Okay, this book totally blindsided me. And this is going to be a short review because I don't want to spoil it for anyone but Jase and Brie are PERFECT together. What comes out is shocking and it leaves you wondering if they will make it and if Jase can make it up to the one person he was forced to leave years ago. Hearts were broken years ago and scars will be ripped open when his secret is revealed. Is Jase strong enough to survive and will he still capture Brie's heart. I loved Ian and the rest of the Trident guys in here and wanted to reach through the book and smack a few of them upside the head for their part in the secret. Do yourself a favor and pick up this book. Then make sure you have the time to read this because once you start, you will NOT want to stop until it's finished!! The books by Samantha remain some of my favorites. She knows how to draw her readers in and get them hooked on the story. If I could give this 10 stars I would, it's that good!!

Perfect addition to the series
The twist is just an amazing surprise, and Samantha does not disappoint in this Trident book.
Love reading more about Ian and Angie and Carter and Jordin, definitely a must read not only for Trident series fans but anyone looking for a great read.
The only thing that was a turn off was Angie's behavior and her comments about what she'd consider for the future of hers and Ian's relationship. I can't really explain more without it being a spoiler other than it just rubbed me the wrong way.

I don’t know what it is about these Trident Security series books, but they just keep me wanting more and more from these characters! And Salvaging His Soul was no exception.
Bree and Jase are enjoying quite the hot and heavy and sexy AF friends-with-benefits relationship. It’s easy, it’s casual, it’s all fun and games and hot sex until Bree’s sister is missing.
Now it’s Jase’s turn to show he’s not just a Dom, but he’s also a trained special operative with amazing skills and contacts. It’s these contacts that have kept Jase both hidden in the super secretive special ops world and from his past life.
Unfortunately, the past quickly becomes the present. Jase and Bree need help—and the Trident team is the answer. But in confronting his past, will Jase jeopardize all that he’s fought to hide and what about his future with Bree?
I loved Jase and Bree together—loved seeing them finally accept the reality of their relationship, their love. They were fun, smart and oh so very sexy. I also loved revisiting with some of my favorite characters from the series. Such fun to reconnect with them, see them all work together toward the goal of rescuing Bree’s sister. I am so thrilled Ms. Cole is keeping the Trident Security team alive through other interconnected series. I love keeping up with them and their antics. ~ Missy, 4.5 stars

I can honestly say I have never cried twice over a character in a book until this one. Samantha Cole was so right when she said you wouldn’t see this twist coming. I spend an entire two-hour drive cussing her out over this little “twist” but even saying all that it was the best kind of surprise.
I don’t know how she started out writing perfection and just keeps getting better and better. I have a lot of favorite author’s and those I simply one-click because of who they are but Ms. Cole is one I actually clear my schedule for. I don’t care how busy I am or how much else I have to do I will do it so I can sit down and simply enjoy whatever sadistic ride she has chosen to take me on because it is always worth it in the end.
Her latest is no exception. THE TWIST included. Salvaging His Soul is simply perfection. It starts out with a bang and then it gets exciting. We get to see our favorite Dom’s and their ladies and we get to watch at least one of those ladies put all the men through their paces. While this is a stand-alone you really should read the entire series for the full effect. You will cry but it will be worth it in the end.

As always all hell breaks loose while Ian and Angie are on vacation with Carter and Jordyn. I am beginning to wonder if they truly know what the meaning of the word is. In walks Jase a ghost from the past and his lady love Brie, who are in search of her missing sister Nadine. Little did they know they have stumbled across a sex slave ring.
We are introduced to some new players as well as old favorites. Just when you think you have things figured out there is a new twists and turns. This story will keep you on your toes just clear your calendar you will not be able to put it down.

Samantha Cole is brilliant! She has the ability to combine military ops, suspense, thrills, BDSM, and romance in a very unique and special way. I knew I'd love this book the moment I started it. Ms. Cole is one of my favorite authors and has never disappointed. From the moment I picked up my Kindle, I couldn't stop reading. The complexity of the story, the totally unexpected events, the individual relationships, and the unique locations make this a riveting story. My favorite parts of this book involved the complex relationships between the Jase and Brie, the Sawyers, and Carter and Jordyn. I adore the BDSM lifestyle, and Samantha Cole is always on point with all the details regarding the lifestyle. This book is literally a roller coaster of highs and lows, ups and downs. I was captivated by the fact that nothing is as it seems in this book. I laughed, cried, wanted to scream in frustration and slap a few heads too. I fell in love with every character in this book. Samantha Cole's talent as an author is unparalleled. In my opinion, this is the best book yet in this series. I give Salvaging His Soul my very highest recommendation!

