Sweet, heartwarming romance. Carrie Logan, the local photographer and granddaughter of the town's founder is shocked to find her website compromised and a boudoir picture of hers taken when she was an art student is easily accessible online. Her search for a security expert to fix her problem leads her to Ethan Nash, who'd moved to the town of Sweetheart four years ago and is living with his three awesome dogs in a heritage house that the local mayor had been eyeing. Ethan didn't know by giving ...more

Read/review for Tule and author for a honest opinion

Her Secret Protector a great addition to the Secrets of Cherry Lake series. Characters that just pulled me with a great storyline. And who couldn't resist the dogs in the story. I'm looking forward to reading more in this series and more by this author.

Forever Yours, Sweetheart was pretty cute. A photographer with a naughty secret and a hacked website. A reclusive cyber security guy with an image problem in the small town he's now living in. Maybe working together to fix each other's problems. And a pack of pups thrown in for good measure. It was cute.

I liked Carrie and Ethan. They're both dealing with family and expectations and life's that aren't quite what they hoped. Carrie is massively talented and has a kind heart. Et

Misconceptions. Small town gossip. Combine those and you have a disaster about to happen. Ethan had moved to Cherry Lake about four years ago. He hadn’t taken time to make friends, court the local citizens nor to even think how his non-actions would appear to his neighbors. He’d been nursing some wounds of his own at the time and the move to Cherry Lake was a fresh start. He didn’t know that he had outbid the Mayor over the property he now called home. Or that w

Her Secret Protector by Roxanne Snopek proves secrets never stay secret and love can be found at the most unexpected time!

Small town judgment and dysfunction play a big role in Her Secret Protector...Harmless boudoir photos are suddenly causing way too many problems! For me this was a big part of the plot...as big as the romantic journey of Ethan and Carrie. Roxanne made Cherry Lake and the people there feel very real, but not a place I'd like to be. I didn't really care for the judgmental, non-

He agrees to help her with her website although he us used to working for large corporations and in government security.

The fun begins with a trade for services when he wants her help to improve his public image in the small town where he is considered an outsider and loner. Rumor has it he lives in a fortress with bar

I wanted to like this book but I just found it too slow. And I wasn't all that convinced by the chemistry between the two main characters.

Points for having dogs in the story though.

What a great addition to a brilliant series! I am so impressed with how although written by different authors the stories have interlinking plots so, for example, the story about Jess Palmer and Damon Brand which was told in Her Secret Love by Paula Altenburg is also interwoven into this story which mainly concerns Jess’ s cousin Carrie Logan and her relationship with Ethan Nash. I don’t think it would matter if you haven’t read the other books in the series, they are all powerfully written so y ...more

This was such a great read. It's the right mix of laughs, family, heartache and happily ever after. Just all around a happy read for anyone who enjoys HEAs.

This is the 4th book in the Secrets of Cherry Lake series (5th if you're counting the prequel novella) and features good girl Carrie. She's pretty much always been the good one, the one her family can count on not to stir things up or create trouble. But that's not Carrie. She runs a photography business taking wholesome family pictures, scho

I always feel at home when I'm reading Roxanne Snopek's books. Filled with warmth, a bit of heartache, a healthy dose of prejudice, and hope for a better future, Her Secret Protector delivered on my expectations. The fourth in the Secrets of Cherry Lake series, this book stands up just fine by itself though you'll enjoy a richer and more meaningful reading experience if you read the earlier books in the series first. And they're all really good books too, so why wouldn't you?

When I read, "Her Secret Love" (which is about her cousin Jess), Carrie was mentioned too. I did wonder what Carrie's story was going to be.
I think that I can say that this story is my favorite one so far in the Cherry Lake series. Part of it I think is because of how controlled and carefully contained Carrie was. And how there was so much of her personality and wildness (in a good way) there was to her. She was so busy keeping her image of good girl, lining up to the need to keep the family na

Note: This ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Carrie is the girl whose reputation in Cherry Lake is beyond reproach while Ethan's has already been tarnished even before he was able to make any sort of actual effort to become part of the community. One of the known negatives of being part of a close-knit town like Cherry Lake is the propensity for gossip to spread like wildfire, but then that's something that I doub

Her Secret Protector (Secrets of Cherry Lake Book 4) by Roxanne Snopek is just wonderful. There is a believable story-line with honestly authentic characters who own lovable animals. Now we all know dog lovers and cat lovers do go together. Carrie thinks she needs Ethan’s help and she does, but not nearly as much as he needs her. I loved these two together despite Ethan’s relationship fence sitting.

I could empathize with Carrie. Small towns can be judgmental in the worse sort of way. Unlike big

A great addition to Secrets of Cherry Lake. Everyone has secrets in Cherry Lake. This is the story of Carrie, photographer who in the beginning of her career did some glamour shots that she did not want the community to know about, but somehow a hacker got into her account. She seeks help from newcomer, Ethan, a cyber specialist to help her out. Ethan has secrets of his own, too. They both turn to each other to help better them selves with the community.

A story from the Cherry Lake series, this book is about Carrie and Ethan. Carrie grew up in Cherry Lake and is what everyone considers a good girl. Ethan has lived there for about 3 years, but keeps to himself so the other residents don't know what to think about him. An awesome addition to the Cherry Lake series! I love this author's writing style and the way she entwines the animals into the story. In this one Ethan Nash has lived in Cherry Lake for four years but has always held himself back and never really gotten to know any of the people in town. He meets Carrie Logan when she has an internet security breach to her website that could have devastating and embarrassing repercussions to her business and personally. I really did not expect to like this story as much as I did. Once again Roxanne Snopek surprised me. Her Secret Protector takes a look at how a young girl made a bad choice that comes back to haunt her years later. Carrie needs help. She turns to Ethan and sparks fly. While trying to fix a devastating security breach these two individuals loners start to find something special. Roxanne Snopek has a way of steering a love story from ordinary to extraordinary.

I enjoyed this story and the small town living in Cherry Lake. Carrie is a photographer who loves her career, until a job from her past threatens her future. She turns to Ethan for his professional help, which he gives begrudgingly. My favorite character in this series is hands down Aunt Pansy, who never fails to lighten any situation!

Let me tell you about this Forever Yours, Sweetheart and why I loved this book. This book shows all the good and bad about small town living. You know small towns seem to always have that "special cyber link" where they know everything and your feel like they have every right to judge you about what you do and used to do. Then you have the other side of the street...the wonderful folks who really do no give a flying fig what you do with life or camera in Carrie Logan's case.

Enjoyable

Good girl Carrie Logan is a photographer with a secret. Ethan Nash has more than one secret. Living in a small town like Sweetheart, their secrets can ruin them if they are exposed. Carrie needs Ethan to keep her secret covered and Ethan needs Carrie to be accepted in the small town. But is that a good idea? This is an engaging story of sweet romance. The lovable dogs only add to the entertaining quality of the book. I loved it. Great job.
