There are no dovetails on the cover, but they are in just about every project in the book. No thanks

These are articles from fairly recent Fine Woodworking magazines. Nothing really special here, the small, standing picture frame and the lamps with veneer shades may be worth a look. The neat Jeff Jewitt Mission finish trick can be found here. http://homesteadfinishingproducts.com...

Otherwise many of the projects remind me of upgraded school shop projects, cutting boards, chess boards, etc.

This book is what the title promises, a collection of small projects collected from the magazine Fine Woodworking. Despite being small, most of the projects are quite advanced. A beginning woodworker (like me) would not be able to tackle much from this book yet, but the pictures are beautiful to look at.
