Alexandra Ryans’s life has been anything but normal. Some might even call it a fairy tale. As the daughter of the former U.S. ambassador to England, she grew up within the palace walls, best friends with the three young princes. Adored by the press and the British people. What more could a girl want?

If only the press knew the real story behind her relationships with the D

Royal Attraction is the first book I’ve read by Tiffany Truitt. And I fell in love with it. I chose it because I was excited about a royal romance. It’s a trope I really enjoy. Plus, something about the cover just called to me. It’s the best gamble I’ve ever taken because the book was so fantastic!

Thank you, Entangled (Embrace)!

This was a fun read, and a lot less "triangly" (I know that's not a word) than I thought.

I went into this book thinking I'd get a royal love triangle, and while there were some flashback scenes that showed a little of that, the scenes set in the present made it clear that the focus of the romance were Alexandra and Oliver.

The story starts with Alexandra, an American girl raised with the British royal family due to her father

MY RATING: 5/5

I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Where do I start with how amazing this book this was?

While I confess that I have a weird infatuation and love for the Royal Family (hello, Kate Middleton!), I'm obsessed with books about royalty as well. Enter Royal Attraction with characters like the womanizer, Oliver Dudley, and the misguided, Aly Ryans. Both have grown up together as best friends behind the palace doors. While Aly loved or adored, Oliver's older and much

I'm disappointed I didn't enjoy this more. It sounded right up my alley.

Royal brothers + American girl = Happy Peri.

Not this time

The premise sounded amazing: Aly was raised with the three heirs to the throne of England. She'd always had her eye on a particular brother, but then certain events take place that make her realize she'd been in love with another brother all along.

Let me start with the parts I genuinely enjoyed. The whole back and forth between past and present was great, it really hel

Ideal for anyone wanting to escape from reality into a modern day royal fairy tale romance!

Alexander Ryans has been brought up for most of her life living with the British Royal family where her Dad works as an advisor to the King after previously being the American Ambassador. She’s grown up with the three Princes, having her first crush on the eldest son, Aiden, but having Oliver, the youngest son, as her best friend and the one who both supports and challenges her most. At the start of the s

Super sweet happily ever after royalty romance. Every girls dream is to marry a prince and become a princess. Alexandra grows up in the palace with 3 princes. And who wouldn't want 2 princes to fight over you. Who will Alexandra choose?
Great read by Tiffany Truitt. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

After speed reading through Seven Ways to Loose Your Heart back in August, Tiffany Truitt landed on my go-to authors lists. So when I found out about Royal Attraction, her latest romance book, I was BEYOND excited - I was bordering on jumping-up-and-down in complete and utter anticipation.

What I Thought Prior to Reading Royal Attraction: I can't possible love another one of Tiffany's book as much as I loved Seven Ways to Loose Your Heart.

The Reality: Yes, I totally could, and that book's name

Thank you, Ms. Truitt, for reminding me why I loved to read these “Prince Charming” romance books as much as I have in the past. Royal Attraction is an excellent reminder!

Thoroughly enjoyed this one! Aly and Ollie were such a cute pair and a great opposites attract couple. Aly is the daughter of a former ambassador. A little shy, athletic, and what's nothing to do with the press. Oliver (Ollie) is the third in line to the crown. His brothers have all the pressure. He's the fun one. The jokester, And Aly's best friend. Three years ago everything changed and Aly too off. Now she's coming back to the castle to attend Ollie's brothers wedding and he plans to get her ...more

Perfect, just perfect. Exactly what I needed when I was so busy with work and I needed to get my mind off things!
I loved it from the first page to the last one and I still wanted more!

The characters are wonderful, the story really lovely and it has been all brought together thanks to Tiffany's fantastic story telling!

I laughed, I chocked up a little and finally melted into a puddle!

I loved it and highly recommend it! It pushes all the right buttons, and I could not put it down!

Ollie really needs to work on his skills, "...His eyes dart away from my face, scanning the crowd. He swallows. Hard. More than once. “You look fine. Good . Fine,” he mumbles before taking a long swig of his champagne." Ollie is quite the helpful guy, "...He pulls my naked, soapy body against him. “Helping you shower,” he growls as his eyes take me in. All of me." I liked this book, I fell in love with Ollie and his personality.

