I can’t hold her.

I can’t speak to her.

I can’t even see her.

The most important piece of my life is gone.

I had everything.

I had Winnie.

And just like that, my unconditional love vanished.

Picking up the pieces is impossible.

There’s no easy way to fall out of love.

But that’s exactly what I have to do.

The Edge of Heaven is the emotional conclusion to Wrong Side of Heaven.

I only read the first chapter to know what happened after the end of Wrong Side of Heaven.
And, I don't think my opinion will change, since I didn't like how the situation unfolded here.
So, I'll pass.

This was far from the ending that I was anticipating, but it was the kind of ending that this story needed...

Only moments after devouring Wrong Side of Heaven, book one in the Broken Wings Duet, I just knew that The Edge of Heaven was going to destroy me when I finally managed to get my hands on a copy. Let me just say that is exactly what happened and I am still left processing my feelings hours after finishing. My heart was ripped right out of my

Gia Riley gave the phrase, “Started With A Bang” a new meaning.

From the beginning, I sat at the end of my seat, waiting to see which shoe will fall off next.

Both Book 1 - “Wrong Side Of Heaven” and Book 2 - “The Edge of Heaven” left me emotionally drained.

I struggle emotionally to the very end. I surprised myself with the person I fell in love with. So many turns and twist that I didn’t see coming.

Loving someone is never easy. Sometimes, the right thing is not what our heart will follow. At the

Gia Riley follows the Wrong Side of Heaven with an equally dark and emotional story in the Edge of Heaven. We pick up where the Wrong side of heaven left us and it is a emotional ride.

Trey’s love and devotion to Winnie comes with a price and boy does he pay it to keep her safe. You also see the obsession Trey is for Winnie. She equate someone who has been there for her throughout her life to love that is beyond what you would feel for a family member or friend. Winnie goes to unbelievable lengt

The Edge of Heaven by Author Gia Riley is book two in the Broken Wings Duet. It is a coming-of-age romance, mixed with a form of a hybrid love triangle, and a splash of the forbidden.

“...sometimes, we had to get knocked down lower than we’d ever been in order to appreciate the possibility of more. I had another chance to pick and choose which piece of myself to bring along with me, and then I’d leave the rest behind. It wouldn’t be easy, but this time, I wanted to rise higher than ever

Gia Riley has followed up “Wrong Side Of Heaven” book 1 with book 2 “The Edge of Heaven” and I have to say I am left completely and emotionally drained. I am not sure what to think. I started feeling one way and ended up feeling another way. Ms. Riley has a way of drawing you into the characters’, of having you feeling exactly how they feel, of meshing you into the characters’ lives in such a way that you never want the story to end yet you root for one outcome, when another takes place. Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...Wow, prepare to be on your toes..We have the ending and let me tell you the journey was heart-breaking, but intriguing so it kept your interest. That my friends is a good story when you can't turn the pages fast enough..The Edge of Heaven was like nothing I've ever read. Riveting, unexpected and heart-breaking, this book will have you hooked until the very end.

this was one amazing and emotional roller coaster. This was my first ever books ive read by Gia Riley and surely wont be my last. I never felt so connected, so entwine with the characters i was sad to see it end. My hesrt was shattered. But my eyes was happy because i wasnt crying anymore. I highly recommended reading this novel.

I had so many expectations of what I thought would happen and what I wanted to happen in this second book, after the ending of book one I was quite anxious.

The one character I always routed for was Winnie, she needs someone on her side fighting for her, protecting her and above all loving her unconditionally. I know who I want that to be and I’m sure you’ll have your own favourite. This is a very unconventional love story but for me the real story was Winnie realising her worth.

Gia Riley took everything you thought you knew, thought would happen, and expected from this story and put it in a box and ran it over with a semi. Hopes and dreams- gone. Beliefs and expectations- decimated. But what she gives you in return is far more beautiful than everything you thought you wanted. Trust me. You say you wanted it but the actual resolution is far more fulfilling on a personal level than anything else could have been.

Don't get me wrong, I totally have a favorite. I had a perf

After the deeply poignant intensity of Wrong Side of Heaven, I was expecting something completely earth-shattering and fantastically therapeutic. While this book was quite an addictive read and kept me completely engrossed from the first page, it didn’t quite live up to the enormity of its predecessor. I was shocked by how completely different the book from what I expected.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

The Edge of Heaven is the second book in the Broken Wings Duet. You must read Wrong Side of Heaven before reading this one or you are going to be so lost it's not even funny.

