I really do like this series. It's a regular paranormal male meets female wolf, realises they are life mates and overcome all the obstacles that they've kept hidden for centuries. The difference with this set of books is the link to Norse mythology.

The brotherhood were created by the goddess Angrboda as a kind of werewolf superhero team meant to protect the Arctic race of werewolves from enemies such as Fenrir the giant wolf (son of Angrboda and Loki). This is where the books originality comes

3.5 Stars - 3 Flames

It's nice returning to the Brotherhood series. I can admit, I've missed these guys. Add in the drama with Fenrir, that crazy God, and we're in for yet another bumpy ride.. Remember that biker girl that was picked up by Samson in book 2? This is her story....ok, and Sebastian's.

Cindy had been living with Hendrick for the past four years. Well, up until 6 months ago when he was murdered. She's still living at the house and carrying out the "housekeeping/best friend" duties, bu

Oh boy, the blurb for this series claims it will keep you on the edge of your seat - and they're not kidding! I'd previously read all the earlier titles in this series and couldn't wait to read more and I wasn't disappointed. The story is a suspense filled paranormal romance with myths and legends added too. It is a real page turner, that had me hooked from start to finish - and then I just had to move on to read the final book in the series straight away - I'm so glad it was available without m ...more

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***I choose what I read and review based on what intrigues me!! Yes, I received a review copy of this book, but no one tells me what to think, feel, or write about any book!

This is the 5th book in the series, and it is for adults only due to the violence and steamy content. While not required, I highly recommend reading the series in order because it makes it more everything when you do.

This is Sebastian and Cindy’s story, but they have a hard ti

I rate this Book 3 Stars

While reading it’s apparent you should read the books previous to this one, so you can understand who’s who and a better standing of what’s going on. I obviously did not go by that, therefore the one reading this review gets a heads up. Since I’ve been looking for a good paranormal romance, this one got my attention not only by the lovely cover but also the synopsis sounded pretty dang. Going in I was having quite a few head

Cindy performed her weekly ritual at Hendriks memorial. Six months had passed since Hendrix's murder and Cindy still couldn't shake off the lethargy since Hendrix had died. The Brotherhood couldn't allow Hendriks remains to be found or tests would show Hendrix who was a prominent Alaskan senator was actually an Arctic werewolf. Almost nine years had passed since Samson Lee- one of the Brotherhood- had rescued Cindy from the motorcycle gang that had kidnapped her. then Samson had taken Cindy to K ...more

Wolf Hunter by Jane Godman is the 5th book in her Arctic Brotherood series. I have enjoyed this series, as they are fun, exciting and quick reads. A brief refresher: Arctic Brotherhood is a shifter series, with an ancient species of Arctic werewolves, who are part of the 7 members of the Brotherhood of the Midnight Sun.

In the last book, one of the members (Hendrik) of the Arctic Brotherhood was murdered, and the villain, Chastel has once again escaped. Six months have passed, and Sebastian Novak

Most assumed that Cindy was Hendrik’s mate, truth couldn’t have been further away from that idea. Yes, they were friends, best friends even and Cindy took care of Hendrik’s home – her official title was housekeeper. But there was nothing more between them beyond the love of a good friend. Cindy, like all of the pack members, was destroyed at Hendrik’s death. She still lives in his home, still continues to care for the place almost as if he’d walk back in one moment,

Let me start off telling you that Wolf Hunter is the first that I have read in the Artic Brotherhood series and I really have to question my lack of judgement in missing out on this thrilling series.

In relation to the above statement, the author let information trickle into the story in just the right way to provide me with enough of the back story to pick up on the major conflict of the series without giving too much away or letting it take up too much of the current story. So the book can be r

Wolf Hunter is the fifth book in the Arctic Brotherhood series, and we finally have Sebastian and Cindy's story. The hints were there for these two, but we have had to wait until now to read all about them. Cindy has no idea how to tell the people that she regards as family that she was Hendrick's best friend, not lover. They all assume she has taken his bite, become his mate, and is now a werewolf. Even Sebastian, although the thought of that gives him feelings that he is not prepared to deal w ...more

Wolf Hunter by Jane Goodman is the fifth book in the Arctic Brotherhood series. This series for me is best read in order. You need the backstory to understand the stories going forward. I have read them all so far and love them.
In this story, Cindy has been a companion to Hendrick. Everyone has thought they were mates. Now Hendrick is dead. Cindy wants to preserve his memory and doesn’t want to tell people they were not really mates. More like best friends. She is confused about everything. She

Wolf Hunter, Arctic Brotherhood Book 5 by Jane Godman is a fast-paced action-packed continuation of the Artic Brotherhood fight against their enemies. The two main characters have been supporting characters in the previous books. Cindy had been the late Hendrik Rickard’s friend and housekeeper after being rescued by Samson from a biker gang. This happened in book two of the series. Artic Wolf, Sebastian has been denying having feelings for her. It is about time these two receive their story!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I have loved this ongoing battle against Fenrir and Chastel while each member of the brotherhood finds their mate. It is great that there is enough detail that helps explain what has happened in previous books for those who have not read earlier books in the series and for people like me who don't remember all the details!

This book, Sebastian finds his mate but not until after much denial on his part! Everyone just assumed that Cindy was Henrik's ma

Wolf Hunter is the fifth book in the exciting Arctic Brotherhood series by bestselling author Jane Godman. An intense, action packed, romantic suspense that's a definite must read! Wolf Hunter is the 5th book in the Arctic Brotherhood series written by Jane Godman. Whereas, I only read one book besides this one. I am totally regretting not reading this series from the beginning.
The world of the Arctic Brotherhood is dealing with the loss of one of their own. But, no one is more so than Cindy. Hendrik was more than a best friend, he was a safety net since the time she was placed in his care. But now that he is gone, and strange things are happening, she has nowhere to turn

Received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review.
I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. All the other ones did get a 4-star review, though.
Sebastian and Cindy make a great couple. If you read the other books, you would have seen the couple gradually gravitating towards each other. Great sex scenes. Profound meaning, not just sex; it's poignant sometimes (and playful at other times).
Plenty of action; plenty of emotions to go through; plenty of suspense and mystery.
Book 5 we rejoin the brotherhood but this time with Sensation. He's the thinker of the group, but he is struggling because of his need for Cindy.

You need to read the books in order not onmly to follow the plot line as it extends through each book building up..... but you meet Cindy earlier in the series.

It was good and I wanted to rate it higher but I feel the action part of the book took a back seat. After all the build up the way the villains were dealt with felt a bit eh.... I've reached my

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First time reading this author. This is number 5 in the series and I have not read any of the earlier..ones. It is not the best stand alone but you can do it. You will be a little confused but power through it. The characters are likable and entertaining. It's a quick fun read. I personally don't like the god aspect but don't let that stop you. I rate this a 3.5. I think most paranormal romance readers will enjoy thi ...more

The Arctic Brotherhood is a wonderful series that continues to enthral readers with each new instalment.

Sebastian and Cindy’s story is packed full of the same turmoil, action and danger that have been so prevalent in previous stories, while depicting the scorching intensity of the attraction between these wonderful characters.

The fabulous world building remains and the array of support characters lets us know there are still books to come. Wolf Hunter is another great story to whet the appetite

I liked this book. I do feel you need to read the previous ones to fully enjoy the world built though. The author did a good job of explaining without over-explaining what was happening to lead them to this point.

I thought Sebastian and Cindy were a great match for each other. A fast, fun read. Plenty of action, with just enough romance thrown in.
