel good reads that have just enough angst to keep the story going but not enough to make you want to throw your Kindle at the wall. It may sound like a lot of push and pull but it that was just a small part of the story. The secondary characters added dimension to the book and I loved that we not only got to see Fawn and Levi from book one of the Fluke My Life series, we got a tease of what’s to come with Libby.

I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an easy read between darker, heavier stories. If you enjoy your heroes all possessive alpha and protective as well, your heroines sweet but sassy and not a doormat without being harsh, this is the perfect book for you.

This is an honest review of an advanced copy provided by NetGalley and Montlake.

”3,5 Stars”

There is a six-foot-two gorgeous, giant man taking up my every waking thought.

This was a nice reading. I enjoyed their sweet journey and their HEA. It was an easy book with sweet and hot moments and a lot of Os on the process. I love this author and her books so no surprise here but this one was just an ok story. It didn’t “WOW” me you know? I think I’m a little weird lately!🤔🤨😬

”I love you because you love me just the way I am. I love you because you make me feel special, because you make me laugh, you make my soul happy . . . and because you give me really great orgasms.”

I loved the cover and some of the quotes in the book so I’ll give you some.❤️😍👍😉

Until I met her, I had never experienced possessiveness before. I had never understood the need to claim someone, to mark or brand them. Yet that is exactly what I want to do with her.

Wesley was an usual ARR’s possessive aloha male so when he found his woman his instinct took over him. But even though Mackenzie liked it she didn’t go with the flow. I mean “HELLO” no surprise there!👍❤️😜😏

I know without a doubt she was made just for me. Now I just need to convince her that I was made for her, too.

Yeah he convinced her with some great Os and by being the sweetest man. 😍😚🤩😊

”This is way more than just sex. I know I can’t keep my hands off you when you’re close, but I also can’t keep my mind off you when you’re gone.”

And is Antonio and Libby’s book next???🤞✌️👏😘

Aurora Rose Reynolds has done it again with another fantastic book. Stumbling into love is the second book in this series and I enjoyed this one more than the first book. Mack and Wesley were perfect together and their chemistry was off the charts. I loved the banter between the the three sisters and also, the mother she was hilarious. I loved everything about this book and can't wait for the next in the series.

4.25 ‘Stumbled and Fell in Love’ Stars

Awww... Stumbling Into Love was such a sweet, funny and sexy story!

Aurora Rose Reynolds never fails in giving me a book that leaves me feeling happy and warm and fuzzy, and this Fluke My Life series takes the sweetness and hilarious moments straight to the RomCom level. I love it!

I know without a doubt she was made just for me. Now I just need to convince her that I was made for her, too.

Wesley was all that is characteristic of ARR heroes, Alpha, possessive, protective and super loyal to Mac from first sighting. And Mac is a sweet and funny – much like her sisters -, one of the guys woman with an independent streak that just drives Wes nuts, and I loved that! She makes him work for it and when he has some ‘typically stupid Y chromosome moments’ where I wanted to slap him upside his head, she definitely puts her foot down until he realizes the error of his ways.

“Thank you, gorgeous.”
“For what?” She pulls her eyes from our boy to look at me.
“For everything. For bringing me back to life and giving me something to fight for.”

This was such an amazing story with a beautiful Epilogue, that just makes me crave that much more Libby’s (and I’m hoping, Antonio) book! Can’t wait! <3 <3 <3 <3

Stumbling Into Love is book 2 in the Fluke My Life series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and is about the 2nd Reed sister, Mackenzie. Mac is stood up by a blind date. While she is nursing her sorrows, tall, dark and handsome walks into the bar. Wesley sees Mackenzie sitting by herself, and is automatically drawn to her. A night of hot sex, and Wesley is screaming “MINE”, while Mackenzie is running for the hills. And so it begins….

I really enjoyed this is a quick and easy read. Both Mackenzie and Wesley were very likable, although Mackenzie did annoy me at times. I adored super sweet Wesley, but of course, I wanted to smack him a few times too. The sex scenes were hot, especially with Wesley’s dirty talk. There are a few surprises that I didn’t expect, which kept me turning the pages. The epilogue was perfect and left me wanting more.

The side characters were very entertaining, especially the Reed clan. There is also a hint of the romance in the third book with Libby, which I am looking forward to reading.

An ok love story between a cop and a massage therapist.

•So who smacked her on her ass??
•Her clothing style is similar to mine
•I would feel so lost without my phone!
•Urgh…stop running away from each other and have a decent conversation!
•It’s strange that all three sisters have drastically different natural hair colours and look nothing like each other
•It was hard to stay focused on the story

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Wesley and Mackenzie's beginning wasn't exactly the impression I got from the first book. I like that the author went back and overlapped their story with Fawn and Levi's. I love seeing how a couple gets started and it also cleared up why they weren't a couple yet. The impression I got from the first book was that they were just keeping it casual. Instead, Mac was literally stumbling her way with Wes.

