Ladies, do you need a good giggle-snort?

Bobbi Jax, AKA BJ, reaches out to flick the cheek on the chick hiding in the bushes. Plastic. But oh so real looking. And creepy enough to interrupt her romp in nature with hot cop, Peter Harris. Creepy enough that BJ and her best friend, Kay decide to retrieve the discarded mannequin from the park that night, tie it to the roof of their car, and drive it back to the bar she manages. Creepy enough that it lights up social media like a beacon calling in the crazies. Who knew curiosity could put her in so much danger?

Quinn and Glasneck, high on the beer fumes from a signing party at a local brewery, decided to take a step away from their usual writing styles to put together a new mystery (for anyone who wants a laugh) in the style of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum novels – that is if Stephanie had a younger southern cousin, who ran a bar, and had a thing for police uniforms.

Wow, not what I expected!

If You See Kay Run is a book about gals taking over a bar and the troubles with that but also one of them finds a life like mannequin that looks like Kay. They clean it up and put it in the bar. From this point on, strange things happen. It's a mystery with suspense and humor mixed in. I enjoyed this first book of the series and picked up the next.

It's funny, witty, irreverent, and filled with non-stop action. (Take that statement however you want.) The tongue-in-cheek sarcasm left me constantly thinking "they didn't, did they?" and "I can't have just read that right." But no, they did, and that's exactly what I read. And my ribs still hurt from laughing that hard. I realize I'm dating myself here, but it's a lot like I Love Lucy crossed with In the Heat of the Night. I was only two chapters into the book and I was already wondering when the next one would be released. I'm calling this series my newest book addiction because I can't wait for my next fix. Read it! You'll understand what I mean.

If Your See Kay Run is a fantastic start of a new mystery series. Authors Fiona Quinn & Tina Glasneck teamed up to co-author a humorous and absolutely enjoyable new book. The writing is very impressive and engaging. You can’t help getting sucked in! I loved this story and read it all in one night. I can’t wait to read the next book about this troublesome duo!

BJ finds a creeper when she’s trying to get it on in the bushes with her cop of the day. Turns out this creeper is a very human looking mannequin and despite it giving her the heebie jeebies she takes it back to her newly acquired bar. While torn between throwing it out and being drawn into the mystery of why it was in the park, BJ and her best friend Kay are thrown into ridiculous and funny situations. What follows is the strangest mystery full of twists and turns you didn’t see coming. You can’t help but love BJ and she gives you every reason to root her on.

I recommend this book for adults who love to laugh and enjoy a cozy mystery.

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it. All my opinions and thoughts are in no way influenced by this.

OMG. I couldn't put this book down. It was so funny. BJ was so funny in her attitude to in the boys in Blue. Kay & BJ are wonderful together. They get into so much trouble together. The story line about the mannequin was so funny and twisted. I was so surprised in the reveal of who the bad guy was. I loved how Twinkles came to the rescue and all BJ's cop guys. i look forward to see what happens to BJ and Kay in the next story.

Who would have thought that humor would mix so well with a murder mystery. I loved this story! I loved BJ with her lust for the boys in blue and her big heart. I loved Kay with her constant BFF support. I loved Twinkles!
This book was so much fun to read. The characters are quirky and their names just make it better. The crime was serious, but BJ and her gang don't seem to take much in life too seriously, so there were moments of humor throughout. I think that anyone who loves the Cozy genre will love this book, and I can't wait for the next one!

So, first of all, this story is about Bobbi Jax or BJ, not Kay, which could be confusing but doesn't derail the entertainment value of this book. If you are looking for a light, comedic read then this is for you. BJ is a cop fanatic and it clearly shows in the story which makes for some funny moments. You'll love her dog, Twinkles and the names the authors have come up with for some of the characters. I look forward to more.

Enjoyable

I found this book to be a good read but not a full attention grabbing read. While being entertaining enough to want to read on, it didn't exactly make me want to read book2

I was gifted a copy of this book, for which I thank the author (or in this case author(s) but I mean Fiona Quinn :-). I normally read her romantic suspense books which I love, so this is something completely different. But I heard this book was written with tongue-in-cheek so I will review it as such.

BJ is only 22 and in charge of Hooch, a bar in dire need of some new clientele. She is a badge bunny, which means she loves the men in blue and shiny badges. Which I can understand (gimme a yummy cop every day!) but as I am a romantic it was not exactly what I wanted to read about. We have Peter, the current one; Dick, who she let go because he became a detective and Connor, who is out of bounds because he has a girlfriend (and Kay's brother). During one of her trysts with Peter they find a mannequin in the park. BJ and her BFF Kay take the mannequin back to the bar and use 'Daphne' for some social media activities. Soon the doll attracts enough attention and BJ and Kay are trying to solve the mystery of the mannequin.

