Kathleen's quantum physics research allowed her to develop a mathematical formula that gave her control of time-travel. At least one shadowy group besides her government wants her secret. After having escaped a deadly attack by inadvertently jumping into the Pleistocene, Kathleen found a way to break her self-imposed barriers and not only survive but thrive with the aid of a handsome Clovis culture hunter.
Now the two have been driven out of their refuge in the inter-glacial Sangamon period by hostile pre-humans. Forced to return to modern times for medical assistance, they find that the same antagonistic forces are still at work.
The government wants time-travel for unspecified strategic reasons and has developed a method based on another time-traveler's experiences. Unfortunately, their method has proven to be unreliable, stranding their first traveler in the distant past. Now they want Kathleen's information even more than before and will stop at nothing to get it.
Her husband, the ice-age hunter, Cadeyrin is captured and held hostage until she surrenders her formula. Will he be set free if she cooperates? And what about the other group that wants the secret?
Once again Kathleen Whitby meets a seemingly insurmountable set of challenges. Will her intelligence and natural creativity allow her to overcome the complex mixture of enemies and problems she now faces?

Could this evolve into the Time Police?
Even more interesting make it so that they discover a way to end aging and mortality. I like this series, please keep it going. Could they be the Founders of Atlantis? What about travel amongst the stars, aliens and lots of cool weird happenings?

Amazing and Intriguing!
This was fantastic and intriguing drama, another equally great time travel story packed with suspense, action and plenty of the wonderful adventure and compelling fantasy we have come to love from Eric Martell. The characters were compellingly charming and brilliantly portrayed by the author. A excellent experience of reading !

Fun to read time travel story
I enjoyed this book. Clean romance and prehistoric pets! Interesting characters save the modern world from evil then retire to the distant past.
