Sometimes the actions are worth the consequences.

I was never supposed to go to the Between. I was never supposed to fall in love with Caius. And yet, I’ve done both. Since stepping through that portal, I’ve done a lot of things I never thought I would.

Like coming face-to-face with a god. Or encountering the one person in all the worlds I didn’t want to meet. Or having

The second Raven’s Daughter book was just as exciting as the first! I loved the development of the relationship between Jo and Caius. As with all of A.D. Trosper’s books, the world building was fantastic. I loved the introduction of Nyx. Definitely a great character and I hope she plays a bigger part in the next book. The ending of the book was the best part. I won’t post any spoilers, but I’ll just say I was really happy with the way things came together. Can’t wait for the third book in the se ...more

So much happens in this book! Jo has become one of my all time favorite heroines. She overcomes so much and continues to grow and get stronger. Cauis is definitely a dreamboat! This story has it all and the narrators do a fabulous job of conveying the emotional roller coaster that this book takes you on!

Listened to the audiobook!

This is book 2 of the Raven Daughter series. Caius and Josephine, Jo, have been through near death experiences and are continuing their journey to save the Lost souls that are disappearing as soon as a person dies. Their journey is one of epic proportions as it is affirmed that Jo is the prophecy mentioned by Moragan. This is another cliff-hanger.

So far this series has been highly entertaining, fun and, at times, thought provoking. It has caused me to examine some of my deeply held beliefs. A very good thing to do periodically.

You won't feel Betrayed by this book, it delivers. (See there, I did it again)

You really should read Unveiled first and I will attempt to avoid spoilers. That said, I wholeheartedly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys a paranormal romance that has heart, a wonderful cast of characters and a good plot.

Snarky Jo and arrogant Caius are back, and I love them more with every page. As Jo comes to grips with the realities of her world, a world wherein her most trustworthy ally is a high-ranking

This second book in the series is just as good, if not better than the first. As the title suggests the theme of betrayal runs through various threads in the story. It is a unique, thrilling and sometimes heart wrenching story laced with action, battles, deceit, romance and prophecy. As the war prophesied by the Morrigan seems to be drawing nearer and nearer, Joe, Caius and their allies continue to try to find a solution to the Lost, while at the same time having to fight for their own survival. ...more

so addicting and swoon worthy!

LOVED it!! cant get enough of this series! Ive been a fan from day one and this world is so dark and intriguing but also so much heart ♥️ and swoony! I highlighted so many beautiful quotes from my demon Caius !!! Josephine and Caius finally bonded in the most romantic epic way possible. Everything is so crazy! The prophecy is almost complete... nothing is guaranteed!😭 Danger at every corner. Friends and Frenemies unite! And Jo’’s father makes an appearance 😭😭😭 Also

Our characters are at least as charming in Betrayed as they were in Unveiled and this one ends a little less precipitously, but still with plenty of room for the continuing story.

I couldn't help but be interested and found myself reading the book at every free opportunity so that's always a good sign. I found myself in charity with our main characters and invested in their struggles, which is about as high a compliment as I can give.

Love it!!

I can not put this book down until I finished it. So many things happening that I get so wrapped up with what is going to happen next. Already bought book 3 so I can continue with them on their adventure

4.5 stars, and probably better than the first book. We get a lot more of the other characters in this book, and the story is that much better for it. Jo’s friends, and Caius’ family play a much bigger role. And the relationship between Jo and Caius becomes stronger as they have to work together to uncover what’s happening to the lost souls. There are secrets revealed, and one big betrayal, and in between it all, the story continues to move at a good pace and be interesting to follow. There’s a p ...more

This story keeps getting better!

Narration is beautiful, love how you never have to question who’s speaking during dialogues.

Like with book 1, this book also has those sentences said by Caius after each chapter, while the rest is told from Jo’s pov. I love this concept and I’m glad is wasn’t exclusive for book 1. Those little tidbits give a little bit of insight to the story.
It’s a really welcome addition because some things Jo simply doesn’t know yet but Caius does.

Where is book 3??? I enjoyed both books 1 and 2 but don’t put them out without having the next book ready to go. It is hard to get into a series when you have to wait years to get the next one
