Vader's first mission isn't going well. The dark side is the way of power. But no one said it would be easy.

Another brilliant issue in this series, it's awesome to see Vader at full force and being truly evil. I'm also loving Giuseppe Camuncoli's art, he's got some serious talent.

Dude.

EDIT: Ok, so I should really say more than just my standard verbal response to pretty much anything (being a native Californian at least excuses my reliance on the word, right?).

This is one of my favorite series at the moment. The writing is top notch and the art is gorgeous. I grew up watching Star Wars and Doctor Who and Hollywood noir films. My early years were formed watching good guys versus bad guys and sometimes they switched sides and sometimes everyone was bad or they inhabited

I have to admit, I’m cheering against Vader on this one. This story shows just how evil he was. People forget that sometimes.

This issue picks up right where three left off. We find Vader at the bottom of the cliffs. He has been torn to pieces from his fight with the Jedi Master and he is struggling to keep himself alive. Using pieces of debris from various left over parts of droids he and the Jedi Master tossed over the cliffs during their fight, Vader slowly starts to rebuild his armor.

The scene changes to that of the Jedi Master, who is in the city. He has come to reclaim the ship he had left here

Darth Vader #4 continues to build our Sith apprentice, with his journey to obtain his own lightsaber leading to some interesting, albeit predictable twists. Nevertheless the creative team fashion yet another thrilling turn of events, with the new direction Vader goes in to obtain his goal allowing the story to stay fresh.

This went by pretty quickly but it was a lot of fun! I wish we had gotten a little more time with the Jedi Master, but his was a cool defeat to watch! Finally glad we're getting a series focused on Force users. Hopefully the books will follow suit soon.

Really dig how we see Vader is truly monstrous in endangering innocent civilians as he pursues the Jedi. Come to think of it, I don't recall Vader being in this kind of situation before. At least not in canon.

I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t more of a fight between Vader and Infil’a. Vader is bad ass in this issue. It’s cool to see what he has become.