This was a very fast read and I liked BJ and Kay. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the characters and keeping up with the names but the story as such was easy to follow. I loved the dog! The ending was a bit abrupt, but it ends on a good note and no cliffhanger.

Overall a very good start to a new series. The first book in a (mystery/cozy) series is always a bit harder because of the information you have to ingest. I am curious as to where the series will lead.

Seriously funny, very witty and a humorous contagious read from start to finish.

Highly entertaining, If you see Kay run was a great short read, quick witted, fast paced and great action (between the bushes, behind the bar, between the sheets...lol )

I laughed out loud a lot the story centered around Bj her best friends Kay and Connor, Dick the detective oh and we can't forget Lyle Cummings and his love of dolls. Talk about tears streaming down my face at the names to start with they just fit with the story so well I seriously giggled at BJ the Badge Bunny now come on that's just hilarious especially considering how much she likes Dick the detective even though he is a detective now and not wearing his uniform I did love that he offered to wear it for her anytime.

I really don't want to give spoilers away but seriously and yes there was a bit of seriousness to the story, murder is always serious, weaving the words together to make such an entertaining story come to life with enough humour to have me spurting my coffee everywhere, well how can that not be a must read.

If You See Kay Run: A Badge Bunny Booze Book by Fiona Quinn & Tina Glasneck
I didn't know what a Badge Bunny was but basically it's a cop groupie! This isn't as bad as it sounds, the book wasn't foul or sleezy, but quite funny in parts. And full of good people. Plus a great dog, a big huggable dog, Twinkles that I fell for quite hard. He was protective and charming. BJ is working full time in a pub she's been given half of. The only trouble is the other half was worn out and has gone on vacation to recover. I'm thinking not far into the book that BJ may follow him soon herself! Kay is her best friend, the sort you treasure. This story moves along steadily at a good pace but I got quite breathless toward the ending. I couldn't stop reading!

I am a lover of all books by Fiona Quinn and Tina Glasneck! This was the funniest and mostly light-hearted book I've ever read! I say mostly light-hearted, because there is a mystery component in the story. One that will take the reader by surprise. The authors have the best imagination and have put together a novel that will knock your socks off. I have never laughed so hard in my life while reading a story. This book is definitely a mood lifter. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.....yes...this is a series....and I am so happy it is!

I highly recommend this book if you want to feel good and have a great laugh!

I was given an ARC of the book in exchange for my honest review.

I really loved Quinn Glasneck and Fionna Quinn's sex-starved cop-humping lead character, BJ, and all the trials and tribulations she goes through, both in and out of sexual relations in this series. I loved the off-kilter single cops only sexual compass, as well as the conflict of her social moral compass of BJ, and the resulting rationale she has, at least in her mind, for many of her decisions, and of course, let's not forget her partner in crime and often her rescuer, Kay. The author leads the reader on a very enjoyable and fun-filled jaunt while reaching the inevitable solving of the mystery, that often takes a back seat to the main story line. This is a voluntary review of a copy of this book.

Fiona Quinn & Tina Glasneck bring you a really hilarious novel!
Do You know what a Badge Bunny is? LOL for BJ it becomes one thing after another. What’s suppose to be a romp with a cop turns really funny when BJ notices something right by them that turns out to be a life-like mannequin! BJ and her friend Kay decide that they can’t leave the mannequin out there so they bring it back to the bar that BJ manages and what they decide to do with the mannequin just might surprise you! You get not only mystery and romance but also humor that makes this a must read!
Can’t wait for the next installment of A Badge Bunny Booze Mystery! Thank you Ladies for a truly enjoyable book!

Don't let the beginning of the book fool you .

I almost dropped the book after reading the first few paragraphs....thinking just another t and a book. But take my advice keep reading as this quick read becomes a great little who done what where!? Quinn Glasneck had me guessing what happened to a girl named Cloe. B.J. and Kay got into several very amusing adventures and stumbled their way into a very dangerous mystery! Found myself holding my breathe as the girls came to a screeching finagle! This is a delightful quick read that leaves you wanting to jump into the next one in the series!!

Hilarious!!

What a funny little book! Love seeing a Badge Bunny describing her own self that way unabashedly! Lord knows there are plenty of Badge Bunny haters and lovers, so the ladies might as well have equal time for once, and at least in this story the Badge Bunny had a code and only went for single men so what’s the harm? All’s fair in love and the Thin Blue Line. I’ve met my share of Badge Bunnies and wish they were all as charming as BJ - after 33 years+ I should know my husband is a retired police Sgt. and I was an officer myself. However, the book is really amusing, and the plot keeps your attention.