There was a bit more pushing away in this book than the first. It really helped getting both of their POV's to know that they were completely gone for each other. They just weren't great at expressing it in the beginning. I loved Wes's possessiveness and protectiveness with Mac. I loved Mac's sweetness and I loved Miss Ina! That cow conversation was hilarious! We got more of the girl's crazy mother and I'm completely intrigued about Libby and Antonio. I'm looking forward to their story next. ARC Provided by Netgalley.

Mackenzie (Mac) Reed thinks as a tomboy no guy will really ever see her and want her, and so after a heat filled night with police officer Wesley Porter, she bails. But Wesley wants more and he isn’t going to let Mac’s habit of running away stop him from getting what he wants – her. What neither realise is that due to common connections they’ll be meeting repeatedly.

The guy Mac was crushing on before Wesley entered the picture was a bit of a douche, how did she not realise sooner?!

It’s been an age since I’ve read this book, and I honestly couldn’t recall anything when I first opened the books up, as I continued to read, I had a vague sense of recognition when it came to some characters but that’s it. Overall this was an entertaining and super light/easy read – I do wish it was laced with a rich strand of humour but there moments that had me smiling. This is never a spine tingling read, but I can see myself re-reading this when I need something light/easy and with a bit of steam.

A trope that I know annoys some does occur – . Me I’m not bothered by it.

99p on Amazon 7th July 2019 (If I had paid full price, I may have kicked myself, but at the price I purchased I’m pleased).

I really enjoyed Stumbling Into Love. It was a light and easy low angst read that made me smile. I liked this a lot more than the first book in this series. Wesley and Mac were great. Even though Mac was a bit of a runner which is something that normally annoys me, it didn't with Mac. Their romance was sweet and sexy. Looking forward to Libby's book.

Aurora Rose Reynolds never ceases to amaze me with her incredible talent. Every time I think that she can't top her last book she proves me wrong. I loved Running Into Love with every piece of my heart and soul. Whoever read that story knows two things: first, it was absolutely amazing and second, it gave us a hint about who the next book will be about: Fawn's older sister Mackenzie and Levi's partner from the NYPD Wesley.

I confess that I loved the idea of them together and couldn't wait to read their story. Did I like? I more than liked it, I freaking loved it!!! I'm still having a huge smile on my face after reading it. From page one I was glued to my kindle, anxiously turning the pages. This story seriously had it all: a great plot, loveable characters, lots of sexy times and funny situations. I must confess that Aurora totally nailed this rom com, once again proving that she can not only write contemporary romance. Her sense of humor is brilliant. At some parts of the book I laughed so hard holding my belly and shaking my head in disbelieve, wondering how the hell she came up with these things. This is one of the many reasons why the Fluke My Life series has easily become my favorite from her.

Being stood up by her date is not what Mackenzie was looking for when she went to a bar all dolled up. But what started as a failed evening turns into an unexpected hot night between the sheets of a handsome stranger: Wesley. Determined to let her first one-night-stand behind for good, she sneaks up on him and leaves. What the red-haired tomboy never expected was to ever see him again. Turns out that the hottest guy she ever had sex with and can't stop thinking about is her sister's boyfriend's working collegue from the NYPD. Even though Mac is trying to avoid Wesley and move on, he is refusing to let her go. While Mac is not looking for love she will realize that being stood up on a date and stumbling into a stranger will turn into the biggest blessing of her life...

Mac and Wesley took my breath away! Their chemistry was off the charts hot and was palpable on every page. Every time they were together in a room the sparks were flying!

Mac was a strong and independant woman that could be vulnerable at times. Feeling comfortable in her skin was one of the many things Wesley loved about her and the fact that she made him wish for things he never thought he wanted or needed like a future together. Being a typical alpha-male he was totally protective and possesive of her. I constantly swooned about him and the way he cared about her!

Stumbling Into Love is without a doubt another winner in this addictive series and a must-read for all Aurora Rose Reynolds fans! I'm giving this beautifully written story a well deserved 5+ stars and putting it on my most favorite reads shelf!

Once again Aurora Rose Reynolds has stolen my heart with another romantic comedy. This genre definitely suits her! Stumbling into Love is the second book in the Fluke My Life series and features the oldest Reed sister Mac and her love interest Wesley - Levi's partner at NYPD. We already got a glimpse of this couple in Running into Love and I couldn't wait to finally find out how these two have met. This story was a very enjoyable read that kept delivering hilarious and embarrasing situations that cracked me up and many emotional ones that made me swoon. I'm hopelessly in love with this amazing story and its charming and lovable characters.