Alexandra Ryans grew up with the British royal family.  As the daughter of an American ambassador, one of the King of England’s most trusted advisors, Aly’s life was, from a young age, intertwined with that of the princes.  In her teens, Aly harbored a not-so-secret crush on Aiden, the oldest prince, first in line for the throne.  But it was the youngest prince, Oliver, who became her best friend.  It was Oliver who was always there for her.  And it was Oliver who snuck into her heart without he

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:Romance

I'd just finished a pretty tight thriller so wanted something light to read. this seemed perfect but actually it was a little too light and fluffy.

The main issue I had with this story was I just didn't feel the romance, didn't feel any great connection between the couple.
I need there to be lots of in depth romance, but what I got was a few fluffy moments, lots of introspection and looking back.

Is it that hard to choose between the Heir and the Spare? . . . .

To say I judged this book purely by the title alone is completely true. I love all things royal, be it contemporary or historical, I'm a complete Anglophile and history nerd. So I immediately jumped at the chance to read and review this book to which I can say I am glad I did.

Being the daughter of the U.S. ambassador to England meant Alexandra Ryan's life was already atypical. But when the death of her mother and friendship of t

Royal Attraction starts out with Alexandra Ryans at the airport getting drunk as she has to go home to England to attend a royal wedding, especially since she basically ran away in the first place, and hasn't been home in 3 years. Not to mention, since she ran, she's made some mistakes that she can't get over. Her father is the U.S. Ambassador to England, so she grew up with the three royal princes. The third in line, Oliver Dudley is her best friend, however, before she left, there was a bit mo ...more

Kindle sale strikes again. I thought this would be a great fun light read that has a lot of my catnip, but it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. It was still cute and fun, but overall fell rather flat.

First strike was dead mothers for both the hero and heroine, with little reason other than to bump the plot along. Why don't we get a dead father and a mother who remains ambassador despite her loss? Or better yet no dead parents, and come up with another way to link your characters together.

What happens when your heart belongs to two men? Alexandra could answer that for you, you run away, you get out of town, you ignore any chance of any feelings developing. Ryans, as she is called by Oliver, the youngest prince, thought her heart should belong to the oldest prince. She needed someone who was stable, who would challenge her to be better, and push her. She spent most of her childhood with Oliver, two peas in a pod. Who knew teenage years would complicate so much?

I had high hopes for this book and went into it expecting it to wow me but I’ll be honest it didn’t. It was kind of okay in the beginning and I thought it would get better as the story developed and improved. However I couldn’t get into it as it lacked the interesting story hook that usually gets me into a book.

The characters were likeable but the story itself in my honest opinion let it down. I do think this book is going to be a hit or miss with readers. Some may love this book for how its wri

Usually I'm a big fan of plots about modern fairy tales. All the magic - not so true - about someone of royalty who falls in love with a commoner, and despite all the mishaps, love always triumphs.
In this case here, although the plot is something of the sort, the story didn't make me feel thrilled.
I'm not sure if it was the behavior of the female main character. Although in the end it is given a strong and plausible reason for her habitual behavior.
The Royal family was even interesting, but the

I was disappointed in this book. I was under the impression that it would have multiple povs, instead it only had Alexandra's pov. She comes across as someone who doesn't know how to confront confrontations. Her solution is to run. She ran years ago in order to get away from her drama. She ran recently to keep her drama hidden, and she wants to run from her present because she doesn't know how to handle things when they don't go a certain way. There were a couple of surprises with Oliver's famil ...more

I mean, it has good parts, I really enjoyed Ollie and the dynamic of the royal family was fun but something about Alexandra that never clicked with me but I pushed through til the end. She does get marginally more tolerable as the end nears but for the most part it's a cute royal romance where the characters have history.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled for the ARC. I voluntarily reviewed this book. I gave this book 3.5 stars. Ali (Alexandria) is a commoner who lived in the palace with the royal family. Already not your average commoner a very privileged upbringing. I wanted to like her but somehow it never happened. I loved Santa. Maybe it was my mood. I still would say if you like royal romance than you should give this a go. Let me know what you think. Enjoy
