In every man’s life there comes a day of reckoning. It’s the day darkness is exposed and sinners are punished for their trespasses.
A day when loyalty is destroyed and a man is left in ruins.
When he walks away from his club and loses his religion.
Whoever said from the ruins they will rise again never walked a mile in my shoes or the pair of red ones I was left holding

If you’ve read any books from Janine Infante Bosco, then you may already have met Pipe. He’s the SGT at Arms and Jack’s right hand. He’s the one who calms the demons in Jack’s head. If you haven’t read one of her books, then you’re in for one hell of an incredible introduction.

Pipe is lost. Everything that meant something to him now has no meaning. After a tragedy strikes the club, Pipe’s life is in ruins. He’s lost his wife and he’s lost his way. Removing his patch, he hasn’t gone nomad. Nope,

Janine’s books have my heart by the balls….if my heart had balls…you know what mean.

So, me and Janine were talking the other day over a glass of wine. Well, Janine wasn’t there, but my kindle was…same thing. And Janine was like, “Hey, girl! I’m gonna make you cry your eyes out!” and I was like, “Girl, nah uh!” and then she was like, “Cry, Bitch!” and I was like, “Leave me, alone, Janine!”…and then I’m already crying by 10%. I am NOT a girl who likes to read sad books. I wouldn
I saw where one reviewer wanted to know how this author's books could just keep getting better with each new book and I feel the same way. I did not want this book to end and I know I'm going to re-read it very soon. I've followed this series and these characters seem to grab hold of me and not let me go. But it should be noted this book can be read as a stand alone. If you read the entire series I can assure you will want to be "Property of Parrish", the president of the club.

Every book is just better and better. She puts so much heart into her stories that they stay with you long after you put the kindle down.

I have been patiently waiting for Pipe's story, I just knew it would be an emotional read. And I had no idea who the author could dream up that would be the perfect woman for Pipe. Layla is beyond amazing, as a woman

Pipe/Lee has never had it easy, he has been a casualty of life far more than he would desire.
Learning about the events that has transpired and made him the MAN he is today also inspired me as a reader that even though life knocks me down, I have to get back up. His story isn't an easy one, maybe that's why he was paired up with the perfect woman. Layla.
She is divorced, has three kids and she is working it. Layla is a woman I aspire to be when life keeps on going. The firs

4.5 STARS for this one. Wish Goodreads would allow us to give 1/2 stars! I really did love this story, the 4.5 * is really because when our H/h meet, I just felt as though their attraction to one another could have been fleshed out a bit more, with the state we find our H in at the beginning, I just think he put all his woes behind him a bit too easily to be believable. But maybe I'm wrong.
Having said that, I really did enjoy Pipe's story and I desperately wanted him to find his happy ending. I'

From The Ruins by Janine Infante Bosco is an emotional second chance in life romance between two mature souls who never saw it coming. This story can be read as a standalone but it's better enjoyed read with the others in Janine's Satan's Knights. I've been waiting for Pipe's story for ages and Janine did not disappoint!

After a horrific event, Pipe is lost and doesn't want anything to do with his club and the only family he's known. Try to forget the pain, Pipe leaves the island and hide out fu
Oh my god, this book took me completely by surprise! I haven't really heard much about this book. And I'm so happy I chose to read it. Because I absolutely adored this book! I couldn't stop highlighting CONSTANTLY. This book was everything!

I may not be in a relationship and I may not have kids, but MAN. This book!

I just can't with my feelings. So happy I read it!

PERFECTION! There really is no other way to put it. Janine Infante Bosco is just brilliant. The truths in this book, both hers and her characters, take this story to an entirely different level. Holding nothing back, she tells these truths. She owns them as do her characters. The story itself is incredible. Janine takes you on one hell of an emotional ride. And while it's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah, Janine pulls it all together brilliantly and leaves you begging for more.

WOW, talk about such a wonderful book!! Janine just keeps showing us with each book how much her talent grows with each book by giving us delivering a book that somehow is even better than the others. Yes this book can be read as a standalone but I so happy that I've read the others so I know how everything has progressed and what everyone's story was. You aren't going to get much MC in this book but it was so beautiful. The fact that Janine put so much of herself just gave it that much more and ...more

This is the first book I’ve read from this author…what was I thinking! Why haven’t I read her books before???? I am kicking myself but all of that is about to change. I LOVED this book! Everything about it was perfect; the storyline, the characters, the emotions, and the truths. I love Janine Infante Bosco’s writing style, the storyline flowed effortlessly and the character development was spot on.