Salvaging His Soul was an incredible treat for fans and readers of the Trident Security Series! While Samantha A Cole has been focusing on her spin off to the original sexy six pack team, which has been phenomenal, she revisits members of the Alpha team when readers least expected it.
Trying to outrun his past, Jase Atwood, an ex-Patriot and sometimes contractor for Trident Security has been living on the island of Caicos. Knowing he has no real future to speak of, he opts for no serious relationships and hooks up with Brie Hanson, a local bar.
Brie has been living in Caicos with her sister since she was ten. She took over Daddy-O’s a local bar when her father died and is enjoying her no strings attached relationship with Jase. They are both having fun and Jase has been slowly introducing Brie to some light BDSM. Everything changes, however, when Brie’s younger sister disappears and Jase discovers there is much more to it than a simple kidnapping.
Jase’s past and present collide when he and Brie are tracking down leads and happen to run into some of the Trident team and their significant others who happen to be vacationing in the Islands. Sparks fly as secrets unfold and truths are revealed. Plus, Jase and the rest of the Trident team need to save Brie’s sister before she disappears for good.
I loved the characters of Jase and Brie. Jase’s back story packs quite the punch and explains something Trident fans didn’t even realize they were missing. Brie is sassy and independent, yet has to rely on Jase’s help to find her sister. They are a fantastic couple, once they both realize what they really want and need from each other.
The plot is fast paced and suspenseful. It is also full of humor. Some of the interactions between the Trident team had me literally laughing out loud . . . especially as Boss Man Ian continues spice up his vocabulary with some colorful new insults as well as his delightful and ever present sarcasm.
If you are a fan of the series, Salvaging His Soul is not to be missed. As Samantha A Cole promised, it really is the story that no one saw coming! 5 stars!

Before i start, i have to say.... DAMN!!! it never gets old to read all these alpha, super hot men..
i mean just having in a room with Ian, Carter and Jase was enough for me to want to be kidnapped and saved by this guys lol ....
When I first met Jase at His Angel, i didn't really like him that much because, well i was rooting for Ian but i have to say it was a very pleasant surprise to see him in Salvaging His Soul... not only i got to meet more of him and see his natural Dom side but also i got to see his gentleman side and that speaks very loud about him...
Jase was hiding from his past, trying to just live in the present and don't even want to look too much into the future. He works as a mercenary and that's one of the reasons he is not looking in to anything permanent or anything that has to do with relationships.. Jase has a "Friends with benefit" relationship with Brie. Brie is the owner of Daddy-Os a bar that is located on the Island of Caicos a favorite places among the tourist .... Jase and Brie where "comfortable" with their arrangement, non strings attached, until something happened that change everything forever...
Jase has been hiding for a while at the island, trying to build a new life, hiding from his past including people who knew him, specially close friends... Everybody though he was dead (except the TSS) but as i said everything changed. When Brie's sister disappear, she asked him to help her find her, together they take on a trip to search for Nadine, Brie's sister and thats when everything starts to collapse .. when people recognizes Jase, good old friendships are going to be at stake...
Salvaging His Soul has many moment that i really love, like: When Ian punched.... (not saying names) but lets say he totally deserve it lol ... when Jase gets super jealous after seeing the beautiful Brie wearing something super sexy, that highlights her curvaceous figure... i love that we get to see a lot of the TSSSMHG (Trident Security Service Super Mega Hot Guys) specially Jake and Nick (fanning myself over here) in action.. i love also that twist, which by the way i totally didn't saw that one coming

