I'm a huge fan of the sibling/friend of the BFF and this one sounded like a bit of fun fluff.
I liked Delia well enough. I liked her artistic side and that she was up to try anything and that she wanted to stand out. Zoe was a bit annoying and I still don't know how to feel about Jack.

Gah! I loved this book so much. It is exactly the kind of book I like to read. I loved watching Jack and Delia struggle with the feelings they start feeling toward each other. I loved watching Delia slowly begin to realize that maybe Jack wasn't such a jerk after all. Chris Cannon did an excellent job showing Jack's flaws and inner struggles with the death of his father and grandfather. His reaction felt realistic and broke my heart a little bit. Unfortunately this book was just meh.. there was a force of conflict, also a weird way on how the problem was solved between the couple. I found with less than 30% left to go in the book it started to keep pieces of information and rush through to the end and for that reason two stars were taken off.

Most books from Entangled Teen (Crush) are cute reads and this was no exception. They're fun and easy to read. A perfect choice for me to read between fantasies or more serious books.
Delia is a bit annoying at times, but I love that she's cool with standing out. She has pink streaks in her hair and does weird things with make-up. She's artsy and isn't really afraid to be herself. I loved that about her. Her family life isn't great, but she makes the best out of it.

It might help to read the second book, but only so you can place the characters that reappear and the places. Other than that it’s no problem to get in the story. This book was just what I needed. After having a longer reading reak due to writing my master thesis it was kind of hard for me to get back into my reading habits. But I can almost trust my beloved YA contemporary (summer) romances to get me out of those.
I actually thought this book would take place rather in the summer months than fall and winter. But it kind of fit to today's cloudy weather which is why this cute love story still warmed up my heart and gave me summer vibes! :)

The pairing of Jack and Delilah totally took me by surprise. We saw them fight like cats and dogs in Zoe's book, but in this one, we see it's because they actually share a lot in common. Boomerang Boyfriend let us see a whole other side to their personalities that was really fun. Boomerang Boyfriend by Chris Cannon is a cute YA romance, but not one of my favorites. I did not dislike this book, but I just didn't feel the chemistry between the main characters, as I have in other Entangled Teen Crush books.
I found this book to be a quick read, and recommend it to people who enjoy YA romance books.
