Ryn finally has a name, and a chance at life now that Daros has been taken to the dungeons. Or at least she did until he escaped. Not knowing whether to be scared or filled with rage, Ryn sets her guards out to find him.

As much as she wants to help, Ryn must be the Queen her people needs. Or try to be. There's much she needs to do, but she sees Daros everywhere, hunting

A strong story about a strong queen. And about people who try to undermine her strongness. And of course about the people who help her be strong (again).
Part 2 of this series is as great as part 1!
Cassie James
From the beginning of Death's Betrayal, I knew it was going to be just as good as it's predecessor if not better. It began with the escape of Daros from the dungeons. As deadly and cunning as ever, he found his way out from the Queen's reach. His disappearance was a major setback for her emotionally and physically because memories of his wretched behavior towards her became overbearing. Another resulting effect is making her pulling away from Nash. To protect him, she pushes him away and keeps h

I feel like I lost braincells reading this book. Way worse than the first one (if that was even possible).

Everything was just so dumb. The fact that she apparently is a trained assassin and just has trouble doing literally any task, the magic system is there in the book but it's overlooked for the dumb romance plot which rules over anything to do with actually being a queen. The repetitive nature about the writing.. my god... "the daggers", any time she says something "why did I say that" "the

Book 1 on this series, Death's Queen, Was so good that I've been of two minds about the sequel, on the one hand very much looking forward to it while at the same time worrying that it wouldn't maintain the high standard set by the first book. I needn't have worried. Book 2, Death's Betrayal is fantastic - at least as good and possibly better than Book 1 (though it is a necessity to read that book first). It's a true pleasure following along as Ryn continues to grow and develop. She's a superb ch ...more

P a rt 2.

Okay part two picks up we're part one leaves off they've got a couple problems in the storyline and they leave some obvious choices that they should have taken that they did not.

It was an okay read but it could have been much better,

Just as goid as the first book if not better!

I can't believe that I'm enjoying a first person view as much as I am. The way her thought process works goes back and forth from organized to chaotic just like a real person's would. Super story line and well written.