Bj and Kay are BFF’s but where ever they go trouble follows. Bj is a badge bunny. She only dates cops. Her family friend/ boss just signed over his bar Hooch to her. Bj needs something to make Hooch’s popular again. On a afternoon romp with her latest cop with benefits Bj finds a mannequin. She takes it back to her barnand Names her Daphne. A friend makes a video of himself and Daphne. That goes viral. So the bar is pack. But weird things start happening ever since Bj brought Daphne to the bar. A mystery is born.

This series has a great bunch of characters in it. If you love reading Stephanie Plum you like reading these books.

FUNNY! This was really quick read. Very enjoyable and laughable.
BJ is a witty woman with a serious thing for men in blue with the badge. It drives her crazy. Add to is accidentally found mannequin in the forest. And to make things more hilarious - there will be a guy that will LIKE this mannequin - his thing was so hilarious!
BJ and Kay (her friend) have the thing for being a detective and she will try to discover what was going on with this mannequin - but will that be safe?
I promise you a lot of fun and possible laugh out loud!

What Georgi Saw

Remember the bachelorette party when you went to see the Chippendales? It was just the girls letting their hair down and having a good, if somewhat raunchy, time (no, we won't mention what Aunt Marge was up to). So into that Spring Break atmosphere let's introduce a touch--just a pinch--of sinister; after all, this is a Mystery! And you are off and running!

Disclaimer: When I saw the description I requested a copy of this book and am delighted to be able to provide this review.

This was a quick, fun read. What a hoot! BJ, Kay and the cast of strange characters kept me laughing and guessing throughout the book. What is the origin of the strange, lifelike doll and the men who are fixated on it? What exactly is a badge bunny? Has Kay found the love of her life? To find out the answers to these and other questions, you have to read the book. I loved the quirkiness of the story line and can't wait for the next (mis)adventure.

What do you get when you put together two great suspense writers with quirky senses of humor? You get "If You See Kay Run." It's a zany mystery that engages the reader from beginning to end in a fun yet creepy suspense story that has just enough innuendo to keep readers fanning themselves to cool. It may be light reading, but Quinn and Glasneck know how to keep their readers engaged - don't expect to do anything else until you've finished.

When I started this book, I thought this is a little strange....but it grabs your attention immediately. It is hilariously funny. There are characters you will love and a few you will think are creepy. There is a murder/mystery involved and I honestly didn't know how the book would end. Follow BJ, her dog Twinkles and her friends Kay and Conner to see if you can figure out the mystery or will you be as surprised as I was at the ending.

Brew Ho Ho!

I love it! If you love Janet Evonavich's Stephanie Plum novels, you'll adore this wildly entertaining, hilarious novel. I can't wait to see what BJ and Kay get into next.
The Bunny Booze Mystery had me rolling! It's not only comical, but the mystery they solve together is one for the books - literally. The characters were well developed and the world building pulls you in from word one. Definitely a five-star, must-read book!

This book was an easy read. B J and Kay are best friends.

What two girl friends from grade school get into as adults is in this book. The story keeps you wanting to read more. Hooch is a bar that B J gets and must keep it running. Kay is B J's best friend and volunteers to help. A mannequin is found and becomes the mascot for the bar. What happens in this story just gets better n better. This is a really fun book to read

So funny, but scary too.

How can a mannequin cause so much drama? I mean, come on, they're not real, maybe? Putting the doll in the bar drew in a crowd, the wrong type. The situations these two girls find themselves in, well just sigh and remember what is was like to be twenty and free. Laughed out loud so many times I had to explain to my husband who wanted to hear the whole story. Read and have a laugh for yourself.

This book was highly entertaining and sorta creepy- in a "what next" kind of way. It's a quick easy readfor a lazy afternoon. Lots of sex puns! Some were funny and some were cheesy. I didn't expect the ending to be the way it was. Worth reading. First book in the series I've read and works good as a stand alone.

Hilarious! Mystery, murder, and (mostly) sexual innuendo make this book the most fun read in awhile. BJ, bar manager/50% owner, is a Badge Bunny and an amature sleuth. Kay is a paralegal, and BJ's best friend. Together, they seem to attract trouble. Loved it!

A funny mystery with a great dog to it off!

2 sisters BJ and Kay must solve the mystery of the lost mannequin found in the park. Both sisters have cops as their boyfriend's, who play a big part in their lives. BJ has a very protective and loving dog. There were funny as well as tense scenes as the sisters were going after the culprit. I hope to read another book in this series.

Clear message in title!

As soon as I saw the titles, I knew I had to start this series! I love hidden humor or flagrant humor! Of course this was not a “comedy”, but it definitely kept me interested. I love a group of friends that just love being with each other, comfortable. The mystery was very intriguing, and unusual also. Very much enjoyed this read!!!

Very entertaining!

BJ and Jay find a mannequin in the park and brings it back to the bar. They name it Daphne and use it to get customers in the bar. The mannequin turns out to be the spitting image of a missing woman and BJ and Jay become involved in the mystery that surrounds the mannequin.