When I said I would kill for her, I meant it. When I said I would die for her, I meant that too. But protection comes with a price and so does my life. I can't hold her. I can't speak to her. I can't even see her. The most impor

If I thought the first book in this duet was intense then I don't know what word to use to describe The Edge of Heaven. Heavy, emotional, freeing- I'll start with those. I'm so glad this picked up right where the first book left off because I just had to know what happened- and to whom. I think my heart started pounding as soon as I cracked the cover.

I really liked the different view points of each character this was told in. Everyone got their side of the story told- Jasper, Winner and Trey. Al

I was NOT expecting this conclusion. Story picks up from the tragedy in Book 1 that left me gasping. That is resolved pretty quickly and then Book 2 just continues with Winnie’s journey.

You see so much happen to her some good some bad. It’s a love story and then again it isn’t. They are moments when I wanted to shake all characters in the book. This is one hard review to write because I don’t want to spoil and give away what happens. All I know is that I wasn’t expecting that ending and that the

Gia Riley came into my life by chance, but choice will keep her as one of my favorite authors.

The Edge of Heaven was a beautiful, heartwrenching conclusion to the Broken Wings Duet. After reading Wrong Side of Heaven, I thought I had the storyline all worked out in my mind and my heart as to where I wanted to see Winnie in terms of Jasper and Trey. Gia took me on a journey that had me changing my feelings and thoughts throughout. At times I was like "No Winnie, no!!" and I would stop and think t

The Edge of Heaven is a continuation of Winnie's story. She struggled to find her self worth, and make more for herself. Unfortunately she was in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Her life changed instantly. She fought hard for the one she loved. Jasper was her true friend. He cared for her when everyone else didn't. Ultimately, Winnie needed to lose herself in order to find herself. This book takes you through a crazy rollercoaster of emotions. Sometimes you need to lose everything, and every ...more

The Edge of Heaven is book two in the Broken Wings Duet. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read Wrong Side of Heaven first. After reading the first one I really wasn't sure what to expect. In the beginning, my heart was in my throat, I wasn't sure if someone was going to die. This one is an emotionally read. I was on edge reading most of it and I couldn't read fast enough. Heartfelt.
Gut-wrenching.
Emotionally draining.
Gia Riley picked up right where Wrong Side of Heaven left off and brought me to my knees once again. The Edge of Heaven has so many deep twists and turns.
The ending was not what I expected, but I'm not disappointed with the book in the slightest. Once again, Gia Riley has brought me an amazing book with amazing characters.
Read this duet!

didn't care for as much as the first

where in the first I was intrigued the second one became a drag to me. And I am Sorry this is my personal opinion because with this I ended up hating the main character and the end felt like it didn't conclude as in the ending wasn't enough, I understand where the character needed that conclusion but maybe an extended epilogue would mend the prolonging of this story that could have ended in one book.

The duet is now complete, and I am still reeling. The Edge of Heaven by Gia Riley is the conclusion to her Broken Wings duet. This was such an emotional and heartbreaking journey. The characters will consume you and the story will captivate you from the beginning to end.

This was an amazing sequel to the first book. My heart had been put through the ringer with this series. I wanted so much for all the characters and was not disappointed. If I have one wish for this series it would be...EPILOGUE!! I personally want more closer.

The Broken Wings Duet was my first reading experience with author Gia Riley. I’m choosy when it comes to reading angst, so I was taking a leap of faith when I agreed to tackle the Wrong Side of Heaven, followed by The Edge of Heaven.

The books center on Winnie Dawes, a seventeen-year-old girl, who battles every day to survive. She fights for what few things belong to her and she has no one she can trust. A mysterious yet protective stranger moves into the trailer across from Winnie’s at just the

I hated that I had to wait for this book, mainly because I needed to know what the gunshot at the end of the first book was. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, until the end. I cried and had my heart racing throughout most of this book.
I was battling with myself over who I felt Winnie should be with. Trey was very selfish and not a good man, even though he always took great care of her (because he loved her). Jasper was a young man but he was always there for her and I got so mad at her at one poin

Bestselling author Gia Riley has been in love with writing romance since high school when she took her very first creative writing class. From the small but mighty state of Delaware, she’s a country girl at heart, traveling back to her roots in Pennsylvania as often as she can.

She’d rather pick truth than dare, bake than cook, and will always choose coffee over tea.

Just like life, her stories ar
