This is a rerelease Of the three part series The Rise Of Harlem's Princess..... I put all three books inside one boxset, with over 10k more added words.
Imagine throwing a kid in a candy store and telling them they couldn’t have any. Think about the reaction you would get. That’s how it all started for Diva Woods but instead of candy it was drugs, guns, and men. She didn’t live the average life of a 16 year old. She had and experienced things people twice her age didn’t have or experience. She owes that to her father Jamel ‘Capo’ Woods, he is the King of Harlem which makes her the Princess. Diva took her title seriously, all the fame, fortune, trials, and tribulations she took it like it was nothing. It was all a part of her rise to the top. But like that old saying goes, what goes up must come. Take a ride through Harlem with Diva and experience The Rise of Harlem’s Princess.
After reading about Diva in Chrissy J's other book, I really thought she was the real deal. This series made her look so weak. She let Eddie play her so much. All the men that she was with did her dirty and she still loved their dirty draws. Then she never had her kids. Who goes out of town for fun, while their child is In the hospital fighting for their life. In every one of this authors books, the female character always has a lot of kids. Every female has twins. Please change it up. The majority of the females in this book have stripper names. The characters in this book all have 2 and 3 different names which made reading this book confusing at times!
Story moved slow at first. The Princess seemed to be the Queen of Hoes at first. She seemed to be all about buying clothes and bedding thugs. All of a sudden, she was a street queen! You've never seen someone jump from a whiney spoiled brat to a boss overnight. That's not believable. The author ought to fire her proof reader. Honestly, the grammatical errors were the pits. They almost ruined the book for me. I'm surprised that it was published with this many errors. With all that said, I will probably still read the next book and hope that there are much needed improvements because the author has too much talent to go down like this. No Sweat
Diva supposedly the princess of harlem. That's not what I saw. She was a hoe, she was weak and stupid. She stayed with a man that lied, cheated, out his hands on her and disrespected her every chance he got. Then she let him drive her to getting high. She's sleeping with eddie, Kevin and bar. That's nasty. She has no ambition to be anything. That's not how a princess carries herself. Then her dad supposed to be this big and bad dude but every time Eddie puts his hands on her he does nothing. She's a dumb broad.
The first & 2nd part of this series made her out to b a thot how u gonna have ur main & side nigga sleeping in the same house than she met another player had a bby married him but he's keeping secrets from her bc i believe he's sleeping with her sister & had a child with her. Now i've got to read part 4 to see how Diva's gonna handle all the bs tht's coming her way
Now why did you have to put that ending in their like really I need more cause I know it's about to be some shit and Ken I can't believe him man poor diva I can't wait to read part four girl you have to make that happen ASAP
This book is a terrific page turner. I could not put it down. All of the characters and plots flowed together very well. I cannot wait to read part four of this terrific series.
Wow is all i can say. The book started off slow with spoiled Diva and a lil hoeish but Diva grew up and came into her own person. I can't wait to read part 4.
