Every time I start a new book by the “shifters unbound” series, I know what I will read. I will read an excellent shifters' story. Jennifer Ashley always delivers. The world that she has had created with the collared shifters is unique and it keeps expanding. So, I really cannot imagine my life without a couple of books based on this world every year.

This time the story is about a character that we met briefly in the previous book, “Red Wolf”. Angus Murray helped Jaycee and Dimitri. We did not k

Midnight Wolf features Angus Murray, introduced in Red Wolf--he is a bouncer in the New Orleans club and joined Jaycee and Dimitri in their adventures. He's a growly black wolf with a ten-year-old cub he'll do anything for. He's assigned to bring in the fugitive Shifter Tamsin Calloway (a new character), but the wily Tamsin isn't ready to give up her freedom for a Collar and Shiftertown. She has many tricks up her sleeve to elude Angus (which drives him crazy), but soon she has to turn to him fo ...more

Dammit! Ashley made me cry. I was totally holding my shit together and then page 313 (out of 314) got me. Blasted grumbly alpha males being all sweet and thoughtful. lol

I had a great time with Midnight Wolf! Ashley never fails at delivering a stellar shifter romance that'll leave a girl shivering in delight. Noms!

Angus is a bouncer and collared shifter in New Orleans. He’s happy minding his own business until the Shifter Bureau comes in and threatens his cub/son. If he doesn’t capture a collar-less shifter, Tamsin, he will loose his cub.

Tamsin is wild, fun and completely spontaneous and nothing Angus has ever encountered. From the moment Angus sees Tamsin he is attracted but nothing, and I mean nothing will come between him and keeping his cub safe.

I completely loved Tamsin, she was a character you can f

Let me start by thanking The reading cafe!! I won this book in one of their great giveaways!! I have loved the cover for Midnight wolf since it was first revealed its beautiful. This was a awesome shifter romance read and I enjoyed it throughly. I love tamsin the Fox shifter she's a awesome character full of life, spunk and clever as hell and she leads Angus on a merry chase. Their chemistry was great even though they both fought their attraction to each other. I loved a lot of the secondary char ...more

Midnight Wolf is book eleven in the Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley.

Ashley never fails to deliver. I had a delightful time with Midnight Wolf.

The Gist is that Angus has been ordered - forced by the shifter bureau to hunt down a female shifter. The bureau stole his cub, to force his hand. Not cool, but the shifter bureau isn’t nice.

Angus and Tamsin are night and day. He’s grumpy and growly with a kind heart. She’s full of life and energy. He plans and she jumps right in. They were

3.5 Stars. It was a nice story, and I enjoyed it. I liked both the leads; but not a whole heck of a lot happened. Tamsin and Angus (and son) being on the run comprised most of the story, the summary only described like the first chapter or two.

All these books can be standalone, and that is good for someone not familiar with Ashley's shifter world. For those of us who have been reading from the beginning, the stories are getting a bit...routine. The 'fae war' has moved to the background and has

Eh, just an okay read for me. I didn't really connect with Tamsin, and there was no chemistry between her and Angus.

Midnight Wolf is a story I have been definitely looking forward to reading all year and I had a blast with this book. Now I won't say its my favorite book of the series, however this book was SMASHING it all the ways that Jennifer Ashley writes a romance. I can never get enough

Jennifer Ashley has created another fascinating shifter tale in her Shifters Unbound series. As usual with her books, her characters are strong and charismatic with fierce personalities that readers can’t help but become fascinated by as their stories unfold. Tamsin and Angus’s story starts off with lots of excitement and keeps an energetic and fast pace as their sizzling chemistry and rocky meeting keeps this couple on turbulent path full of smoldering passion, thrilling danger and shaky relati ...more

More Shifter surprises!

Just when you think you have a handle on all things Shifter, Fae and everything else in between, Ashley throws in another surprise.
Midnight Wolf has that and more. Angus Murray is the strong silent type whose backed into a corner when the Shifter Bureau seizes his cub in exchange for his tracking skills. His instructions are to find a rogue shifter and bring her back to them.
Of course everything is not as simple as it seems. Tasmin Calloway is more than Angus expects. We m

I really enjoy this series and I have to admit this was one of my favorites since the first few books (which are still the best IMO). This book centers around Angus who has been ordered by the shifter bureau to track down an uncollared shifter (Tamsin). Naturally Angus wants nothing to do with this but they've taken his son and won't return him until he brings in Tamsin.

