What I liked: The chemistry between Colt and Shayla was palpable. Though Shayla tried to bury her feelings, she couldn’t deny that she was still in love with Colt. Colt knew he messed up, and though he initially went about it the wrong way, he was determined to get his wife back. I loved that he was not afraid to be the first to admit his love for Shayla and was passionate in expressing his feelings.

I'd give this 3.5 stars, I did like it and it kept me reading. I liked the main characters - Colt, the now former football player; Shayla, his ex-wife now wife again; and Cee, the teen who they are trying to adopt. The plot lines of how Cee showed up and the sudden remarriage, weren't really realistic, but the story has so much heart, you just go along with it. The heat level is high, too drawn out for me, sometimes less is more. But again, the heart in the story kept me reading. Colt and Shayla ...more
