Actual rating: 7.75/10 I love her work and her playlist. This one book seemed so real..initially atleast. Too close to reality to be honest. I was able to connect with Aiko at a personal and professional level...God. The quotes from TMIOMS <3 Characterisation and where they come from was so perfect. This one started as a guilty pleasure, but it did become one of fav contemporary romance. The plot was good and new. The tongue in cheek dialogues, which make me pick up her work, great as always. The setting too had me craving for a holiday by the beach and waiting for summer ever more now. But the best part was how relatable it felt and surreal at the same time, if it makes sense at all. It so well managed to capture the struggles of today's relationship in some way or the other. I love these stories with a strong protagonist who has a brain and a mouth as fast as she's pretty. Clichéd but their romances are more interesting and worth it, it seems.
