Technically, this is considered a childrens book, but I think the child would have to be either very bright or at least in middle school or both to appreciate this book. There is lots of information and plenty of excellent photographs. I realize kids need to learn about ecology but I'd like to read a good book about ear ...more

This ecological encyclopedia with a special focus on the effects of climate change is a nice introduction to both the planetary ecosystems and the cause-and-effect our human activities are having on this living planet. A great read for people of all ages wanting a summarised overview, although it needs an adult voice if used with younger children, and more in-depth study when read by teens or adults.

A clear, thorough, but equally detailed explanation of many different aspects of Climate Change. You can browse by topic, but I just read it cover to cover! The are pictures, colourful diagrams, and every page is interesting to see. Though it is aimed at younger children, older children and adults can still really develop and broaden their understanding though it.
I would recommend it for everyone!

The pictures and format would actually make this a really fun textbook. And for some reason, I love the cover.
