Coconut Cream Murder is the 58th installment in Susan Gillard’s Donut Hole Cozy Mystery series. This is a fun and clean series. The lack of editing and proofing and inconsistencies are distracting.

Upon arriving at Tessa’s Treetop Team Building for an outdoor team building experience, the Donut Delights’ team hears a woman’s scream. Thankfully, it turns out the screaming woman was being supported by four men in a victory pose. After completing several of the obstacle challenges, they heard another scream, but this time they discovered a man from another team, Gordon Masters, on the ground with a broken neck. After clearing the scene, Heather calls Ryan and he and his partner, Hoskins, join Heather and Amy to determine if Gordon’s death was an accident or murder. The entire Donut Delights’ team helps brainstorm and look for clues.

Heather Shepherd, owner of Donut Delights and
certified private investigator, is taking her work
crew to Tessa's Treetop Team Building event.
This is an competitive outdoor team building event.
The events are moving along when a scream is
heard.....going to investigate...a member of another
company's team is found dead. Was this a result
of equipment failure or tampered equipment????
Heather with her team help her Detective husband
with the investigation.
The donut of the week is the Coconut Cream donut.
A creative plot with an interesting, large, well defined
cast of characters for suspects.
This is book # 58 in the Donut Hole Mystery series.
It can be read as a stand alone.
I volunteered to read Coconut Cream Murder.
Thanks to the author for the opportunity. My opinion
is my own.

Heather Shepherd signs up the Donut Delights team to attend Tessa's Treetop Team building outdoor activity. Here they will all work together as a team to help solve problems before Heather and her family move to Florida. Little do they know the team building exercise will turn out to be solving a murder at the facility.
Again, there are plenty of suspects. This is a quick read. What I enjoyed about this book was the straightforwardness of trying to solve the crime. This book is a quick read with good twists and editing and proofing are less of an issue than Peach Cobbler Murder.
I was provided a copy of this book and the opinions are my own.

Even after 58 trips to Hillside, I still enjoy spending a couple of hours with the Shepherds and the gang from Donut Delights. Once again, the group is called on to solve a murder -- this time while participating in team building exercises. Each story in the series is fresh and offers more than enough mystery. This is a great series. If you haven't read this, you really should. I think you'll like it.

I have never been a fan of one-day mysteries because they always feel unrealistic. This sadly wasn't any different. I get that this story wouldn't have worked if it was spread over multiple days, however, it still seemed a bit rushed.

We got to see a lot of the kitchen staff in this book as they all work together to find out who was the killer. Though, Heather was the one who did most of the work. Hell, even Ryan was a little useless this book.

It was a fine book to read but now my favourite of the season.

Another winner in Susan Gillard's Donut hole series. Heather, Amy and the rest of the shop head off for some team building fun before Heather moves. When one of the other team's members dies and Ryan has to come in to find out if it is murder or an accident. Heather and the rest of the shop are off and hunting clues as a team instead of zip lining and more. Heather solves more than one mystery in this book as she hunts a killer and a shop manager

Well this book was really one of the best in the series. All the wonderful characters that work in the donut shop is included in this book. They are all awesomely quirky characters that will make you not want to put this book down. So many people that could have done the murder this time around. Can they find out who.It will keep you guessing.

Another good read from Susan Gillard

I am never disappointed by this series. The plot is, as always, well written and the characters well defined. This installment has mystery and humor. Looking forward to the next book.

Heather and the Donut Delights gang take a day off and go to a team building exercise at Tessa's Treetop. Here they will have to work together as a team on outdoor activities to solve problems.
They were all having fun until a member from another group dies. Was he murdered or could the equipment have been faulty!?
Heather and Amy investigate with the help of their team to solve this case.
Easy, fun read with another yummy donut.

Heather and her employees take a day off from Donut Delights for a Team Building exercise. It was wonderful watching the team begin working together on their exercise and then moving on to solving a murder. This time there were so many possible suspects that, even after the list was tapered down, I still didn't guess who the murderer was.