The best of the best was ... Carter and Jordyn scene Damn!!! super mega hot!!! i love these two .. and Jordyn is definitely one of my favorite female characters.. just because she kicks a** big time...
Another hot one.. the scene when Jase is telling Brie what to do and where to touch ... Damn!!
AND the twist at the end WOW... lets me just say this .. next book seems like the sex and the chemistry of the characters is going to be B.A.L.L.I.S.T.I.C.... because the heroin is not only super flirty, she is also known among the Trident Men to be a very forward female.. so i can figure she is going to really be, very intune with her sexuality ... ok ok i'm getting way ahead and super excited but to tell you the truth since i read about her in the other Trident books I've been waiting to see more about her... hell to the yea!!!
what i like about The Trident Security Series is that in every new book, like Salvaging His Soul we get to see all the characters we've been in love with .. I've been reading this series since the beginning and i can tell you how nice is to see, the evolution of all the characters..
and last but not least .... there is a surprise at the end of the book, a bonus you should look into it... you are going to love it!!

Salvaging His Soul is the next story in the Trident Series. The story revolved around Jase and Brie who met on the island of Caicos. With the story set on the island, I can't help but fall in love with these characters. The chemistry and the easy banters between them remind me of how possible it is to find love when you least expect it. Jase thought that he is incapable of loving someone with his heart and soul. But with Brie's sister's life at stake, he will stop at nothing to help her. Brie can't help but fall in love with Jase. But is she really willing to give it all to a man who proclaimed that he is unsalvageable?
I must say that Ms. Cole did not disappoint. This story is fast-paced and has the right balance of wit, humor and emotional angst. She understood the emotions of losing someone and the fear of the unknown. Along the way, she warmed our hearts with characters who are strong, yet gentle, caring and protective to a degree. This story has light elements of the BDSM lifestyle which were interpreted as accurately as possible with simple creativity. Ms. Cole re-affirms that the lifestyle requires trust, honesty, respect and open communication for the relationship to work. As I have come to know Ms. Cole's work, she never writes perfect characters. She made it possible for her readers to connect with characters who are flawed. After all, it wouldn't be fun if you can't laugh or get angry with the characters that you want to hit them too. I love the HEA ending wrapped neatly for this couple--- a must for me. I must say that Ms. Cole did not disappoint. This story is fast-paced and has the right balance of wit, humor and emotional angst. She understood the emotions of losing someone and the fear of the unknown. Along the way, she warmed our hearts with characters who are strong, yet gentle, caring and protective to a degree. This story has light elements of the BDSM lifestyle which were interpreted as accurately as possible with simple creativity. Ms. Cole re-affirms that the lifestyle requires trust, honesty, respect and open communication for the relationship to work. I gave up guessing what Samantha Cole would throw into her books a long time ago, so the huge surprise in this book wasn’t as big a surprise as I had thought. In saying that, I in no way saw that coming. Once again Samantha pulls out a great story that I couldn't stop page turning.
I'm at a loss as how to review this book without giving everything away, so I'm just gong to say this is a 100% must read of you have followed the Trident crew. A story is a story but this one had a huge curve ball where I was left with the WTF look on my face.
Jase Atwood is running from his past, but rolls in the sheets with bar owner Brie Hanson, make everything better. Living life under the radar is one thing, but keeping safe is another. Life can change in an instant as this sweet as couple are about to discover. When Brie’s sister goes missing everything is put on the line to find and save her. This process will see Jase come face to face with his past. That past devastated him and those around him. Feelings and lives were thrown into ruins, now Jase will find himself reliving that past while dealing with a kidnapped women. The sister of the woman he loves.
Brie will not only work through the loss of her sister, but the bombshell that could ruin everything that her and Jase have will have her questioning the man she had fallen in love with. Along with heart stopping action, the Trident crew, the sexy alphas and some serious heat and steam, you'll not want to put it down but be gasping for the ending.

5 stars aren't enough! This book was amazing!
Jase Atwood is a hot as hell, Alpha male with a mysterious past (I'll say!) who moved to Caicos for some peace. All in all, he seemed to have a pretty good life, a job that more than pays the bills and keeps the adrenaline pumping, a side job that let's him get away from it all, and a FWB arrangement with a local bar owner that keeps them both more than satisfied, except there are things he can never share.
Brie, owner of Daddy O's and all-around good girl, didn't have time for a real relationship anyway. She's too busy trying to run her bar, keep her father's legacy alive and keep her kid sister out of trouble. No, the arrangement she and Jase have suits her just fine. The man lights her up like no one ever has and it'll go until it fizzles out.