I did have a hard time getting into the book at the beginning. There was so much raw emotion and h

Truth, this book will give you inspiration, enlightenment and show you even the broken can rise from the ruins. As a huge fan of the Nomads series and feeling like I became Property Of Parrish after reading them, I thought there was no way Janine Infante Bosco could grab hold of my heart any tighter with her words than she had. Truth, I was wrong, oh so effing wrong!!! From the moment I read the authors note to the readers she had already made me laugh and cry and I hadn’t even started the story ...more

In this book of the series, we get to see more about Pipe, AKA Lee Jameson. From the beginning of the book, my heart broke for the little boy that was Lee Jameson. When the person they knew walked into the clubhouse and blew it up, my heart broke yet again at his reactions to things. What happens to Pipe after that? What causes him to unleash on his brothers? Who are Layla and her children? What happens when they move in next door and Pipe comes home, heading inside? What does Pipe do? The play ...more

I've been looking forward to Pipes story since Drifter so even thought From the ruins can be read as a standalone I highly recommend that you read Drifter before you start . It was one hell of an emotional story witch is no surprise because this is written by Janine Infante Bosco .

I read the first book in the Satan's Knights Prospect Trilogy, liked it and wanted to check out these books. But man, from the start I didn't care for this one, but I kept reading, hoping it would get better. Sadly it didn't and I gave up. I didn't care for Pipe, didn't like how there didn't seem the feeling of brotherhood. In the end this one wasn't for me.

“It’s from the ruins they will rise.”

Holy Amazeballs!! Five stars does not even come CLOSE to encapsulating how extraordinary FROM THE RUINS, book 1 in Janine Infante Bosco's new Satan’s Knights series, is! It’s the kind of all-consuming book grabs your heart from page one, RAVAGES, then HEALS, the soul, and keeps you ENTHRALLED up until the very end! This is my first novel from this exceptionally talented author but it Will. Not. Be. My. Last!

This is the PALPABLE love
When last we saw ”Pipe” he was a broken man. In the blink of an eye a bomb took his wife and left him questioning the price he paid in the name of brotherhood. He turned his back on the men and women he once called family and left his past behind to wallow in misery and wait for the end. Things don’t go as expected though when a newly-divorced woman with three children invades his solitude and has him discovering a new definition of family. Pain and fear of the unknown drives these two older and ...more

From the ruins he shall rise and rise he did It may have taken him a while to come to terms, not only with the tragedy that put him where he is, but also with himself, his club and the rest of his life and the people in it. Lee "Pipe" Jameson had a hard start to his life, but he was loved by the one woman who saw sunshine wherever she went, no matter that they lived in the slums. She always had a smile and made sure to spend as much time as she could with her only son, until she didn't come home ...more

When I review I think carefully about not only how I feel about what I have read but also about how to convey that to those of you who may read my review and all I can say with this story is that it deserves every single one of the FIVE stars that I would give it, it was knock your socks off fabulous!
I wanted Pipe’s story to mean something, to reach in and wring every ounce of emotion from my heart and it did just that.
I had palpitations with the depth of emotion that the author drew from me, em

I’ve read every book in this series and let me just tell you that From the Ruins is the best one yet. You can tell this author puts so much effort into this book because you can just feel every single raw, gritty, painful and heart wrenching moments. I’ve wait, not so patiently for Pipes story and I just knew this one would tear me up inside but I just didn’t realize how much it would have affected me. We know what happened to Pipe when the Satan's clubhouse blew up in Drifter. But we've had a few books to get through before finding out his story and I have to say, it was definitely worth the wait. From the Ruins is amazing, beautiful and heartbreaking all at the same time. It's raw and intense and doesn't hold any punches. It basically ripped out my heart and then shoved it roughly back in, but I

All my reader friends know how much I loved The Tempted Series by this author, and this book reaffirmed my faith in my love for this author. When Pipe lost his wife I cried for him; when Pipe lost his faith in his brotherhood I cried for him…and then I cried because the series was over…yup I cried a lot, and apparently my tears for Pipe were not over, because this book also made me cry for Pipe - some sad tears and some rightfully deserved happy tears.