Mackenzie finds herself one night at the bar alone and disappointed after being stood up by her date. She decides to have a few drinks and then head home and try to forget this whole disaster. A bit tipsy she stumbles into a handsome stranger who after some flirting and more drinking offers her to take her home with him. One-night stands are usually not Mac's style but she agrees anyway knowing that she will most probably never see this guy again. It later turns out that Wesley is working with her sister's boyfriend as a detective for NYPD. Trying to avoid him is therefore a fruitless venture. Every time they have a fight they end up having sex. Both will soon realise that there is more between them than just sheer physical attraction. They just need to embrace it.

I loved Mackenzie and Wesley together and was rooting for them from the very beginning. What I especially liked about Wesley was that he accepted and adored Mac the way she was - a tomboy who likes sports, beer and leisure clothes. Mac had a tendency to run away when things start getting complicated. She needed a man like Wesley in her life who was persistent, patient and understanding. Mac became Wesley's best friend and anchor by giving him a safe place where he could share his thoughts and feelings. They were simply made for each other.

Mac's crazy and clingy family who doesn't understand the concept of privacy and her old grouchy neighbour - Miss Ina - will make you laugh so hard. Those quirky secondary characters are absolutely funny and endearing. Now sweet Libby is the last single sister standing and I can't wait to see what Aurora has in tow for her. I truly want her to find happiness and love just like Fawn and Mackenzie did.

Aurora did a fantastic job with this book and I highly recommend it. I'm a huge fan of her work and love the diversity she is offering. This series is addictive and I seriously can't get enough of it. If you're a sucker for a good rom/com that will help you escape reality for a few hours and leave you content and satisfied in the end then this is the right story for you! Grab it and let this amazingly talented author put you under her spell. You won't regret it!

Yes! Now that's an authentic ARR hero! 💞 💕
Wesley had that possessive, jealous yet sexy ott alpha personality that this author perfects. Even when what he's saying seems like "omg no he didn't.!" you still want to swoon and sigh happily in alpha heaven. Then smack him. But no really I loved this installment. Mackenzie kinda took that hard to get to another level but Wesley balanced it out just right. I loved all the family characters. I hated with every cell Edward and Bonnie though. Call me judgemental I don't give a crap but they were evil and gross and I kinda wish several sexual diseases on them both. I really wanted Mackenzie to say adios forever. I mean gross, yuck, ok sorry rant over.
Such an amazing romantic epilogue too.

My safety peeps will love this one.! 💞

Stumbling Into Love
Aurora Rose Reynolds
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sweet romantic story about Mackenzie finding love. This is the second book in this series. Mac is the oldest sister who we met in the first book Running Into Love which was Fawn and Levi’s story.
Mac and Wesley meet and it’s an inst-love/lust scenario. They hook up and when Mac tries to sneak away she realizes she left her cell phone. So she eventually went back to Wes’ apartment and falls back into bed with him. Then since it’s such a small world they run into each other at Thanksgiving Dinner at Levi and Fawns place because Wes is Levi’s partner.
This was a super cute story and was a quick and easy read. I can’t wait to read Libby’s story when it comes out.
Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was a well written, nice read. I didn't like it as much as book one and found the drama to be a little OTT, but it had a nice sweet ending and I liked the updates on the couple from book one...

Ever since I read the first book, Running Into Love, I have wanted to dive into this book so freaking much. Now that I have it within my kindle grip, I devoured that book. It was so hard trying to read it nice and slow because I was hungry... for reading.

Stumbling Into Love is about Mackenzie, who is Fawn's older sister and we met her in the first book. So, Mac meets Wesley and it was insta-love at insta-sight.

Mac basically tries to do a walk of shame but fails miserable because she left her phone in Wesley's apartment. Big mistake and something that could easily happen. However, she falls back into bed, I mean his arms, again.

Low and behold, Wes knows Levi, who is with Fawn (from the first book). See how everything ties up so nicely. Let's just say.. Thanksgiving was a little awkward because they had no freaking clue.

Overall, it was just as adorable as the first book. Maybe more. I just loved how everything was tying up together. I also really loved Wes and Mac's relationship. They were just adorable throughout the whole book.

I can't wait for the next book - which I think is about Libby?!? But don't take my word on it - I haven't had coffee yet!!

3.5-4.0 RATING - Another cute romance in this series. Again, the writing was better than what I'm used to reading in the Until series. The steam factor was solid. Happy to find a new series I enjoy and that's available through Kindle Unlimited.