If I have learned anything about Samantha Coles writing style it’s to expect the unexpected and never and I mean NEVER assume you know what’s about to happen. By the same token, when the Trident DOMs are involved, you can expect humor, suspense, hot erotic escapes and lots of alpha testosterone when it comes to protecting their women. Needless to say, her storytelling skills are top notch and I Highly Recommend her works.
What an amazing addition to the Trident Security series Salvaging His Soul is. Jase and Brie have such chemistry together that it’s absolutely drool worthy to step into their love life. But Jase’s past and life choices won't let him even contemplate a permanent relationship, so the friends with benefits relationship he has Brie is perfect. Or is it?
When disaster strikes and Jase and Brie are faced with horrific situations. Salvaging His Soul by Samantha A Cole 5* Sept 18-19th
Plenty of suspense in the build up of this story towards the finale. Lots of surprise characters turning up on this beautiful island, such a shame it isn’t for pleasure or at least mostly. When Brie’s sister goes missing Jase insists on going with her to help find Nadine, when they arrive they bump into some other visitors also staying in the hotel. The story is well written and any fan of the Trident Series wouldnt want to miss this one, I loved it and all the characters. Contains some BDSM scenes as well which is explicit but nothing hard core. I could say so much more but suffice to say there is a lot in this story including the characters most of whom are favorite’s of mine which made this so enjoyable, the banter as well as the alpha maleness is at an all time high and had me grinning as I was reading. The actual subject matter is very serious though so I was glad when things got sorted. These books always leave me wanting more which means I have to wait for the author to write more, but it is so worth it when she does.

So. I did not want to jump in to writing a review for this book because I wasn't too sure what to write.
I was in total shock with the twist Samantha A Cole put into this story. It was one I don't think any of the readers who have read her series will see coming.
This story follows Jase and Brie. Neither one has time for a relationship (or thats what they keep telling each other) due to work and other emotional baggage. They are just out for a bit of fun.
But when Brie's sister goes missing they travel to a nearby island in search of answers. Little does Jase know, his past is about to catch up with him. Could this jeopardise what he has with Brie or will it make them both open their eyes to what is right in front of them?
In true Samamtha A Cole fashion she throws a total curve ball into the mix. You will never see what is coming. It was the part of the story that left me in pure shock.
We also get to meet up with some of the Sexy Six Pack and other members from the previous series.
I wonder what will come next from the Sexy Six Pack? I can't wait to read more from them and the Omega Team.

Lots of surprises in this book. Highly charged with emotions running deep. Thia is Jase and Brie's story. Friends with benefits is how the like to think of themselves. He thinks he is incapable of falling in love and giving his all to a woman. She thinks she has too much on her plate running the business that her father left to her and her fly by night sister. A little over a year ago Jase and Brie began their current relationship and when he introduced her to the BDSM lifestyle. Jase and Brie's first foray into D/s is incendiary.
Jase and Brie run into Ian and Angie, Carter and Jordyn while on a quest to discover the whereabouts of Brie's sister. It quickly becomes apparent that this quest requires more than two people. The mission undertaken by Jase and the Trident Security teams was "edge of your seat, hold your breath" thrilling.
This book has something for everyone from danger to humor to BDSM play to steamy love scenes to romance Samantha A. Cole has created a thoroughly entertaining, exciting and enjoyable book with characters from previous books interwoven in the story it's like reconnecting with old friends.

Samantha Cole is known for her alpha military men and the kick ass women they fall in love with. Salvaging His Soul lives up to the exacting detailed book that this author makes look easy. This is a part of the Trident Security series that we all know and love. It was nice to get caught up with some of my favorite characters as Ian Sawyer and his wife Angie and Carter and Jordan have major roles in this book. Jase and Brie are a great couple both denying the extent of their feelings for each other until Nadine Brie's sister goes missing. Through the search for Nadine this book is full of kidnappings, human trafficking and some truly evil men. The mastery with which Cole keeps all the different story lines uncomplicated is a true estimate of her writing prowess. As always the HEA that Jase and Brie find are the main focus and all the rest fades into the backgrounds as this couple finds happiness. Be prepared for suspenseful twists and turns as this story comes to it's completion.

