This was such a vivid tale, both enchanting and mesmerising.
Wracked with emotion and turmoil following the death of his wife, Turlough feels all hope has died with her. He flees his home, taking only his son Ruari—who refused to let him leave alone—and his harp. When a haunting melody lures him into the woods, into Faerie, he suddenly realises the danger he has put himself and his son in. The Fae are insistent and their music captivating. Really good read

I loved the story. It pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. It ended too soon though, left me wanting more!

As the author, I thought I'd share some of my challenges with this piece.

I'm a novel-writer, and this is my first serious foray into the world of short stories. Every word has to matter, much more than in a 100,000 word book. I learned a lot!
