Start your review of Spilt Wine

The book description promised “…a gripping crime thriller…” and “…intensifying circumstances,” some of the main reasons I chose to read “Spilt Wine.” While the book has redeeming qualities, the story only briefly touches on its promise of being a thriller and it was for more mundane reasons than the intensity of the story that kept me turning pages.

Spilt Wine is an entertaining look into wine culture. It's a blend of informative subject matter and relationships between well-developed characters. I would agree with other reviews that it's not necessarily a 'gripping crime thriller', but that doesn't take away from the fact that this book was interesting and well-researched. The author's passion shines through in his writing.