I have read all of the Trident Series and the sequel series, The Omega Team, and I DID NOT see this one coming!!

Oh boy....fans of this series won't know what hit them with this book. I had no clue going in, only the synopsis from Sam, boy did I not cotton on until it hit me slap up side my head!!! Jase was hot and sexy, I was intrigued from the start and I thought this was gonna be just another case the Trident guys go on. No big deal, right? Oh no. Things get turned on their head with this book. Be prepared to go on a roller coaster of a ride. Sam you are one clever and devious woman. I absolutely loved it and not just because of our favourite guys. We get to see our favs, the sexy six pack, but everything else too. No spoilers, let's just say you won't want to miss this book at all!!! Grab it as soon as you can ladies. Highly recommend this book.

This book is fantastic! I literally could not put it down and read it in one night. It has all of the suspense and intrigue and hot scenes that Samantha A Cole brings to her books. Plus there is a twist I never saw coming. I love this author! Ok, a little about the book...Jase Atwood, who does some out sourced work for Trident Security, helps his friend (with benefits), Brie Hanson find her missing sister on St Lucia. We get to hear from most of the Sexy Six Pack plus Carter and Jordyn. Ian is his sarcastic lovable self and has come up with a great nickname for Jase but you'll have to read the book to find out because this review will not see the light of day if I mention it here lol. You really need to get this one now and find out what the men at Trident Security are up to.

She is busy running the family bar and doesn't have the time are inclination for a relationship. A series of events has both of them questioning their true feelings and their relationship in general.

OMFG!!! I absolutely loved this story... and as with all of Ms Cole's books... I couldn't put it down once I started!!! (I was up until almost 5am!)

I have so thoroughly enjoyed this series of books. The combination of Military/Security and missions with romance is something I have always enjoyed. Adds a little excitement, maybe suspense or thrill. If someone had told me that I would get this enthralled with a series including BDSM, I'd have smacked them but I'll tell you. Samantha Cole has outdone herself with this series and these books and she has represented this lifestyle in its very best light.
This story takes place far away in the tropics and we meet "Jase" and Brie and follow them to St Lucia where they go to find / rescue Brie's sister. It's a great big reunion when they run into Ian/Angie and Carter/Jordyn arriving for vacation.
Never a dull moment in Sam's books. Love, lust, some kink, bad guys going down and plenty of sass and good natured ribbing. One big disFUNctional family of ex-military badasses.

Everyone has those series where every time a book comes out, you have to stop and read it. The Trident Security Series is one for me. Huge fan of the guys from Trident and the woman that claim their hearts. This book brings back two of my favorites, Ian and Angie as well as Carter and Jordyn. Add in Jase who has a connection to Trident I never anticipated. Jase and Brie are in a no commitment relationship. When something happens and they are thrown into a situation of danger, their story as they not only save someone close to them but also look at what they want for the future was a story I so enjoyed. I could not have asked for a better story from one of my favorite authors.

Boy has Jase met his match in Brie -- he just hasn't exactly figured it out yet! This is an action packed book with lots of the good things Samantha brings to her works -- lust, love, adventure, friendship, loyalty and plenty of heat.
I enjoyed the story of Jase and how he came to be living in the islands but was surprised by some of that backstory. Needless to say, some of the characters were surprised as well and that added some a contentious edge I wasn't expecting.
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and was thrilled and privileged to do so. If you enjoy all things Trident, you need to read this book!

The author has asked that reviews do not spoil the twist for this book, so it's kind of difficult to review that way. I will say that while the first few books in the Trident Security series can be read as mostly stand-alones, this one cannot, since multiple characters from the earlier books appear in this one, helping mysterious mercenary Jace and independent bar owner Brie find Brie's sister, who has been captured by human traffickers. It's a really great book and I love Jace and Brie's story, however the book gets very crowded when the supporting characters connect with our main couple, and takes away a bit from their story.

Well what can I say. I loved it. I honestly never twigged from the teasers that Jase was in fact Jimmy. I loved how we see his character developing in "the lifestyle" considering he was very anti towards it in "His Angel". Loved how Angies reputation managed to make all those alpha men dread her reaction to Jase. It was great to hear snippets about the other couples too. I loved Lady Cara. It had me gripped from start to finish. Can't wait for the next one.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