I really loved Angus and Tamsin together and thought it was a great pairing. The two have some definite opposite qualities but
I'm discovering this series from the latest book backwards. I picked this up for review and so enjoyed the story that I'm starting at book 1 and reading more. It's a great world and I so love shifter stories.

This world is pretty new to knowing about shifters. Twenty years ago, they were outed to the human world. The Fae created the shifters to fight for them and there have been many a battle. Now they live in shifter towns where they are forced to wear collars that shock them should their aggres

Well this was a fun little side adventure. I like it when this series takes us away from the shifter towns for awhile. this series has a lot of books to it. Although you could read this as a stand alone, I think over all, you will understand the world building a bit more if you have read a few more of the books.

Hot, single dad, alpha wolf trying to protect his son. He also happens to have a hidden heart of gold behind that tough guy look. What he doesn't expect is Tamsin running into his life.

Big, quiet shifters with hearts of gold are my thang, man. I like 'em. I like watching them let people in. Especially that special someone. Angus certainly fits the big, silent part of the equation. Whereas Tamsin is neither big nor quiet.

But she fits with him. Actually, she fits with both him and his son. The fact that she has a connection to Angus's family complicates things. Because EVERYONE seems to want to know what she knows and that makes her a dangerous person to be around.

Book 11 in the Shifter Unbound series, MIDNIGHT WOLF tells the story of Angus, who was introduced in RED WOLF, and Tamsin, a shifter of a different sort. As a Fox shifter, a kind largely unknown in the shifter world, Tamsin has some interesting talents as well as being a fun and challenging potential mate for Angus’s growly wolf self. He is coerced into going after Tamsin by a Shifter Bureau agent holding someone precious to him which forces Angus into a difficult situation. The wily fox that is ...more
Love Jennifer Ashley's shifters! Each story gives us answers to the over arching story as well as a very satisfying romance HEA. Her stories are so well crafted!

We got to know Angus Murray, widowed black wolf in Red Wolf. He's the bouncer at the New Orleans shifter bar. He's very good at his job and manages to really care about the shifters who come there. I have to say that I always enjoy Jennifer Ashley. Sometimes one more then the others. This is one of those cases.

I just loved this book. You won't be able to not love both Angus, his son and Tamsin. These three are a hoot! They cracked me up throughout the story. They are one of my favorite families in this series. You could feel their love for each other jump off the pages of the book.

Midnight Wolf by Jennifer Ashley can be read as a standalone although this is part of The Shifters Unbound series. ( ...Despite the shark jumping and deus ex machina ending)

Angus and Tamsin have something in common; his asshat dead brother. Not that she dated the creep, but there is something she knows about him that others want to know too.
Angus is pressured by a psychopathic Shifter Bureau villain, into tracking Tamsin down, but it's not long before he is joining her on the run.

A quick high-octane read with lots of our favourite characters playing parts.

I didn't really remember Angus but I did remember the sentient house, Ben, Zander, Rae, Dimitri, Jaycee and especially Tiger. They all made appearances in this book. For some reason, Shifter Bureau forced Angus to look for fugitive uncollared Tamsin by holding Angus's cub captive. But being a protective wolf, Angus decided to save Tamsin after he got his son back and the three of them then go on the run...

What another great installment to the series. Midnight Wolf starts off with Angus being forced by the Shifter Bureau to track down a female shifter. They've been trying to get their hands on Tamsin, but she's always eluded their people. So, they kidnap Angus' cub and force him to use his tracking skills to bring in the woman. However, once he has her, he's not too keen on turning her over to the sadistic bastards and soon finds himself, Tamsin, and his cub on the run from not only the Shifter Bu ...more

This book was so much fun to read and that was due to Tamsin. She had such a zeal for life, mostly due to living life on the run and forced into living in the now. I liked Angus, but he was a bit of a stick in the mud, looking for safety and stability, so you can imagine how these two clashed at the start. Their battles were fun, each of them coming out on top at different times. It was once they both were on the same page that things really started to pick up.

I'm a big fan of the Shifter Unbound series and was excited to read Midnight Wolf. I was not disappointed. Angus meets Tamsin when he's sent to bring her in for questioning. I love how he is a growly wolf to the world but soft-hearted. He is shocked when he finds out Tamsin is a fox as no one knew shifter foxes existed. Even though Angus has to bring her in he also helps her escape. I love how their relationship grows as they learn more about each other. Trust comes slowly but they know they bel ...more
