I feel that one of the most neglected duties of the Christian is evangelism. We go to Church, we do Bible Studies, we form Prayer Groups, and yet one of the most explicit commands given by Jesus Himself is often ignored. One reason for this may be because we are not sure how. When we think of the Great Commission, we think of travelling to far and distant lands armed with the truth. That is very true and very good, and yet we forget that, to the Christians, we were a people group that was to the ends of the Earth. The Great Commission calls us everywhere, including our own homes, and Tom Short opens up another front.
While campuses and universities used to be bastions of thinking and study inspired by God and his Works in this world, they have been turned into bastions for the World and the Devil. In this book Tom Short shares personal stories and advice that he gained from his time preaching on the Campuses in the United States and beyond, and he truly is a picture of someone who is not afraid of what he could lose from this, but only what he (and those he has led to Christ) can gain. He took the Good News to the Devil's turf, and God allowed him to triumph. I really recommend this book.
